Discovery Conference Centre

Discovery Conference Center is truly the most elegant and professional meeting space I have yet to experience. The interior design and spaciousness of the meeting rooms create a calming environment in which to work. The place is so comfortable it is easy to really focus on the task at hand. All of the technology needed to conduct a meeting is up to date and easy to access. The staff is stellar as well. Also parking is convenient and the nearby restaurants make the day stress-​free, expedient and enjoyable. After years of attending business meetings in freezing conference rooms, or in the windowless ballrooms of hotels, I can say that from my experience, this is as near heaven as it gets. Plus Discovery Conference Center is more affordable. This truly is a five star establishment all around!

I’m so impressed! This is what I’d consider an ideal facility in a perfect downtown location. Our organization was conducting offsite interviews for a new CEO and this location fit exactly the specs provided by our out-​of-​town executive search firm (including even the over-​the-​top request to avoid a western exposure because the afternoon sun can make conference rooms uncomfortable). The building is LEED certified and the style is one of understated elegance. It makes optimal use of natural lighting. The conference room we used was spacious, quiet, with lovely appointments and really comfortable seating. They have state of the art conferencing equipment, but we didn’t use that. Clark Wilson (scheduler/​concierge) and Rosalie Kramm (principal) are completely professional — very unobtrusive, but available to assist in whatever manner needed. We made a great impression on our CEO candidates and we owe a debt of gratitude to Clark and Rosalie.
