What a rad little café. Came in for lunch and was very impressed. The inside décor is sort of a modern rustic vibe. I ordered a salmon sandwich which was their spin on locks and bagels. Super good. Smoked salmon on ciabatta with pickled onions and sprouts. Killer hidden gem. When Con Pane is packed, check out this little joint. You won’t regret it!

Terrific little neighborhood European café, the food and coffee are fresh and flavorful. Nice outside tables and a nice area to play for the kids. Very sunny and pleasant atmosphere. The poached egg was delicious with fresh rocket and pickled onions. The bacon was crispy and flavorful. My cappuccino was very well done with a small homemade chocolate. I will be back! We came for lunch yesterday based on reviews. As we entered, there were only a few people so considering it was lunchtime, we were a little apprehensive. The menu selections all looked good, so we thought we’d give lunch a try. We ordered 2 of the paninis as well as the beet and blue cheese salad. All were DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is a bit cold, but it was nice to be able to talk casually without a lot of noise. Service was cordial, efficient and prompt. With curb and lot parking easy to find at lunchtime, this is a great place to grab lunch quickly or stay a bit if you have time.

I was at a 3-day training and all the breakfast and lunch were catered by Banyan Kitchen. I was so impressed with the quality of food served to such a large crowd. Most catered food are blah at best, but at Banyan Kitchen, it is truly a home meal experience. The food were fresh, healthy, and delicious. The friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary needs. If you are in the area and looking for something new and different, give Banyan Kitchen a try. I know I’ll be back to try this eatery the next time I come back to town.

I happen upon this place for a late breakfast during a good walk in Liberty Station. I was going to order an omelet, but when I realized I could convert my omelet into a sandwich, I sure did. The breakfast omelet sandwich came with bacon, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and spinach on a terrific multi-grain bread served along side a small salad for $ 8 and some change. I also ordered an iced coffee for a couple of dollars. The breakfast sandwich was quite good. The eggs were very well prepared to a light fluffy consistency and light seasoning as well. The mushrooms were tender and tasty, and so was the bacon, although it would of been nice, if it were a little more crispy. The spinach was a fresh sautée which was nicely cooked, except for a few ends that were overdone. The multi-grain was very good. I’m not sure what brand it was, but I hope they keep it. It had great flavor, but more importantly great texture. It was very moist and the light toast gave the exterior that perfect crunch and durability. Great breakfast. The side salad was light and fresh. I really liked the sweet and tart sliced strawberries. The arugula had a appealing peppery bite and the Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette was on point with the mild acidity of the lemon and mellow sweetness of the vinegar. The iced coffee was not only strong, but tasted very good. This is a very nice place. They serve breakfast and lunch and are located in the same building as Chi Chocolate. Nice people…

Just ordered from GH. Came on time and was pretty bomb. Only place open at like 730 this morning to bring me breakfast. Got a omelette, mocha, and some sausage and was not disappointed. The driver was nice enough considering I had missed his calls and he was driving away before I called him back. Will for sure be ordering again if I don’t have breakfast foods at home.

Online ordering does not work. Placed my order online through their website, then went to pick it up at the time they said it would be ready. When I got there, they had no clue that an order had been placed and had to hurry to make my sandwich. When I finally got it and opened it up back at my office, there was no cheese on it, which is like ¼ of the whole sandwich. I will not be returning. If they are charging $ 8 for a sandwich, then they really need to get their act together.

Banyan Kitchen is amazing! The food is delicious, inventive and comforting. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The space is modern, clean and inviting(it even has a kid’s play area). Banyan catering has exceptional food and the chef is more than willing to work with you on the menu, making it both original, personal and always delicious! Banyan catered our wedding and managed to represent both of our cultural cuisines(Filipino and Italian) perfectly. The friendly and professional staff made our big day effortless. We look back fondly on the family and food that made it such a special day, and Banyan catering was a big part of it. Go try it for yourself and you will see what I mean…

Do yourself a favor and drop by Banyan Kitchen. If you’ve enjoyed the espresso and chocolates from Chi Chocolat next door, you will recognize the same standard in this new venture by Jesse & Tess. Fresh, flavorful food in an airy, welcoming setting mean there always a reason to come back. Mine was a mozzarella pesto pannini this time!
