Awesome! Found this little spot for HUGE burritos. Recommend it for tasty, affordable, and thoughtful dining.

Ohmahgawd! Soooooo freaking tasty. I got a custom Jackfruit burrito with all sorts of filling. They have sooo many veggie options for no additional charge! Lots of vegan food — mock chickn, fake stake, tofu and BB Jackfruit. They also have ‘real’ meat and cheese so its great for omnivores, herbivores and vegans. I seriously can’t believe how good this burrito is. I’m eating is as I am writing this. That’s how good it is.

Didn’t expect the burritos to be this big! It was like a 2lb burrito, for a very decent price. It tastes healthy too! If I heard correctly, they don’t use oil in their cooking. They have vegan and vegetarian options, which is great. The staff are super nice as well and there’s a lil parking lot in front of the shop, which is a plus especially in that area.

Great alternative to a place like chipotle, a little healthier and more options! I wish I had seen the specials board before I ordered. Came on a Saturday afternoon, the place was dead. I ordered the bowl with a side tortilla, way too much rice and beans but hey that’s with most burrito places. Went for the carne asada, wasn’t anything special. What makes this place a gem is the veggie choices and they offer vegan options! I should’ve switched up my sauces, but they girl it to order! A bonus. Plenty of tables and a few outside, parking would be tricky if the lot outside were full. Also, they had Shirley temples in the soda fountain, flashback to my childhood!

They were so helpful and the burrito was soo bomb. I love their sauces the red one is my favorite, hot and delicious. Im usually picky but the food was so good and I didnt feel guilty after shoving the burrito down my throat! Yum!

This place is awesome! The burritos and bowls are great and the staff is super friendly. I usually get the papa bear bowl which is packed full of great ingredients and has an awesome flavor. They have a unique soda machine with flavors like snozzleberry and Shirley temple which also adds to this place being awesome.

This always hits the spot! Healthy and super fast. The couple I usually see who own it are super nice people and it’s fun to be in the shop. They both seem to be happy to do anything to make your food super yummy. Fairly priced, the options here are really endless, you could combine any of the TONS of ingredients to make a burrito, bowl salad salad/wrap and they have chips too! Love love it! Good job guys:) P. s. They now deliver!

So glad I found this place! Saw it on eat24 and decided to try for delivery. I got a rice bowl with all the veggies and carne. so good! The five alarm salsa is super spicy which is good so I didn’t have to add any extra spice. The veggies all tasted fresh and the Carne wasn’t tough. Bf got a burrito with the jalepeno tortilla, his words«wow this is a really good burrito» after the first bite. The delivery was super quick and there’s no minimum. Will DEFINITELY be eating here again!

I really liked this place! I appreciated the Cali-Mex style of these burritos with the veggies and still the sour cream/salsa. I got the papa bear but subbed the potatoes and corn with carrots and broccoli and it was delish! My boyfriend didn’t love it bc he doesn’t like things that aren’t 90% meat haha. However since I eat burritos for their salsa, I think if I were to try any of the other kinds, I’d have to get the five alarm salsa or whatever it’s called on it! Update: I must bump this place up to 5 stars. When I had it the first time, I didn’t realize just how much I love it. I freaking crave this shit! But I’m sad because I’m moving far, far away and am gonna need to find a new fix. Everyone please keep going here so it’s still there when I visit!

Similar to Chipotle where there are several types of meat, rice and other fillings, as much or little as you want for around $ 8. Unique selections and several veggie options. I went for the jackfruit«bbq pulled pork» burrito, the flavors simply amazing, so tasty, so different! I went with the spinach tortilla, brown rice and pretty much every add in you can get and loved it! My husband had the steak, not as great but still tasty! Service is great, I hope they do very well, the location is great and they have a few free parking spots right out front!

I’m going to start off by saying Bearito Republic uses some great ingredients for what they cook. I really like the shop, its concept and what it stands for. Sadly, I was pretty furious to wait over 30 minutes to get my order, which was simply chips with carne asada with pico(made fresh I’ll add). Yes, that’s correct, over 30 minutes. Nobody had ordered ahead of my group. 2 burritos, a bowl and chips with carne asada. But what was even better was the fact I paid $ 5 for a «nacho» portion that was less than a fun size bag of Lays potato chips. Needless to say, the customer service was completely lacking in almost all phases and though they were courteous, it was a nightmare. I’ll admit that the quality alone is reason to come here but the customer service combined with the prices just turns me away as I shake my head. Overall, Bearito Republic has amazing potential, and I’ll probably go back and am optimistic that I’ll give it a higher rating next time around because the food was that good. Hopefully, their prices and customer service will match it’s product next time around. So check it out for yourself and just be sure you’re not in a hurry because you never know how long it will take to get your food!

I tried this place out for lunch one day because it is right by my work and I was looking for something a little healthier than the tempting breakfast burrito I was craving. I checked out their menu and opted for the create-your-own burrito. Here’s what I got: Spinach tortilla, white rice, pinto beans, lettuce, onion, cilantro, jack cheese, salsa verde and avocado spread Sounds yummy, right? That’s what I thought, too! Unfortunately, it ended up tasting pretty bland and I was a little bummed. I have to think it was my fault though. I mean, I opted out of choosing a protein which may be just the thing this dream burrito was missing. Perhaps the flavor would have come from some chicken or steak! As a result, I will most definitely be back and this time, I won’t make the mistake of leaving out the protein. The service was really friendly and prompt and I enjoyed looking at all of the colored pictures on the wall.

Checked out this place last night — always excited to see new veg /vegan options — especially Mexican food because I live for spice, sauces and salsas. After reading about the pulled pork made out of jackfruit — I had to try it. Did not disappoint and what’s crazy is when I did eat meat years ago, I disliked pulled pork. This was flavorful, tender and I’m still wondering how they make it homemade everyday out of jackfruit!(And it’s gluten free!) Loved that I could create my bowl with all the veggies and sauces and extras I wanted and it was really good. The five alarm was great in heat and I loved the avocado sauce. My dining partner ordered the moo meat burrito and it was probably the only thing I didn’t quite care for that we had. The meat wasn’t really my thing — a little too chewy and not enough flavor. But he enjoyed it. I’m definitely coming back for more jackfruit and to try the baked tofu. Also, the owners are really nice and friendly and all the ingredients were fresh and you cant beat being able to get vegan food made your way. Hope this places does well.

This place is very promising with its healthy alternative offering and locally grown and sustainable organic ingredients. I stopped in and had the Green Thumb Burrito with grass feed organic sirloin, brown rice, black beans, peppers, broccoli, and avocado all tightly wrapped around a spinach tortilla( ). The burrito was good and came generously filled with all the ingredients( ). But it needed more flavor. I was not sure if was due to lack of seasoning or all the healthy ingredients in the burrito. The sirloin tasted pretty good, although it was a little over done, it was what stood out when it came to seasoning. The rice was very good and had that nice looseness that I like and tasted great. I think it was my favorite part of the burrito. The avocado was good, but it needed more, and the peppers and broccoli were well cooked and tender to the touch. I really liked the spinach tortilla it wrapped in. Also, I think if you get this burrito, ask for some cheese in it, I think that would help it along. The lady who served and made my burrito was quite nice. I liked that she took the time to explain the concept of the eatery, and she actually said I would feel good after I ate the healthy burrito and I did! I really like the concept here, and with a few tweaks here and there, I believe they will be well on their way. A solid 3.5…but more seasoning please.

R.I.P., Sloppy’s Burritos. I barely knew thee. But now you’re gone, and you’ve been replaced by… something eerily similar but not quite as satisfying. That would be Bearito Republic. They didn’t even redecorate after Sloppy’s left. Aside from the new mural of the bear from the California state flag, B.R. didn’t do anything to change up the(very Chipotle-esque) ambiance. I dropped by B.R. because I wanted to taste its meatless options. I’ve been on a flexitarian kick lately, so B.R.‘s pulled«pork»(actually jackfruit) sounded intriguing. I ordered it inside a «Fall Into It» burrito(wheat tortilla, brown rice, black beans, eggplant, zucchini, green peppers, jack cheese). Unfortunately, the burrito was thoroughly mediocre. The jackfruit was flavorful and savory, but all the other ingredients — especially the eggplant and zucchini were bland and overcooked to the point of mush. It didn’t help that the burrito was minuscule yet cost an eye-popping $ 8.50. I realize that fresh ingredients aren’t cheap, but that’s still too rich for my blood.(Maybe I should stick to the questionably sourced ingredients at Colima’s. At least I leave there feeling full.) B.R. gave me some consolation in the form of chips and salsa — free with Unilocal check-in. The chips tasted straight from a bag, but the chipotle salsa was fine. The verdict: Sloppy’s may be gone… but I’m not sold on B.R. yet.

A-OK Camilla is like me and super into bears. So when we peeped Bearito open up you know we had to go! Inside is pretty standard with the exception of various bear art colored in by patrons. Camilla had a great time coloring in her art and loved it so much she opted to hold onto it to get it appraised. The owners seem very friendly and they look like they are working hard. I like that they are local and trying to serve up healthy and quick meals. My great sadness was that the flavor was just not«there» when I ordered a jackfruit Get Down Bearito. The jackfruit doesn’t taste like pulled pork. It plain doesn’t. If you eat meat don’t expect jackfruit to be the same. However for veggies like myself it is a great alternative providing an earthy almost meat taste without a gluten type of substitute which usually hurts my tummy. The beans were not very flavorful. The Bearito lacked any depth or savory aspects that a BBQ flavor profile should have. Perhaps a better BBQ sauce would have helped. Honestly it really fell flat. The portion was alright but not worth $ 8.50. I guess if it had more flavor I would have handed them my paycheck. Chips and salsa were free and good. Thanks Unilocal check in! Portion was small so I was glad I didn’t buy it. I REALLY wanted to like this place more. Maybe I will check them out again and see if I just came on an off night. I hope so.

Sorry chipotle… But we are breaking up. Bearito republic is my new boo and go to Lunch spot. I can still get my usual bowl(or occasional borrito) for Lunch but now with any veggie I could want! Combine that with quality local ingredients, flavored tortillas, the amazing house made salsa(chunky red is the bomb!) and a creamy chipotle sauce… I’m sorry but there is just no comparison. So we are done chipotle… my former lunch love… This is just a better place for me. Better food, flavors and awesome local owners… I can’t ask for better. So while I may see you on the street, and we main still be friends that occasionally see one another… I just have to tell you… That we are done, I’ve moved on to Bearito republic… And so should everyone else.

This place is fantastic! Firstly, I’d like to mention that this place is not only vegetarian friendly but also VEGAN friendly(yes, this is important to point out), as well as gluten-free friendly. I arrived with the intention of grabbing a pizza at Project Pie next door, but changed my mind. I was lured in by the logo and healthy burrito concept. As I walked in, I was greeted by a couple(who I assume are the owners?) They offered suggestions and we had a lovely chit chat regarding their creations, including the shredded meat-like options made from jackfruit. I love jackfruit. Anyway, yes, I opted for their Get Down burrito with baked tofu. So Good. The fresh made, five alarm salsa in it burned so deliciously. Heat level, I’d say it was an American 10+, Messican 7⁄8. That salsa plays really well with the pineapple and bbq sauce found inside that burrito. Their chips are fresh made, served warm… very tasty and light. I tried it with their green salsa which had great flavor and would cool my palate from the hot salsa inside my burrito ha. Overall, the ingredients are fresh and homemade and you can see your food being made. All of their burritos come in other options(ie. salad and/or bowl form). The service was friendly and relaxed, and the environment casual… I mean, they even have coloring pages and crayons for you to work in while dining! Very cute… its all in the details. Definitely worth stopping by. As for their drink options, they have tea and fountain drinks from a natural, California brand called Batch — Craft Soda. I was suggested to give Snozzberry a try. A winner indeed. I’m already planning my next visit before driving home because, well, burritos are the perfect driving-friendly food: D Give them a try… support your local, small businesses! n_n

I got down on the yummy«Get Down» burrito with chicken, rice, beans, cooked pineapple(yes, it works), cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a jalapeño tortilla. Big portion. The gf ordered a make-your-own-salad with fake chicken spelled chik’n, and added carrots, broccoli, rice, and some more stuff. Loved it. Warning — get the serrano dressing on the side. Very flavorful, yet lip numbing. Here’s a «complaint» for ya: not enough lettuce? Bearito can be as vegetarian/vegan as you want/need it to be. There is a small front patio where we sat with the pooch and bonus, there’s parking!
