I’ve been using Unilocal for years and am too lazy to write reviews. However, this place deserves kudos. We ordered the prosciutto quesadilla and Kobe beef taco and added on a kids quesadilla for $ 1. Best«Mexican» food I’ve ever had. Kobe beef tacos are worth following this truck around town, even at $ 7 per. Amazing food. Period.

The turn out was great with Dos Bandidos. Our party loved it. We ended up choosing the basic options. The two guys were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend them. The only thing I will say that could be improved is the communication when booking and their arrival time was a bit later than we originally agreed but other than that everything was great!

I tried this food truck while at a car to go event downtown San Diego. I ordered a ribeye torta and was very pleased with it. The ribeye meat was extremely tender and season well. The price for the torta was about $ 15 which I thought was expensive but considering how tender the steak was I think it was worth it after all. My wife ordered street tacos — pork, and said she enjoyed it. They make everything to order so I can take a little while but at least you know what you’re getting is fresh. I also like the fact that you can see them making and cooking your food. They all wear gloves and the person handling your money doesn’t handle your food.

Really interesting menu with some things you will never see anywhere else like esgargot street tacos. Staff and the owner here chatted with me while I waited for the food. All was freshly prepared with a lot of slow cooked and braised items having been made early that morning. We tried just about every type of street taco available and loved them all. Good prices, novel flavors, and excellent plating if you will. Don’t hesitate if you are fortunate enough to find this food truck.

This food truck has come on several occasions to my apartment complex in Serra Mesa. The first time I ordered the street tacos. I didn’t like them all that much, so this last time(on Tuesday), I ordered the camarones burrito. Kind of pricey at $ 14.58. Again a weird ingredient made the burrito taste a little ‘off’ to me. I don’t think it was food poisoning, but I do think there is some ingredient that they use that isn’t sitting well with me. My credit card was charged a slightly higher price than what I signed for(the tip amount), but the company is willing to make it right so that I don’t need to dispute the charge on my credit card statement. I won’t probably patronize their food truck again since clearly it doesn’t seem to agree with me.

My company hired Dos Bandidos to come out for a large event for Cinco de Mayo. On April 23rd, Dos Bandidos confirmed that they would be there on May 5th. We corresponded in a few emails and they confirmed several times. On May 5th, they not only didn’t show up, they also did not even call to cancel. We found on facebook that they were at a Brewery. I can only assume they cancelled our event without communicating because they knew they’d get more participation at the Brewery. This is completely unprofessional. We had marketed this event for weeks– that Dos Bandidos would be there. We sent out emails, posted flyers around the offices… Hundreds of people thought Dos Bandidos would be there on Cinco de Mayo. I do NOT recommend this food truck if you expect them to be reliable and keep their commitments. Further, when we called them several times that afternoon, they lied and said we cancelled. They weren’t willing to take responsibility for the fact that they wanted more business.

We had an amazing experience with Dos Bandidos catering an event! The food was unbelievable!!! They were so easy to work with, we had vegetarian/gluten free guests and everyone was thrilled with the variety of selections. Can not say enough nice things about the whole experience. Would give them 6 stars.10 stars if possible!

Dos Bandidos came to the International Mobil Film Festival™(MFF2015) on the weekend of April 25&26, 2015. The food was delicious. The scents coming from their food was succulent. The character of the people who came was classy. Basically, they were a great choice! Our film festival is exclusive to films shot with mobile phones and our theme was«Let’s Go Mobile» and to include this mobile food truck in the festival certainly added to the prestige of our red carpet awards ceremony and mobile fashion show. Their truck is red, by the way. They rocked! We interviewed them on a mobile phone camera rig just like a news reporter or filmmaker, with a professional mic too, and we will be sharing the video with them because they worked with us to give full access to everyone who came. Thanks to Dos Bandidos for coming to this year’s film festival at Grossmont College. We hope that you will come to next year’s film festival as we grow bigger each year. Your food and your service was outstanding!

Saw this truck across the street in Logan while I was already eating at Salud. I was very intrigued, but got caught up with company and forgot to run over and get info. I was on my way out on a BBQ mission and I saw it at the Fern South Park food truck lot on Tuesday night. I dropped the BBQ journey instantly, and hopped the curb immediately with my Jeep without even noticing. Very cool new trailer offering 5 different meals as a taco or torta. I went with a Pancho Villa which is a pork belly taco with gorgonzola cheese, greens, house sauce and green sauce. Really amazing flavors coming out of this. High quality ingredients put together with incredible craft and care. Wanted to try the El Zorro which is a shredded pork but they were out of it, so I got 2 Panchos and a Zapata. The Zapata is a short rib taco with spinach, avacado and some kind of glaze sauce. This was outstanding as well. The menu, the fixings counter and sauces they offer are all perfect. There was a ton of care and thought putting this truck together both with the menu, look of the truck right down to the bottles of hot sauce they offer. I’d love to see them open a restaurant in the near future.
