Cabinet Point

Roger came to my home and spent a great deal of time with me going through all my options and offering me terrific outside the box ideas for updating my kitchen cabinets. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and thoroughness in everything he covered with me. For personal reasons (having nothing to do with my house), I ended up not going forward with this project but had I continued on, I would have chosen to go with Cabinet Point. The no dust, no mess concept is really remarkable!!!

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced by Cabinet Point several years ago and the doors near the sink area (where they come into contact with occasional water) started to buckle and peel right away. By now, they look pretty horrible. Last year i took pictures and sent them to the contact who had done our work. He said maybe there was something they could do to fix them. I figured that even if they charged me for repairs, I was going to have them fixed anyway so they might as well look at them. I could never get him to respond to me after I sent the pictures. My guess is he was horrified by the finish and just wanted us to go away. Yes, Cabinet Point was significantly less expensive than their competitors, and they had good online reviews. But in retrospect, I do suspect you get what you pay for. And kitchen cabinets are not simply decorative, they really have to be functional and stand up to a working kitchen. The refacing we had done prior to Cabinet Point lasted at least 20 years, but this time around we thought we had found a better deal.

When evaluating our options for a kitchen remodel, we decided that the best approach would be to demolish our entire kitchen and start fresh. We went to Lowe’s, Home Depot and several local vendors. We wanted all wood boxes and had a specific design and color in mind. My husband found Cabinet Point on the internet. Their photos looked nice so we met with them, toured their manufacture area and learned how they made the cabinets and the endless options that we had.
Needless to say we panicked a bit before signing the contract. It was a gamble that more than paid off — they priced lower than the other vendors but it was still a lot of money. They finished the installation of our dream kitchen yesterday. The result was so remarkable I that felt compelled to share this amazing company with the rest of the world. They were not listed on Unilocal so I have added them (hope they dont mind).
