I was in a circumstance where I had to refinance, even though it wasn’t at the ideal time for me. I initially went to my bank (one of the larger players), figuring that given their size and product offerings I’d get the best deal with them. Everything seemed like it was going well at first until I found out I’d have to come up with a significant amount of money up front and would end up with a slightly higher monthly payment. Fortunately around that time, I was introduced to Clay through a friend, and he was a Godsend! He explained options to me that I didn’t know where available and carefully explained the pros and cons of the options. Bottom line I ended up with a slightly lower payment but would be getting a nice chunk of money back as well that I can use to pay down some higher interest debt! Clay is friendly, kept the process running smoothly with frequent (but not annoyingly frequent) updates, and within a little over a month it was settled. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
