Got a quarter chicken with 2 sides and a drink for $ 12 total. I’d say the food is okay. Probably could do better with the food portion to price ratio, but overall its«okay».

Came in after the rush and had a chicken sandwich. At first the sandwich looks tiny since I eat a lot and paid $ 8 but the slice of chicken was huge. Sauce they give on the side was bomb too.

The chicken is super dry and has no flavor. You’re better off going to one of the other restaurants in the shopping center.

Third visit. Just as uninspiring as the first. Chicken is easy to cook and their menu is simple; however they cannot execute on it. Bland, bland, bland… chicken lacks flavor and juice. Also, bugs me how they bark you through the line… calm down please. Never.again.

I have never had anything but wonderful experiences here. I’ve tried the family meals, salads and plates, and almost every side, and every single thing has been fantastic. I think people get mad because it can be a bit pricey, since in comparison can go to a fried chicken place and get a meal for $ 5. Go ahead; get your fried chicken, powdered mashed potatoes and fake cheese Mac and cheese or basic corn. Here, you might pay $ 10 for yourself, but the quality is worth it. You want a huge plate of healthy, good quality food, you might pay a little more. You want something fast, easy and cheap, go somewhere else. You want something fast, easy, and good quality, come on in. You get what you pay for. Personally, I don’t mind spending $ 10 on a ¼ chicken plate. I did today and got a thigh, leg, big pile steamed brocolli and two medium baked sweet potatoes. Healthy, delicious, and something I would make at home. Better yet; I had it in front of me before I finished paying. Find me a traditional fast food restaurant that’s going to do that for me? Supply me a home cooked quality meal in under a minute? That’s healthy? Get out of here with your complaining. Keep your crap quality food; you’ll find me at Chick’s!

I work in the area and frequent this place. It’s not only convenient to my office but the chicken is outstanding! In fact, I’m eating yesterday’s left over today and it’s still awesome. The meat is delicious and falls off the bones every time! I also get either the brown rice or mashed potatoes, which by the way are yummy, and the steamed broccoli. It may not be the healthiest meal in town but it’s certainly one of the most flavorful. Not to mention the great service you get when there too. Very friendly ass-kicking staff.

tried them twice, both times the chicken was rubbery. Natural doesn’t need to mean boring.

i’m super sick of hearing people rave about this place. just because«natural» is in the name doesn’t make it «healthy». i’m the lone vegetarian at work, so my opinion is on everything besides the chicken. it all tastes like cheap frankenfood. like plastic. real food is embarrassed. the vegetarian burrito is a brick of gross. heart attack wrapped in a tortilla. it’s what white trash from some mid-western state would consider a burrito. baked beans, spanish rice(fluffy orange weirdness) and cheddar cheese. comes with sour cream in a sealed packet like ketchup. super classy. all the salads and vegetables are flavorless food facsimiles. anyone touting their merits must have only ever only eaten vegetables from a can and probably has scurvy. it makes me sad that people enjoy this stuff, because it means that they have never experienced food with flavor and their ignorance is perpetuating this offense they call food to the detriment of real healthy food. also, since they didn’t specify and most caeser salad dressing is made with anchovies, the«vegetarian meal» shouldn’t be offering a caesar salad. pretty obvious sign they don’t know wtf they’re talking about.

Had the chicken sandwich here yesterday. Not really impressed. Guy pulled the chicken breast out of a drawer. Shouldn’t it come directly from the grill that they tout?

I appreciate a small business trying to make a go of it, but in southern cal that means you have to have some items on the menu without sugar. The owner wasn’t sure if their in house Caesar had sugar, but every other dressing, including their balsamic and their house Italian did have. After I took the Caesar on a gamble, he did let me know that it does have sugar. I appreciate knowing but it left me with no option. He has no balsamic, no oil, nothing. I just don’t understand how a restaurant survives like that this day and age. I could tell the manager or business owner really cared about what he was doing, so I appreciated that. Still I think healthier options would give them a more loyal clientele.

I really like this place. I always get the ½ chicken and 2 sides to share. The Spanish rice is really good, it’s not really traditional Spanish rice but the flavor is good. I could do without the peas and carrots though, seems like an afterthought adding those in. I usually get the steamed veggies. A lot of people say that the steamed veggies are hard. But I think it’s perfect, I don’t want to eat mushy vegetables. Food is all about the contrasts of flavors/textures. The corn bread is a little on the dry side. Its unfortunate, I feel as though a lot of the reviews are from people who only go during the lunch rush and try it out because it’s a big business area. So not many of the reviews are that great. But since it is in the business area not many people would go out of their way to eat here. I used to live close by, and I would come here when I was craving it. I avoid coming during lunch, I do understand the struggles of coming during that time. Now I live a little further south and I do still crave this place because the chicken is really good. And a healthy alternative to fried chicken. But it’s so far away now, I still get food once in a while since my parents work in this area and I get lucky enough for them to bring some home

Lunch on a Thursday, got a ¼ white chicken plate with sweet potato and spanish rice. My food was ready before I even paid, so that was kind of nice. The chicken was the best part. I like the crispy skin =) The sides were bleh. They give you a pretty big portion of spanish rice, I couldn’t finish it. The sweet potato was wrapped in foil with the skin on. I was surprised to see sweet potato as a side, that’s rare. There are about 4 – 5 tables for inside seating.

I was in a rush and needed to grab a quick lunch so I pulled into this food court and decided to try this place after seeing«fire roasted chicken». I was expecting to see racks of rotisserie chickens slowly rotating over an open flame but sadly I did not. The food itself was decent but just nothing memorable for me. My dad and I both got the same order; ½ dark meat chicken with spanish rice, steamed veggies, and jalapeño cornbread. When I get rotisserie chicken I love it when the get the chicken fresh from the oven and cut it up to order. This place did not do that. All of the chickens are pre-cut and are kept hot in a steamer or something. The chicken was still very moist and juicy and had great flavor but my favorite part of eating rotisserie chicken, the skin, was very soggy since it had been sitting in a steamer. I’m not a fan of soggy chicken skin. The sides were pretty eh. The veggies were pretty basic steamed veggies and the rice was ok. Kind of bland for me. The jalapeño cornbread was just cornbread. I don’t think there was any jalapeño in it nor was there and jalapeño flavor so maybe they gave us the wrong one? The ½ chicken meal is almost $ 12 so it is a bit on the pricier side. The service here was ok. Food came out quick. Nothing to rave about. Overall an ok place that made ok chicken.

I’ve never been so confused by an experience. I’ve come here twice for lunch before and had a bad experience with the food. In an effort to give it another shot, I came in and left with no food — this time the problem was with the customer service! My order was very simple. I wanted a chicken, veggie and rice bowl with no rice. The employee working said — I cant do that, but I can give you a plate with sides of veggies. I didn’t want that, and reiterated that I want a bowl, or asked him if he could simply put in a bowl for me instead of a plate. He said no. Rule #1 of customer service — make the customer happy. If I want my meal in a bowl instead of a plate(both of which are the same price btw), this should be simple right? I asked for clarification several times, but no budge. I asked to speak to a manager and that’s when things really got strange. He wouldn’t get him! He said he’s very busy and cant talk to me. I asked him to let him know I’m waiting and he didn’t move. Another employee softly told me that it wouldn’t be a good idea to speak to a manager, almost with fear in her eyes. Fear of what? It’s a bit concerning — who is running this place? I asked if they’re not allowed to serve it in a bowl, and he said it’s not that he’s not allowed, but it’s a no. Again I ask to speak to the manager and he goes to the managers door and makes some obscene rolling his eyes gesture and comes back and says he’s very busy and that’s that. At the end of the day — all of this boiled down to the principle. I left and will be taking care of this issue. A manager should never hide from customers, and employees should at least have some respect to their customers… not to mention — should not be fearful of their manager. A large failure on your part Chicks Natural. It’s a true shame.

I absolutely love Chick’s. I don’t work near here so i don’t go here out of necessity or proximity. I understand what the other reviewers have said, because I think most of them are there in the lunch rush. I don’t go at lunch time and my food is always prepared for me as I enter, rather than sitting in a warmer waiting. The staff at night when I’m usually there is awesome and I am there so much they always chat with me. I’ve tried a couple items but my absolute favorite is the Chicken Rice Bowl. I absolutely love the ginger sauce that comes with it. And they give you enough meat, rice, and veggies for about two meals. Love it and I’ll be back sometime this week.

I love this place! I love how if you go on the website you can get the nutrition information as well. I usually order boneless skinless chicken breast or the chicken breast sandwich and I always love both! The chicken breast are so big and cooked well I didn’t give them 5 stars because I have been receiving my baked beans a little cold which is weird because I have been eating here for months! Anyways this is a good healthy choice and it’s right next to Jamba Juice

Great quality food, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service! We went in before they were scheduled to open and they were gracious to serve us. Loved the chicken burrito. Their homemade cornbread fresh out of the oven is amazing.

Stopped here for lunch as «fire roasted chicken» sounded really good to me. I ordered the ¼ white meat chicken plate that came with two sides(I chose Spanish rice and green salad). They only had diet sodas to choose from and I got a diet Mountain Dew which I’d never had before and never will again(Yuck!). I guess they want to promote themselves as «healthy». As mentioned, I ordered white meat which consisted of half a breast and the most minuscule and meatless wing I’ve ever seen. The chicken skin had a very tasty seasoning. The chicken meat was rather dry but it was okay. The salad was fine but nothing special as was the rice(although I’m not a big fan of the big slices of carrots and peas they put in their Spanish rice). No restrooms in this eatery; they share a restroom with other restaurants in this strip mall. The only word that describes the restroom is «repulsive». Also, there are only 3 or 4 tables inside so you most likely will have to eat at one of the outdoor metal tables, few of which have umbrellas. So it’s a bit miserable eating in the blistering sun and even worse when an occasional wind blows, scattering your napkins across the nearby parking lot. I suggest you order to-go.

I’ve had more awful experiences with Chick’s Natural than I have good, and never a fantastic one. I use this business for work often and they are so rude, every single time. The owner comes into our business to deliver food, which would be a nice personal touch, but he is always impatient, is disrespectful to our receptionist who is expected to notify people when the food is delivered, and has changed the delivery amount multiple times. Our business was initially promised that we would never be charged for delivery, then once had the nerve to charge $ 50. The restaurant is only 2 miles away from my business. Give me a flippin’ break. To knit-pick, the«steamed» vegetables are crunchy and hurt my teeth. Personally, I have never enjoyed the chicken, but I do like the mashed potatoes and jalapeño corn bread, which is why it gets two stars instead of one. And finally, they don’t have an ingredients list available. Serving a big group of people is a challenge and I often have to cater to many dietary restrictions. I went in earlier this week to order food for a small meeting and was refused an ingredients list. Not to mention, I tried to call the order in and saw on their site that you’re not allowed to phone in orders between 11am-2pm. What? Anyway, when refused the ingredients list, I said«I’m not trying to steal a recipe for chicken, I am trying to assist allergies» and that received a «well we just don’t have one» response. I expected the food to be made with natural ingredients given the restaurant’s name, and that shouldn’t be hard to document. I thought there was a law about this somewhere, anyway? There are a lot of improvements that this business could make, and they could simply start by improving professionalism. The price is reasonable, but food like this isn’t really expensive anywhere.
