Good food Clean inside Friendly staff I had a California burrito, which good ones are hard to find. Meat was tender, flavor good. I would eliminate the cheese next time. Maybe add guac instead.

Came in to eat after I pass the border and needed to wash my hands, they told me that they don’t have restrooms and told me to go to McDonald’s. WOW. This restaurant doesn’t follow state regulation & to top it off they took my order wrong. Talk about a 1st and last time.

Customer service is phenomenal! Food tastes great. Prices are reasonable, but… the beef either in tacos, burritos or carne asada fries has way to much tough meat. I’ve phoned my order so when I arrive my food is ready to eat.

This place has the greatest carne asada I’ve ever had. Only drawback was the language barrier. My Spanish wasn’t existent abs their English was limited but the food was great from tacos to burritos, all awesome!

Barbacoa, carne asada, chicken burrito… It’s all amazing here. Have tried dozens and dozens of shops here in SoCal. This place is my favorite!

First thing first. The place looks unclean. Not necessarily dirty but I think what makes this place look unclean is the bucket for dishes on top of the trash bin. Its a very basic taco shop that could go with a more earthly paint color rather than grass green. They can also stand to get new tables and chairs. Also the menu needs an updo. There’s also a couple flies, but honestly so does Tacos el Gordo but not many people complain there because they face smash tacos into their mouths to even notice or care whats going around them. The cashier is nice unlike other people saying he is rude. Sorry he’s not giving you guys free back rub while you are eating or after you’re done with your tacos. He was polite not only to me but to the many people after me. I have been here several times and each time I have only met nice workers. The food is decent at most. Not 5 star quality and definitely not gasoline station quality. Its mid range and for the price its ok. I would probably come back again but that’s a big MAYBE and only if they clean up the place.

I’ve been here a few times and am shocked by the reviews here that think this place is good. I NEVER go here because it’s DISGUSTING. The meat is filled with hard peaces of catilage and fat. I couldn’t even get through a quarter of the burrito and have NEVER finished a single item from here. Definitely the worst taco shop in San Diego. You’re better off going another few blocks up to a different taco shop.

Was completely sold by the adobado spit in front of the shop. Ordered 2 for $ 1.89 each, inhaled it, and immediately wanted Tacos El Gordo afterwards. Though the street tacos did come with lots of meat and sauce, it was not flavorful. and did not satisfy the adobado craving. P. S. No free grilled green onions here.

Saw this place had really good reviews, stopped by, ordered a Cali and a Adobada burrito to go. Got home and my order was all messed up. Paid for extra cheese, burrito didn’t have cheese… we obviously didn’t enjoy our burritos. Burritos are small compared to other taco shops I’ve been to. So NOT impressed at all. I would much rather just go to TJ and eat some REAL Adobada tacos or if u can’t cross or don’t wanna make line go to Tacos El gordo(:

This place would get 5 stars solely for their RASPADOS :))))) my guilty pleasure even during the cold winter days. the food is okay could be better. I am a usual customer but once I arrived at 8:55pm and they close at 9pm and the worker turned me away :(my only bad experience there ohh and down side. they have a 0.50 charge when you use a credit/debit card

If you are in the area and want fresh authentic Mexican food this is a great spot and I know authentic Mexican fare very well. I had a cabeza burrito and it was the freshest and I am gonna have to say its the best I’ve had to date. It was shredded perfectly with NO chunks of grissle and cooked to perfection. they also included chips and refried beans for $ 5.30

Never ever go here! Worst place or so called taco shop. Flies in the food and terrible customer service. They make you wait and to top it off will charge you for the cup. Someone needs to close this place it is filthy and dirty!

If you ever find yourself in this neighborhood, and hope you don’t, there is an authentic Mexican place that will make you smile. Real Mexicans serving real Mexican food. T.v.with TJ station is fun too. Took my son her after football weigh in.(Eat up fatty) he had carne asada burrito and I had the roast beef taco plate. Salsa is also great. I prefer the smoked rojo. When you walk into a place like this you expect the foam plates and plastic utensils. Food was plenty and delicious… they even had a taco guy out front cutting off the spit. Although I hope to never come to this hood again… love the place and would definitely ensure to drive hungry.

Located right off i805, this taco shop has been my go-to for for fish and shrimp tacos for as long as I can remember! Living close by to this joint is dangerous because I’m always tempted to head over here to pick something up to-go! Back in the days, all I would order from here were tacos, but lately I’ve been ordering various items like their carne asada nachos, carne asada fries, rolled tacos, breakfast burritos and their respados, YUM!!! Whenever I stop in, ordering is a breeze. Customer service is quick and friendly. Their menu is simple and very easy to read. They do have some pictures of their foods on the wall in case customers aren’t too sure what to expect. Also, they have a self-serve salsa cart next to the front counter. It would be nice if they provided some«snack-bags» for the salsa containers for to-go orders though, just sayin’. Overall, their food is good and their service is friendly. Not bad for a local taco shop!

This place is very authentic, delicious and very very friendly and accommodating. Seriously, come get these tacos. There was a guy out front roasting spicy pork and the guys inside we’re making carbs asada by the pound. Cheap, tasty, perfect. Eat here.
