I’m not really the type to review a gas station but this one has stickers on the gas pumps asking for Unilocal reviews so I will oblige. It is one of the few places to get gas downtown. And it is right along the entrance to the 5 North on First Ave, making it convenient for some. But it can be dangerous getting in and out of with people booking it to the freeway entrance. Plus, for some reason, people take their sweet time here and the cars get backed up quickly. There should be signs for people to park somewhere else besides the gas pumps if they only want the convenience store. This gas station isn’t really an option if you need to get on the 5 south unless you want to add a lot of time to your trips. Being on a one way street just past the 5 South ramp, it’s kind of a tease for those folks, unfortunately. Happy it’s here in a pinch, but not my favorite.

Worst cashiers ever. Cashier didn’t tell me that I needed to pay with cash or debit for lottery ticket, then refused to accept credit card for other items unless I used debit card to pay for lottery ticket too. Good thing gas stations at this location go out of business on the regular.

Okay place to get gas. The one note: the gas pumps have NO give. In a jam(as I was here), I can usually go to a pump on the opposite side of my gas tank and pull the pump over as I have a Mini Cooper. Nope, not here. So try to find a pump on the same side as your tank.

Today I almost lost my mind at this Chevron. Why is it always a total CF here at odd times of the day? Is it because it is on an incline? I really do not understand it. Anyway, if you come here pay attention because people will pop out of all sorts of weird places in front of your car.

Gasoline? Nah, ill pass on that… not, pass gas! The last time i put gasoline in my BMX, it didnt go so well for me. This spot is good for 2, maybe 3 things. Cheap cheap cigarettes, use of a restroom, and the occasional 99cent Arizona Green Tea can! Staff is generally cool and friendly in here, but there was one time dude attempted to charge me for an EMPTY coffee cup! Ahhh, how i heart thee… big oil corporations!
