Environs Landscape Architecture

My start-​up company, Habitats Tiny Homes, is developing the first tiny home community here in San Diego. I have only a small amount of working capitol and needed a professional and beautiful concept drawing for marketing and permitting. I finally found Environs after doing some shopping around. I called and spoke with Marty and he knew exactly what I needed. His turn-​around time was fast and his price was the best I found.
I only had an idea in my head of what I wanted the community to look like so I gave Marty very little info to go off of. Just a verbal description.
I just got my design a few days ago and the result was outstanding! Marty went above and beyond my expectations and thought of little details that I never would have. I will definitely be using Environs for the project when we get to the development stages.

I can’t say enough of about the satisfaction we had and have with the work that Marty and his Environs team did on our landscape design. We had our entire exterior hardscape and landscape done and now I have my dream backyard, complete with outdoor kitchen, wooden overhead structures, a gorgeous patio and entry way, a boulder fire pit (quite the conversation piece!), a new sunset viewing patio that took advantage of some unused hillside space, water tolerant landscaping, and dramatic lighting. The whole design flows together. Marty took my requirements, evaluated the space, and came up with an incredible design that blows everyone that sees it away. He came up with terrific ideas that I never would have thought of. We had them design an entirely new landscape, complete with drainage, irrigation, hardscape, landscape, and lighting plans, that made the contractor bidding process and execution very smooth. Marty and his team were great to work with. Extremely knowledgeable about architecture, engineering, with an emphasis on environmentally conscious design. They were very professional and had an attention to detail that I appreciated as an engineer. I would highly recommend Environs.

We have used Environs to do full landscape architecture plans for our home. We met with several companies before deciding to work with Environs. It is an investment to choose to use an architect when planning your landscape but it is one we are finding has more that paid for itself in the value received during the biding and work process with landscape, hardscape and electrical and irrigation. They also have excellent referrals for contractors they have worked with and in the end we chose theirs after bidding out several and we are thrilled with the process. One note is that we have a steep canyon in our yard and proper engineering of the types of retaining walls and drainage needed were critical for us, their knowledge of working in this terrain and getting it right means we will not have issues in the future.
