I WISH I HADMOREHANDSTOGIVETHEMMORETHUMBSDOWN!!! Oh yeah, this place has less talent than a WNBA dunk contest!!! this place is small, there seems to only be one person working there, the service is pretty limited due to the fact they don’t have any employees. I wonder how there still in business I only ate there because I was hungry and they were the closes establishment around that was open at the time… I always wonder to myself if places like this partake in some illegal activities and is the place itself is a cover for something else. I don’t know just food for thought I guess

AWFULAWFULAWFUL!!! I placed a catering order well in advance and received confirmation that it would be done. The day of the lunch ONEHOUR before the event they called and said that they could not complete the order because they had no chicken! They knew about this luncheon and didn’t bother to order the meat for it!!! They couldn’t notify me any sooner?!! They managed to deliver a small part of the order, late, and it wasn’t even what I had ordered and tasted like crap. The meat was full of bones, it was greasy and didn’t even remotely resemble the dish I had actually ordered. It was obviously left over meat and bones from their scrap pile. I was so embarassed putting it out but I had nothing else to offer. They assured me that more food was coming but then called yet again to say that they had locked their keys in the car so they couldn’t open the restaurant to make the rest of the food — HUH? Who runs a business like this? I ended up having to supplement the order from another restaurant at the very last minute(Bombay Coast and it was delicious wish I had ordered from them to begin with!) They did the best they could considering the time given but of course by the time it arrived most everyone had left the lunch. When I called Café Kashmir back to complain the woman on the phone was extremely rude and suddenly — in mid-conversation mind you — claimed to speak no English, only Spanish. Spanish? Odd coming from a person with a Middle Eastern accent who had just been speaking to me in English moments before. I work for a company of over 7,000 people. Kashmir could have earned themselves a nice little recommendation and client base but man did they blow it! Well done Café Kashmir! I would give ZEROSTARS if I could. Awful food, awful service. It just doesn’t get any worse than this.

Kashmiri is a way to say they make Pakistani and North Indian food. But often there is only one person working behind the counter. The kitchen is tiny and the place is basically underdeveloped and unable to produce much variety of dishes. But if you get just one thing here it will be pleasantly acceptable. They also have one of those services where you can arrange for meals to come regularly to your home or office or whatever. The décor is sparse with red ceiling fans and small framed photos on the wall. If they are out of Coca Cola, as they were when we visited on a weekday night, you can just walk across the strip mall to the liquor store and get it. Friendly service. I hope that in 2008 this restaurant becomes a wonderful satellite to Little India, which it is less than a block away from.
