Great place to get my morning bagel and afternoon acai bowls! The best!

You know you’ve made something of yourself if you work in this business park. I work a few blocks away so I obviously have some work to do. — Café Fusion is a tented semi-permanent coffee and pre-made sandwich shop serving the Big Oil and Big Law companies in this area. Sandwiches, soup, and wraps, are provided by Café Lohoma witch provides food products to many of the UTC coffee carts and stands. — I picked up a Chai Tea Latte(based on reviews) and found it to be too sweet for my style. They use a boxed chai mix, which is common, but perhaps there was too much. I couldn’t drink it all and ended up putting in the work fridge and enjoyed as a late afternoon dessert. — Service was perky and brisk. — If you don’t work here, and it’s in walking distance, you should come here just to check out the large concrete lake and tropical landscaping.

The best Latte in all of San Diego county !! Love their specialty coffee drinks, sandwiches, and more. If you work or live in the Golden Triangle, you need to visit. Once you go Café Fusion, it will be very hard to go anywhere else after that. Kudos to the crew !

This little, out of the way kiosk is my very fave coffee/tea/snack place in my area. Worth going there if u are in the area. The products ares exceptionally good quality and the customer service is always excellent — a winning combo. Plus, the setting is quite nice, with the large water feature. And very nice bathrooms are even avail in the adjacent ofc bldg.

I went here because people said the acai bowl is good. Definitely not. Too much honey… too frozen… bland. Go to Juice Kaboose in La Jolla for the real deal… for the same price you get double the amount!!!

I’ve been going here at least 4 – 5 times per the week the last several years! They have a great selection of coffee and teas and are priced well! The staff are also super friendly! Definitely my pick over any other local chains. I love this coffee cart and am so happy they are just steps away from my office!

Surprisingly good coffee from a small little cart on the campus of Scripps. I’ve been sitting here a few hours waiting for my next meeting and it seems like a popular attraction here. They’ve been playing out-dated 90s rock all day(NIN, RHCP) but«Bro’s Hymn» just came on which made it all better.

A great and nice place. My co worker loves there lattes, and I love there acai bowls! Thats a must GET!!! They have high quality products here compared to a Starbucks. There danishes and cookies are very good! They also have muffins as well. They also have sandwiches and juices on the side as well. I enjoy getting tea there also, they have a wide variety of tea selection there. I got my passion black team which i really enjoyed. I am a team person and they have pretty much every tea that you could want. They have quick service and are pretty good at getting your drinks ready on a timely matter. They do close early during the week at like 3pm so make sure you go get your morning tea/coffee or your lunch tea/coffee break. There location is great, right in the middle of everything and you can pull right up for parking. Good customer service is always a PLUS!

Café Fusion has ruined chai tea lattes for me! I used to get them everywhere I went, but now that I’ve had the world’s best at this wonderful little coffee cart, I constantly find myself annoyed to be wasting time, money, and calories on sub par beverages at other coffee houses. Now, the chai tea lattes alone deserve 5 stars, but the friendliness and efficiency of the staff puts café fusion over the top. They are all personable and fun, yet aren’t too peppy before my 7am Monday Meetings. The only downside is that they’re only open Monday-Friday and close up shop at 3. My chai tea latte cravings are now forced to coincide with those operating hours. Bah Humbug!

VERY overpriced, but that’s because they can. They’re located in the middle of a bunch of office buildings, and all of their customers are workers in the buildings. We go there because it’s the only thing we can walk to and grab a bite to eat. We go there when we don’t have many options, not because it’s something we really like. I always get their mexican mocha, and jalapeño cheddar bagel. They charge for cream cheese, which I think is rediculous. Sometimes you get the individual bag of cream cheese which is nice, but sometimes they have the tiny cups and they charge the same as the bags! not cool. Anyways I am glad they are there because I love having a place to go to when I need to break from staring at my computer screen, but if they were opened anywhere else they wouldn’t do so well.

Reviews have focussed on this Café’s drinks, but there are also grab-n-go sandwiches and salads. I came with a bunch of colleagues for lunch and thought that my Bombay Chicken Salad was A-OK. I also ordered a macchiato, which is one of the drink options on their espresso menu. The personnel seemed pretty much unfamiliar with this particular beverage, but they managed well enough under the circumstances. Café Fusion struck me as a notch or two cheaper than the gourmet food trucks, and there aren’t all that many options in the immediate area. I definitely want to echo comments to the effect that the people who work here are very nice!

Five stars for what it is: a coffee cart. I generally have pretty low expectations for coffee carts, cynical as I am, and Café Fusion definitely exceeded my expectations. I went here because it is close to UCSD and is not Starbucks(I refuse to go to Starbucks for any reason), and I was so pleasantly surprised. Location is a little awkward for me as a student, but it makes a lot of sense considering it is in the middle of a bunch of offices. The workers are friendly and efficient and know their stuff. Prices seem a little high, but not too bad I guess. And even that is forgotten upon drinking their smooottthh espresso and perfectly foamed milk. MMMM it made me in my finals week stupor quite a happy person and much less zombie-like. Finally, I have found a good place in UTC for coffee! My advice: come here rather than settling for the chain stuff.

Amazing soy chai lattes served from a kiosk café located in the middle of a corporate campus. Soy chai lattes are much more rich, delicious, and flavorful than those at corporate chains. Greatly enjoy supporting small, local businesses — especially when they offer higher quality products, are much closer, and are less expensive than Starbucks and the like. Location of Café Fusion in the middle of a business park, hidden from most people other than those working nearby, keeps the lines short and the service quick. A few varieties of Caffé Calabria coffee as well as several flavors of loose leaf tea available. Plenty of appetizing pastries such as Danishes, cookies, muffins, etc. Fridge stocked with a number of flavors of Naked Juice, sandwiches, etc. Overall, lovely place for those working nearby to grab some delightful caffeine drinks and light eats.

I stumbled upon Café Fusion when I was searching for a U.S. Bank location in La Jolla. The kiosk is right outside the building, and I recognized it as the one I’d read such great reviews about on Unilocal. I’ve only had latte’s here, but they’ve always been really, really good. They get their espresso from Café CaLabria which is a plus because it’s flavorful in itself. As for the milk, they always steam it perfectly. There’s never bubbles and the foam connects to the milk just like it’s supposed to. Four stars right there. The fifth star comes from the good service and CHEAPPRICES. The people who work there seem like really chill, friendly people. Not so overly perky that it seems fake. And $ 2.25 for a small latte??? How could I NOT want to go here everyday?

This place was great when i used to work in the building. its kind of something exclusive. its hard to get to by car because of the parking structure. but its hidden under the stairway like a magical place like how Narnia is hidden like that… or tarabithia… ANYWAYS. its a good place to stop and eat when you’ve spent all of your time on your lunch break running errands. yea… it sucks to be an adult. but anyways, other than that. if you go at the same time everyday, you see the same exact people… everyday… NOM x 5

Café Fusion has broken me. I quite literally can no longer drink the now sub-par drinks available at Starbucks or Tully’s. Café Fusion’s non-fat chai tea lattes are delicious and addicting, their selection of baked goods is impeccable, and their wide variety of natural and organic lunch options is perfect for people who don’t have much time to waste on their lunch break(ie, me). This modest little kiosk is the perfect mix of quality products, customer service, and reasonable prices. Plus, the owner is practicing sustainable business practices by providing organic products and recycling or reusing damn near anything she can. Props to the owner, Michelle, for running a wildly successful and beloved local business. Keep it up!

I really like this place. The owner is a hottie and she is fun to chat with. The drinks are amazing and from what I hear, they are opening another location soon. Its great coffee and nice change from the chain coffee joints. Drink up…

A tiny part of me doesn’t want to rave about how awesome Caf Fusion is for fear that everyone in the UTC area will flock to it. The thing is, I’ve never gotten over growing up poor and when I find something great, I don’t necessarily like to share it. That said, Caf Fusion is about the most adorable little coffee kiosk I’ve ever seen. It’s clean, well stocked, and offers plenty of options for both breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly and personable. They remember names and drinks like a good bartender… minus the uncomfortable knowledge of what I may or may not have done after one too many cocktails. Caf Fusion is truly a ray of light in an otherwise bland corporate world.
