Called to make an appointment with Angela, and she was hostile – she made it clear she didn’t want me as a client. I’m not sure what provoked her, but I’m glad she wasn’t anywhere near my hair with scissors or bleach.

Angela is truly awesome! I am thrilled that I finally found a great person to do my hair. I immediately felt comfortable with her and knew I was in good hands. Angela takes a lot of pride in her work and is really knowledgable about her craft. She took extra time to mix and match the right color. I love my new cut and color! I highly recommend Angela!!!

I recently had my hair cut and a light balayage done with Chelsea and I can really say she made what is usually an arduous process for me a pleasure. Genuinely sweet and pleasant to chat with in this beautiful and relaxing setting was wonderful; Chelsea really took her time to ask what I wanted but also relied her expertise and instinct to make my hair look as wonderful as possible. This is by no means a cheap salon, but (even for a grad student) I felt the quality was well worth the price and I look forward to returning in the future!

Angela is great. I let my old highlights grow out a for a bit too long and she was still able able to tackle my dark roots and give me a gorgeous new ‘do. She’s funny, talented and professional. What more can you ask for in a stylist?

Angela is wonderful! Got a cut, color and my brows done, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s very nice, professional, has lots of experience– all in all, very pleased! Just moved to town and don’t have to search any further for a stylist!

Angela– I called in the morning to see if they had an opening and lucky for me someone had canceled! Angela got me in within an hour, and was AMAZING! I wanted a deep brown with hint of red and she hit the nail on the head! Not only did the color come out exactly perfect but she trimmed and cleaned up my layers! Overall I love my hair extremely satisfied! I would recommend her by far! beautiful person with a beautiful personality

MOLLY YOUNG. MOLLY YOUNG. MOLLY YOUNG. When booking an appointment ask for her! I have ALWAYS been more than pleased with my hair when walking out of the salon. I first went in with dark box colored hair and now I have a blonde balayage that I get compliments on ALL THE TIME! I was really nervous when first doing balayage and Molly listened to what I did and did not want. I went subtle and worked my way up to a more «drastic» balayage. I don’t trust anyone with my hair and I’m so glad I found someone who really listens to what look I want to achieve. That’s exactly what I look for, someone who I can express what I do and do not want. I trust and I highly recommend this artist!

Went to Genee upon recommendation and was not disappointed! She did a wonderful job with my highlights/​cut and was very knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend her and will be back for all my future haircuts/​coloring!

I won’t go anywhere else. I honestly won’t mention my stylist because I don’t want his calendar booked up anymore BUT he is amazing. If management sees this, maybe mention my name and he’ll know who I am with my locks of a lion. LOL. No one has been able to manage my long/​thick mane without complaint/​anger/​agitation/​aggression or dispute. It’s not fun and difficult to cut. I actually had a stylist in the past nearly insult me like it was my fault my hair was so thick and she was stuck cutting it. My guy here is amazing. He’s not only fun, charismatic and has a great attitude, but he’s professional and does AMAZING work. The price is up there with quality work… it’s worth every penny. I’ve never always been satisfied with my cuts and colors until now. It always looks completely natural and when it grows out… you can’t tell. Even when I went extreme blonde from brunette it was hard to tell because of how great he weaved in the color. The cuts are great, he takes a lot of weight off and it’s always perfect. My hero. Tried cheating to another stylist closer to home once and it wasn’t the same. Just booked again and can’t wait. I highly recommend the great staff, amazingly zen atmosphere and products (got some great hair lotion here).

I recently had a facial and an eyebrow wax with Irina, the esthetician. After a 90 minute session with her, my face felt fantastic. She certainly cares about the type of products she puts on her clients’ skin and she had answers to all of my questions and concerns. During my session she did extractions, and a very nice foot, hand, and neck massage with perfect pressure. My eyebrows look great as well. I definitely recommend her services.

I booked a second session after a successful first appointment last month. I wanted «balayage ombré» hair for the spring season. Unfortunately, I went to the salon and paid for lighter hair but inexplicably left the salon with darker hair.
My bill came up to $ 135 even without my 25% tip. I felt a little cheated having to pay that amount because my hair looked exactly the same after my hairdresser finished. It was actually a lot darker once everything was done so it was a giant step backwards.
After I mulled over my disappointment at home, I texted my hairdresser to let them know. They acknowledged that they over toned and were apologetic about the experience (which I appreciated). Since they’re not working tomorrow, they offered to come directly to my house to wash out the toner so it would lighten afterward. As kind of an offer as that was, for the price I paid and for sitting there for 4.5 hours, I expected a little more in terms of results. Perhaps my expectations were incorrectly set.
My hairdresser is incredibly nice, but will I be going back for my third session? Probably not — especially after paying close to $ 400 just to wind up with my naturally dark hair again.

The cut was great but 40 bucks for men’s haircut wow, I think is to much, and I don’t have long hair so It didn’t take long

Lauren has done my wife and daughters hair for the last 2 years. I finally got away from the barber, to a real cut and I like it. Thanks Lauren for keeping me and my girls looking good…

Great salon. I wish I could afford to get my hair cut here all the time. Unfortunately I don’t get out for less than $ 70 which is just too much for me.

Lauren Cates has been doing my hair for over 10 years and my husband’s hair for the past 4. She is EXCELLENT with trying new cuts and knowing what is trendy and what compliments you. I am someone who likes to change styles but hates change – contradictory, I know. But she has encouraged me to try new things, such as bangs or chopping off many inches from my hair. She is also an amazing colorist and makes certain you know how to properly care for your hair. If you do not buy the right product to keep your hair looking amazing after you leave her chair, it is your fault, not hers.
As for my husband, she has done an amazing job of using different styles on him (per his request). He always leaves her chair excited and tries to hand out her card to anyone he comes in contact with.
Great atmosphere that feels more like a giant family – not business and that was refreshing. Thank you, Bamboo.

Superb manicure!
Kristine Klugnes at Bamboo is a superb manicurist. She is using the new vinyl polish and it lasts for 2 whole weeks even with baby care and lots of hand washing! Kristine is fast, funny and delightful.

Really cool place to get your haircut. Very relaxing and cool architecture.
Steve has cut my hair many times and I’ve always been very happy with each haircut. I never have to wait and Steve and everybody there has a great attitude. I would definitely highly recommend this place.

It’s a rare thing when you find a stylist that is qualified, listens to you, and meshes with your personality.
I really like Erica, and not only that, but I don’t think that I have EVER received this many compliments about my hair. People stop me on the street to compliment it!
She’s amazing, funny and super good and what she does. highly recommended.
