Seems genuinely concerned with his patient’s issues, and spent more time listening and consulting than any other primary care provider I have ever met. Two thumbs up for now.

I started going to Dr. Partovi in February 2014 when I came down with the«2 month» long cold virus; I thought it was the flu, but he told me it was not, and it turned out to be accurate because it didn’t require RX to recover. I returned to his office May 2014 for my annual check up including blood work; I am 53 yr old female; no major prior health issues. He sent me for blood work, I went to Lab Corp. where I’ve gone before. There was no pressure nor intimation that I should go elsewhere. Doc Partovi definitely wants to see the blood work first before any diagnosis and treatments are offered; he will write the script for antibiotics or other RX that would be needed, but he also offers natural alternatives to the RX if the patient doesn’t want synthetic chemicals to treat the condition. In my case, I welcomed a homeopathic option, and with my cold, turned out the homeopathic worked. Now, if you want to go to the doc, & get a pill to cure you, and not have to read about an illness or change your diet and exercise or lack thereof, then you should pass on Dr. Partovi; he is not your doctor. I happened to be blessed that I had a doctor who didn’t want to medicate me and get me out of his office. But, again, I realize, that isn’t for everyone. He did write scripts for supplements, and told me to get the Blood Type Diet book and read it, he did order follow up blood work based upon the results of my May 2014 blood work results. Again, if you want to be in and out of the doctor(at least in the short hall) and not work on your health along side of your doctor, then don’t go to Partovi. If you have a lab for blood work that your insurance covers, I see no reason you cannot go to that lab. No big deal.

Nice guy. Practice is different. Is not afraid to spend a lot of time with his patients. If you are open a more holistic, naturapathic approach to medical care, he is your guy.

My Suggestion is STAYAWAY! First, I was sent to an out-of-network lab for bloodwork when Dr. Parovi’s office indicated that my insurance would cover the costs. I ended up paying almost $ 3,500 out of my own pocket. Second, I signed up for three months which cost me $ 1,664 for my neutraceuticals. At the end of the three months I wanted to discontinue. Dr. Partovi claims that I was obligated to one year even though I never signed ANYTHING. It’s been a back and forth battle with him. Recently, I just found out that he charged my credit card on 4 occassions for $ 270 even though there were no services rendered and I never authorized the charges. That’s $ 1,080 for nothing. If you DO decide to go with Dr. Partovi, don’t expect any kind of «personalized care.» During the three months I was on his plan, he never called me once to check-in with my progress, which by the way was nothing. At this point, I think his business is struggling and possibly going under, so he’s trying to screw everyone for an extra buck!
