Dan Diaz Tile

I am an interior designer and have used Dan as my tile guy on several jobs. He is meticulous and skillful and very pleasant to have around during the process. Recently I had him install a new fireplace surround in my own home which turned out perfect! Just as I designed it — it looks even better than I imagined. He also cleans up the job site after all the mess which is so important. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Tiling can be a trade or it can be an art form. Dan Diaz and his team are artists without a doubt. We first used Dan for a kitchen and bath remodel back in 2001. He was recommended by both our general contractor and our interior designer. We trusted them, so we trusted Dan. He did exceptional work and we were thrilled with the end result. On top of that we were pleasantly surprised with the price. Four years later we had moved and were building an addition onto our new home. New home, new contractor, new tiling folks. Not that they did a poor job, but the attention to detail, perfect cuts, it just wasn’t the same. So when time came to remodel our guest bathroom a few months ago, my wife and I did not hesitate on who we would ask back to tile the floor and shower. While I never examined the tile saw used on this job, I swear it must be some sort of high powered laser because some of the cuts were so complicated, yet perfectly done, I simply have no idea how it was even possible! Be warned, plenty of people already know what we know, so you may have to wait awhile. But my mother used to say «anything worth having is worth waiting for». Dan Diaz tile is a perfect illustration of that old adage.

I recently had my kitchen re-​tiled and called upon Dan to do the work…
I can’t get over how PERFECT everything turned out! He had tile samples and was very friendly. There were no hidden fee’s and no surprises. I know he’s done work for the City of National City, so I was somewhat relieved he was a professional. After his completed work, I was very happy!
I recommend Dan if you need any type of tile work for your home or office.
