Pierced twice? Ummm

Over-​priced and not very caring. I had my work done by Tarik and it was not an awesome experience since I walked in their. I didn’t know why I didn’t walk out but I guess I was trying to be optimistic anyway. I went in with a design and I wanted him to clean it up. After doing a sloppy re-​design, he’s pressuring me to just accept it. I told him I didn’t. Finally, I’m asked him to just accept my design and to tat that on me. The stencil looked great but he traced it incorrectly! Now my design is missing a little loop on the «e» and an extra mark to make the «r». When he was tatting me, he kept singing so he probably wasn’t paying attention. I called him and he said to come in when it heals. Honestly, I would rather just do something else with it later on then to come back to him because I just don’t trust what he’s going to do. Be aware that all the great reviews for this place don’t apply to everyone that works there. I went on the account of these reviews and am really disappointed. The guy didn’t even know what Unilocal so I should have saw that as a warning.

Just got back from getting an industrial piercing from here. I was super anxious about the pain but it barely hurt! Tony was my piercer as well as the manager, he answered any questions I had and even let me in on a secret. Join the mailing list and get 10% off. Its the best piercing experience i’ve had and I will definitely be going back for my future needs. For my piercing as well as the h2o spray it came out to only $ 53! Other shops around town quoted me $ 60 – 100 so I was glad to find a reasonably priced shop.

I was recommended this place by one of my friends. I went there with one idea of a tattoo for a coverup but he suggested a different idea and I loved it. For my skin tone, its hard to get certain colors but he gave me colors that other people wouldnt even try to use on my skin. I totally love my tattoo.
Another one of my friends got something across their whole back. The price was reasonable and the tattoo was very clean and percise.
Definitely would go back.

This is truly the best tattoo spot in SD, I have gotten 3 tats here and I’m currently getting a half sleeve done by Nate, the shop has an awesome feel with a sweet salt water fish tank that changes ever time I’m there plus super cool music Nate has every type of music so it’s not like some shops were they have the same stuff over n over, it’s also the cleanest shop I’ve ever seen I think there a lil OCD with cleaning but that’s a good thing to me, u now it’s quality when someone really loves what they do, I recommend this shop to anyone and any age (18+) you’ll have a good time and get a great tattoo that’s for sure!

I went to this place a week ago with one of my girlfriends and we both got piercings. We came here because we heard from a friend that they do 2−4−1 piercings. So we decided to check it out.
The second you walk in the door you are greeted by this big ass yellow boa and some other snake and it effing scared the shit out of me!
We were instantly greeted by the tattoo artist, didn’t catch his name, but he was really nice and sincere. He is really funny too! He answered all the questions we had and kept us occupied when we were waiting for the piercer.
I didn’t quite catch the name of the guy who pierced us, but he was cool! He was really funny too. I got 2 cartilage piercings and it costed me $ 50. Not bad at all, cause I’ve been to other place and they charged $ 80. It was $ 40 for the 1^st piercing and $ 10 for the jewelry for the second piercing.
These guys were really professional and cool. The environment is very laid back so you don’t get über anxious or nervous. I will def come back to this place and go to the Riverside guy for my 1^st tattoo!

My brother and I came here to check out what Aztec had to offer. We were greeted by Nate and some Jimi Hendrix. I was looking for a piercing and left with two thanks to their amazing 2−4−1 deal! The shop was clean and Nate was friendly. My brother got a tattoo on his arm by Nate and Nate also offered to touch up a previous tattoo done by some knuckle head in PB. I was pleased with the service and quality of work. It has been a week and everything is healing up quite nicely :)

I LOVE AZTEC TATTOO! If your ever in San Diego, stop and get inked from these guys… Nate is an amazing artist, awesome work, makes you feel as comfortable as possible. I flew 1200 miles just to come back to Nate! He always goes out of his way to make sure your completely satisfied with the tattoo. I’ve sent many friends there. Don’t go anywhere else besides Aztec!

I had my lip pierced at another tattoo studio, and they completely effed me up. So I went over to Nate at Aztec. Nate is awesome! First, he gave me honest advice on what I should do. Which was awesome, as well. He took my jewelry out for me, no questions asked, so the piercing could heal and told me that since I had been through a crappy experience with it, that he would give me a discount when I came in to have it re-​done.
Just about a half hour ago, I went in and had Nate pierce my lip. I cant think of even one thing he did that was unprofessional. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible and was just great all around. The other place didnt bother do do half of the safety precations that Nate did. He was also very thorough with aftercare instructions, which the other place in question was… shall I say… lacking. I also noted how freaking clean and tidy his shop was, and that is one star right there. =D I would FULLY recommend going to Nate at Aztec for any of your piercing (and tattoo) needs.

I just went into aztec tattoo and got «one love «tattooed on my forearm and it looks great… Nate was the artist and was not only extremely talented with his artwork but knowledgeable about the business. Nate not only sketched out exactly what i wanted but did an amazing job with the tattoo. Nate is a great artist and i would recommend him to everyone and anyone who wants some work done. Aztec is definitely the place togo ! aztec tattoo all day.
I would not get work done anywhere else. thanks nate

I was jonesing for a new piercing so I decided to cruise down El Cajon and see what’s out there. I’m pretty sure there used to be a place at 68^th and El Cajon or thereabouts called Edgewater Tattoo, but it looks like they went out of business. I came up on Aztec Tattoo and was excited to see a Buy One, Get One Free Piercing sign over the door. Now, sure, I was a little hesitant about a place that offers such an amazing discount, but it was clean, and the guys were friendly, so I decided to take a chance. I got «something» pierced and the guy did an amazing job! Totally got me to relax and was very, very quick about it. I hardly felt any pain at all! Plus, the last time I went to get that particular piercing, I went to Ultimate Tattoo and the guy was having trouble and said it wasn’t going to work for me, so I left. It cost $ 60 for the first one and then I paid just $ 10 for the jewelry for my nose, which was the second. It’s been just about 2 weeks since I got them done and everything is healing up just great!
