The Batman 89′ movie ruined me.
Days after I saw that movie I was gathering up any loose change and shaking my Mom down for allowance, then riding my bike over to my local comic book shop to get me some more comics! Well, growing up I found less and less time to give to comics but have always stayed somewhat interested.
Having driven past this place many times seeing the big «Comics» sign had grabbed my attention.
I finally made it in one afternoon to find a ver clean and organized shop. With new issues posted neatly on the wall, and back issues easy to look through in the bins in the middle of the room. Behind the glass cases there were many highly valued comic books (early issues, first appearances) and the large sum on the price tags that taunt me.
Lately, I have been picking up Trade Paper Backs (collections of comic series in one book) due to lack of time and commitment to stopping in to shops. On this outing I picked up an Amazing Spider-​Man book that continued off of a story I had read a year ago.
I was pretty impressed with this place and could have easily spent a few hours digging around… probably a few hundred dollars too if I wasn’t careful.
I will be back again soon when I get that itch again.

This shop had a large selection of silver and Bronze Age books and were easy to find as the display was very organized. The price on the higher grade books seemed a little high, but thats the nature of the industry so that didnt concern me too much. I was a little disappointed in the minimal discount for the cash purchase, and too set the record straight I didn’t spend $ 50-​$ 100 looking for a huge deal. I spent several times that amount and the owner was very reluctant to deal. That’s ok as his selection was excellent just have to be very selective on the books in my future visits.

This place is great for tabletop/​board games, too! I went here for Dungeons and Dragons/​pathfinder stuff and was not disappointed. There are tons of miniatures, polyhedral dice, rule books, board games, card games, and more. On top of that, the guy running the place is SUPER nice, knowledgeable, and organized. I haven’t met a shopkeeper that nice and helpful in a very long time. This place is a critical hit!

Awesome spot for a comic junkie! They’ve got everything here from New to old and definitely something here for you to put a nostalgic smile on your face! And there’s something for just about every pocketbook! The variety can’t get any better from the super vintage and rare to DC and Marvel silver and bronze age and just about everything in between. Check this place out you’re bound to find a treasure.

Awesome new comic book store in San Diego. The owner Bob is very knowledgable and friendly. This place has a lot of older hard to find comic books for decent prices. They also have a really nice selection of newer comic books and a nice selection of toys and games. Definitely worth coming here to fill in the gaps of your collection. Will definitely be back.

Contacted Bob through Craigslist and he responded in great time to answer some minor questions. As soon as I arrived to the shop I thought holy Kirby! This place was filled with goodies. So many graded comics, graphic novels, Silver & Bronze age back issue comics, board games, and more. The shop has increased it’s back issues quite a whole lot and I’m loving it. Overall this place is amazing! Bob is also very knowledgable and a great person to talk to. Also thank you for the previews magazine!

This shop just opened up recently and has so many great silver age books I didn’t know where to start. Dude is very knowledgable about the history of comics as well, so strike up a convo with him! The prices are much better than the other shops in town or even eBay.

I found tons of books here to fill the holes in my collection at affordable prices! Definitely a place that stands out for it’s organization of books, cleanliness, and wide array of selection. The owner, Bob, knows his stuff and is a pleasure to talk with. Great website too!

This is the best place for comics! I literally went to 20+ comic book stores and none of them had good books as this place does. Highly recommended!
