Really decent food, great combinations. The plates, fries, and salads are unique and tasty. I like most of the menu items. The Koren bbq, teriyaki, and buffalo chicken are all stand outs. The bowls are a little bit of a letdown, but I would definitely recommend this food truck. Prices are decent too. They arn’t out to rip you off like a lot of food trucks out there. Wish they didn’t charge you .50 cents to use a credit card though

Aunty Lynne’s is the best!!! If you’re in San Diego, you have to go and eat at Aunty Lynne’s. Extremely reasonable prices and a lot of awesome food options. Korean BBQ or carne asada fries to Filipino favorites of adobo and lumpia Amazing! You can’t go wrong here. Aunty Lynne is really friendly and the service is quick and easy. This will be the next food truck success story for sure. Happy and glad that it is here in SD than LA. :)

While I was practicing my golf swing at the driving range one day, I turned around to see a food truck pull up next to the pro shop. I noticed it was an «Island/Asian Fusion» sorta truck. Being that it was a really warm day the first thing I noticed was that they sold shave ice and smoothies. So as soon as I was done pretending to be Tiger Woods, I made my way to the food truck. I was going to just order a smoothie but then I noticed that they also served hot food as well. I’m a sucker for carne asada fries and they had about six different kinds of «fries». From the traditional carne asada fries to Korean BBQ fries. I asked what their specialty was and the friendly lady(who I assumed was Aunty Lynne) told me the Korean BBQ fries were probably their most popular. So that’s what I went with. I still also wanted a smoothie so again I asked what she’d recommend. She said the Peanut Butter Cup smoothie was a winner. So I added that to the order. Both the fries and smoothie were delicious. I tore through those KBBQ fries like I hadn’t eaten in weeks. And the smoothie was really good, too. Although, I think calling it a Peanut Butter Cup smoothie is a bit misleading. It’s actually more of a peanut butter, chocolate, and banana smoothie. The banana is very prominent in the flavor so I think they should consider renaming it. But that’s just me being nitpicky. The only two«cons» I could see from my first experience here are: 1) I wish there was a bit more meat on the fries. 2) The size of the order of fries is about half of what you’d get for a full order of carne asada fries at a taqueria. So nothing major really. I don’t consider the size of the fries a ripoff because they were so damn tasty! So in my book, they’ve definitely earned this 4 star rating. I’m going to keep an eye out for these guys in the future for sure!
