Paulo is an excellent massage therapist who has provided sports massage for some of the top women soccer players in San Diego. I have been the team massage therapist for the 2013 WPSL National Champion San Diego SeaLions and Paulo has helped provide sports massage for the players at several of their training sessions.

I have had numerous hours of massage training as a practitioner, so I have given and received my share of massages. There are some places you go where the massage therapist uses a traditional routine they have memorized, and doesn’t focus on your specific problems– Then there are other places/​people who can feel/​sense/​intuit what certain areas on your body need. The therapists at Brazilian Zen massage are the second type– They customize the massage to you, and the best part is, you don’t even have to know what you need. I came in and didn’t ask for any specific areas, but my therapist went right for a spot that had been troubling me for a few days, without even knowing. I felt so rejuvenated and relaxed after (even though it was a very stressful time for me, planning my wedding, work, school, etc!) I love how every massage includes multiple modalities, depending on what your body tells them it needs. Also, the hot stones feel amazing. I have now had massages with both therapists, and these guys really know what they are doing!
