Ilham does really great eyebrow threading too… not too thin since I prefer to go in the Brooke Shield direction! I’m nervous to let most people do it but she’s really great and does a subtle job. I find the Henna so soothing and looks amazing on my hair too. I just wish they’d let me do root touch ups but they said it’d be too expensive and wouldn’t be consistent. I find it’s drying to do Henna more than every few months but it makes it stronger as long as I don’t overdo it.
They are really flexible and don’t mind when we bring my kids which is nice! Love to go out to eat for Dosa’s or Persian food while down there too!

It is my go to place for eyebrows and hair cut. Last time I went to get full hair color & cut. Thakki (pronounced as Dekka) was awesome! She gave the best haircut ever! I have got a lot of compliments and I can’t wait to go for my next haircut.

I haven’t tried any other services at Bombay Fashion but I’ll go no where and happily drive 20 mins to get my eyebrows done only and only from Ilham.

Thakaa has a great personality and is fantastic in her work. My eyebrows needed shaping and I couldn’t be happier!!! She certainly knows her game! I would highly recommend Thakaa to everyone.

Ilham is amazing. She can fix any eyebrow and hardly hurts. She’s available everyday (sometimes not on Wednesdays) and doesn’t really require appointments. The store is always clean and neat as well. Everyone’s warm and welcoming. I just go there for the threading services. Definitely go see her if you need your eyebrows done in San Diego.

My friend recommended this place to me, and given that I had heard that threading was better than waxing and it’s a 5 minute drive from home, I tried it and now am a loyal customer. I usually come on Fridays and have only done eyebrows with Ilham, and the longest I have waited to be seen was about 15 min, and that was only once. She is really nice and my eyebrows are shaped perfectly everytime.

Excellent customer service, truly remarkable. Owner was incredibly patient while I spent sooo much time deciding on an outfit. They really can work with any budget and the clothing and accessories were beautiful. I even had some threading done to buy some time while I made a decision and the girl who did my threading ended up helping me pick out my outfit and accessories. I was just buying a Halloween costume but will definitely be back for Indian formal wear! Worth the drive!

This business is actually two (or more) in one location. One side is mainly for hair and face (especially eyebrow) beauty services and the other is mainly for clothing. Everyone here is very friendly, patient, and helpful. If not sure about what you want or what will fit and look best, they are willing to let you take as long as needed trying out possibilities until you find something you like.

I recently moved to San Diego and was looking for a place to get my whole face threaded. I came across Herbal fashions and decided to try it. Ilham does a fantastic job ! She’s very attentive and conversational and I thoroughly enjoyed my Arabic lessons while getting a full face threading. Will definitely go back and partake of the other services offered

So my friend from school told me about this place after I asked him about where he got his brows done! He said ask for Ilham, as I did and she was fantastic! Plus $ 10 for brows? that’s a steal in San Diego! Gives you extra cash to tip nicely (if you like the service that is) will go back again for sure!

Ilham is the best one at this place. I come to her every two weeks and she always does a fantastic job with my eyebrows. She makes them look even because my right brow has a slow hair growth. No matter how many people she has, she takes her time with each customer. She is greatly appreciated! Thank you Ilham! She deserves a raise!

I came here to buy the top part of a salwar kameez outfit-​I believe it’s called a kurta. The staff was friendly and helpful-​unfortunately the kurta is very poorly made, at about $ 26 for no returns or exchanges. I’ve had it less than a month, have not washed it yet, have only work it once and it is already seriously unraveling everywhere. The steep price is not worth the poor quality and no returns policy.
