RESPONSETOKEN F. 1STARREVIEW Social media sites such as Unilocal are useful platforms for delivering one’s personal views and experiences in the hope it will help others make wise choices, or avoid bad ones. Sometimes they’re used as a soapbox to broadcast personal vendettas that have nothing to do with the purpose of the review site. Unfortunately, I believe that’s what Ken has done with his review. Here’s my take, and response to Ken… Ken, It’s unfortunate you’ve chosen Unilocal as the medium to handle what is clearly a falling out between two people who’ve know each other for years. However since you’ve posted this in a public forum, I’m obliged to give my two cents as a third party. There is no doubt you received nothing short of miraculous results training with Steve. Like myself and others, you wrote a testimonial singing his praises. If fact, it was YOUR testimonial and impressive before and after pictures on Steve’s website that played a huge role in me wanting to work with Steve. I wanted to get the same results you got. Then there’s the obvious. If Steve, as you say, «doesn’t know how to motivate, train and work with clients that may be diverse,» how then did you achieve such an amazing physical transformation and why did you continue to employ him as your trainer… for three years? You got awesome results, like the rest of us, that’s why. Just as your testimonial and before and after pictures clearly demonstrate. Yes, you did contribute to Steve’s Bulgarian Bag training videos along with myself and many others. All of us happily volunteered because we got results using the Bag. Everybody had a great time making the videos, you included. I know this because I filmed and edited nearly all of them. The comments about Steve’s girlfriend… Really? I’ve spent a lot of time working with Steve and I’ve never heard him make a comment to that effect… not once. All I heard was how grateful he is for the time she puts into the business after working a full day at her regular job. Even though I’m calling BS on your review, it’s clear you’re upset about something. I don’t believe it has anything to do with training or results because I’ve seen what Steve’s done for you, myself and others. Your best bet… pick up the phone and work this out with Steve. Writing a post like this is petty, and people who know better are going to call you out on it. Best, David

I trained with Steve Nave for several years. I paid him over $ 3,000 per month and he constantly put me down and was out for his own agenda. I was in the video for the bulgarian bag and did it as a favor. I do not believe personally in his ability to motivate, train, and work with clients that may be diverse. He has an amazing girlfriend that has been treated not well for her contribution. I got tired of hearing how much she did not contribute to their success. If you are looking for a good trainer, go to Fit downtownl

Steve is not just a good trainer, but a world class fitness professional. If you ever have the chance to train with him, I suggest you jump at the opportunity. I have worked with Steve for 3 plus years and have been transformed in number of ways both physically and mentally. Training with Steve is like attending a graduate level psychology/biology/chemistry/kinesiology combo class while at the same time continually being driven past your breaking point. Steve’s training technique is a balanced approach using a wide variety of tools, the most unique tool in his arsenal is by far and away the Bulgarian Bag. No matter how fit you are the bag will humble you. If you’re curious about training with Steve or the Bulgarian bag, you should check out his website . He has a ton of great information and videos demonstrations. If you do end up training with him, I dare you to beat my record of puking at least once during or after our first 13 sessions. «Nobody said it was going to be easy.»
