The staff is usually friendly, and the selection is good! Their prices aren’t the best in town but they often have sales and I like supporting a small business that’s been around for decades. They have some interesting and unusual snacks and chocolate, but what I really love is their fantastic selection of Haribo! They have some hard-to-find flavors, and it’s always fresh and soft. As Queen of Haribo, I give them 100 chewy stars.

They are the only liquor store in decent proximity without having to drive to a main grocery store. They have a decent selection of beer and wine but you can find better at other stores. I’ve been to this store several times in 10 years and the employees have never been very friendly… Maybe their ties are too tight? I only go here if I’m desperate and don’t feel like driving else where. Idk, the place just gives off a bad vibe? I actually prefer the food mart located diagonally; those employees always ask me how my day is or give me a smile and have even offered my dog treats!

Crest liquor used to have really good sandwiches. Now the deli is closed and they only have lame, pre-made, sandwiches.

Just moved in the area and both visits were unpleasant. The first time I walked in with my small dog and they told me I had to leave her outside. That alone screams prude but whatever, it’s their business. My boyfriend luckily was with me so he just walked her while I grabbed what I needed. There’s no way I’d leave her alone outside. The second time we pulled up on a scooter right in front of the entrance in plain view and noticed someone was inside who has harassed me many times before, and out of fear we didn’t want to go in until she left so we went to the edge of the parking lot to wait. Meanwhile some guy is running out after us screaming at us about parking there because he assumed we were parking to leave the area, and we tried to explain to him we were about to go in, but he just insists on continuing to yell at us in front of a bunch of people standing around like we were some punk kids and told us we needed to tell them first if we weren’t going to come in right away. Really? I didn’t see your board of rules outside, and obviously we weren’t going to park where we everyone inside could see us if we had bad intentions, don’t you think? Thank you for yelling at us during an unfortunate time for us because you apparently don’t have any patience for your community. It looks like I’m not the only one who found you guys as rude and unpleasant. I was blown away at how you talked down to us, we are grown adults who deserve more respect than that. Because of our interaction with you we decided to hop back on the bike and go elsewhere to shop.

This place has great service and the lines are FAST. Employees are very likable and professional, and items I expect them to have are always in stock. This store also has a nice feel, which is unusual for a small liquor store. I generally don’t post about convenience stores, but this place is great in every regard and I recommend it.

I literally NEVER do these reviews but my experience 10 minutes ago has inspired me. This is specifically for the OLD hag blonde lady who works here. I’m not going into details about it but she was insanely aggressive and rude to me, almost to the point of insinuating I was a thief. Prior to today, I went to Crest frequently for things I need because it is close to my house. I WILLNEVERRETURNTOCRESTLIQUORBECAUSEOFTHISWOMAN. You have lost my business for good. Someone, please, tell her to chill the f*** out.

Minimum credit card charge is $ 5.00 here, this policy was not posted at the register I went to, I didn’t look at any other registers on my way out. My total was $ 4.30, the clerk told me I have to buy something else to make minimum. He did not ask me if it was debit, which I would have said yes, had he asked, which reduces the transaction fee, which I’m sure is why there is this invisible policy in the first place. He also did not give me the option of a small service fee for me being under minimum. Most places with a policy like this have it posted on the credit card machine, and have something written along the lines of $ 0.25 charge for sales under $ 5.00. If I would have been given either option, I would still be a customer of this place, however, I was told I have to buy something else, and that is why I will never step foot in that establishment ever again. This happened about 2 hours ago, I have told about 30 people already that this place lost a local resident customer over a few cents. I went across the street to the gas station and purchased the items I tried to purchase at crest, much nicer and friendlier clerks over there.

Awesome place. I enjoy the staff and they have a great selection for being a rather small location!

Crest Liquor has a great selection of alcohol, super friendly staff, and they make fresh deli items daily. Since they’re right around the corner for me, it’s very convenient for me to come here. Thankfully they have such a great selection of beverages, day to day items, and food, or I wouldn’t be coming here so often. The establishment is very clean and the staff are always incredibly nice. If you’re in the area and need a liquor store, definitely go to Crest Liquor. Plus they pretty much always have parking spots available.

We were across the street at Rudy’s and decided it would be best if we just ordered our burgers for take-out and grab beer, and so Crest was the best logical decision for beverage pick-up. They have a decent selection and I had to try out the Pacifico, and I’m sure that it was priced a bit more than the larger grocery store chains but out of convenience it was ok. The staff was friendly enough as well. We were in and out pretty quick.

I simply bought an ice cream and water for a total of $ 4.45. I gave the cashier $ 5.50. He demanded another nickel for a dollar back in change. I was trying to tell him that his math was wrong but he became very rude, so I just gave him a nickel just to get out of there. I also heard the employees saying racist things about Arabs. I will never shop there again.

You know this is mostly due to the service I receive almost daily. I live around the corner from here and it was my go to store. However the people who work there are mostly rude and seen friendly to there more well known regulars. That’s not too say every employee is rude! A few are talkative and friendly but usually I feel like I am givin the cold shoulder while getting my purchases. After yesterday I will most likely not be returning here’s how it went down. Me: good morning! Man behind counter: grunt Me: can I have a pack of Marlboro lights and a pack of kools soft pack? Man behind counter: we don’t have kools in the soft pack. Me: yes you do. A man ordered A whole carton a week ago. Man behind counter: WELL I DONTSEETHEM! Me: ok I’ll take a hardpack then. Man behind counter:(grunts slams down smokes and rings me up) I pay and go to put my smokes in my bags I brought with me because I just came from the grocery store Man behind counter starts giving me head and arm signals to move because I’m not moving fast enough to help one of the Better known. regulars . Maybe he was having a bad day or he hates his job. Either way when you work retail at least attempt to be friendly guy. This goes for most of the employees who are generally rude. Once again I will Say the store has a impressive stock of beer wine cigars and hard to find cigs. I Would rather give my money to the gas station across the street until things improve.

As an ongoing crest deli customer for 20 years, I was clearly disappointed that the deli has now been shut down. I was directed to go over and get a premade sandwich from the cooler, and was told it would be just as good. However, it was dry and tasteless and the bread was awful. I will never go back into Creat Liquor again and until they restore the deli! What a huge business blunder on the part of the owner of crest liquor and deli!

When I first visited I thought it was weird that they’re all dressed for business. But it’s kinda nice. It’s part of the charm. Everyone there is super nice. I don’t wanna name names because I don’t wanna leave anyone out. I wish they still had the deli that everyone raved about. Why did you get rid of that? It was widely known as the best deli in pb, like Chris liquor in ob. Large selection of beers, wines, cocktail stuff, and eye candy. ;-)

The service here is always top notch. It’s a liquor store so I guess you don’t expect much service to begin with, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, these guys are always willing to help, make suggestions or let you know when they expect something to come in. Always dressed to impress, good service and a fair price for whatever you drink.

Crest Liquor is a top notch liquor store. I am very impressed with their wide selections. They have a great selection of craft beer, liquor and even groceries. Comes in handy all the time when I need something real quick but don’t want to run all the way to the grocery store. The pre-made sandwiches are great as well. The employees dress in shirt and ties which gives it a traditional old school feel that’s pretty cool as well.

This cute little liquor store is located in Crown Point across from the famous Rocky’s Burger joint. I have a few friends that live around the corner from here and I have found it very handy when we run out of anything for a bbq or party. There is a deli area to the right when you walk in and a small grocery section that even stocks fresh produce. The wine/liquor/beer selections are very impressive for most liquor stores. I know what you are thinking…“sure, but it is probably expensive.”. Wrong. It may be a few dollars higher than your chain grocery stores, but you would waste gas getting to those places when we can walk here. The staff is always friendly and dressed nicely which is appreciated. It shows they take pride in their business. I’m glad this place exists as once you are parked near the beach, who wants to get back in the car to go to the store? Not this girl!

Why are there five guys behind the counter dressed as if they work for a credit union, and why are these dapper gentleman so unfriendly? I don’t know. But there’s another liquor store a few hundred feet farther south where you can go and receive friendly service(hi, Zack!!!) and buy your poison without the negativity, So that’s exactly what you should do.

I’ve lived in the area for 7 years. I feel like every time I walk through the sliding door, I’m greeted by glares and strange negative energy. If you don’t like your job or you cant quite grasp the concept of customer service. get another job. Good sandwiches but overpriced. $ 6.44 for a pre made sandwhich??? Many items don’t have prices on them so I guess it’s whatever they want to charge you that day, usually over priced. Good selection of wine, chips, and snacks. I stop in if I really need something quick or I don’t want to drive any further. But unfortunately it’s never been a great experience. It’s always an uncomfortable transaction and they don’t seem appreciative of my business.

The store owner is a Sommelier so needless to say they have a handsome wine selection. I chatted with the manager for like 30 min and found out a lot of fun facts. As a guy who regularly orders cases of wine from as far away as New Jersey, I know a good bottle when I see one. These guys have a boat load. according to the fellas there they sell more bottles in the $ 10-$ 20 range than any thing else. They have some rediculously good value wines that definitely don’t suck. For example, Mark West Pinot Noir for $ 9.95! Say word? They sell this brand a literally every grocery store around $ 14 and sometimes as high as 20 bucks. High end wine lover? Have no fear. Crest is just a Stags Leap away. Lol.(The pros’ll know) Also snagged a 12 year Glenmorangie aged in port casks as well as one aged in Sauternes casks a few months back. Very fine quality Scotch I must say.

I’d heard about how great the deli was here so I thought I’d pop in today. This is a review of the deli only. 3 wiseguys run the cash registers. Slicked back hair, tacky ties, arms folded; they resemble bail bondsmen from any 80’s action cop movie. I got the ‘who the F are you’ stare down immediately when I asked if the deli was open. So great! I wanted to play along. But I have to ask: is this look/attitude really necessary in a PB liquor store? Does this place get robbed a lot or something? Maybe I’m just old school for thinking that when someone puts a sign up that says«Deli» and«Fresh Deli Items daily» it implies that a human is making the sandwiches to order? There’s actually a deli kitchen and service area inside that gives off the appearance that there ‘might’ be someone available to take an order. Sadly there’s only a small selection of pre-made sandwiches. After all the great things I’d heard: Bum-out of century. I got the ham, turkey & cheese on an onion cholla roll. I have to say it was pretty good even without condiments. But damn, if yer in the mood for mayo n mustard… FUGGEDABOUTIT!
