The rice tastes like wet towel. They may need to clean their cooking supplies. I usually have a good experience but this is unacceptable. The service I recieved was pretty terrible. I was the only person there and yet the lady seemed distracted. I’m not going back, even though it was always my lunch time back up.

I live near by my boyfriend was looking up places to eat. Personally I was craving kfc but I guess I didn’t really wanna bust a mission to get food since I could barely walk a far distance. So when in I got the 1 entrée combo for $ 5.99 I got the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. I saw they had sushi for cheap but I’m a little picky when it comes to sushi I wouldn’t really trust it at this place since its raw. My boyfriend got orange chicken with chow mein. I decided to grab milk tea boba cause I JUSTLOVEBOBAS!!! Unfortunately I wasn’t as satisfied with their food :(honestly with their customer service was on point super friendly and nice. The fried rice was too dry I think it’s been out for a while, their teriyaki chicken was good though! So 2 stars for their service and their teriyaki chicken. My boyfriends orange chicken was good too! Specially it was made fresh since they didn’t have very much left on the tray. Chow mein was decent. Their boba milk tea was okay, overall I wasn’t really into this place than I expected. I’d go back and try out their sushi though! When I’m not pregnant lol

This place is pretty bad. They over season almost everything on the menu. Obviously they’re trying to be like Panda Express but it doesn’t compare. A lot of the food just sits there for a while. I ate less than half of my order as did my coworker. Could be so much better.

We were at the Asia Wok at around 3:30. I oredered the two item combo, one beef and broccoli, the other chicken. Chow mein was included with the price $ 6.29. The price is reasonable, but the food was not satisfactory. The broccoli was overcooked, soggy and hardly any beef. The chicken was dry, like it had been left on the pan all day. We ate outside. It is a pleasant set up. With a fountain next to the outdoor sitting. Children were playing in it. When we were done, I stepped inside, two of the employees were sitting. I commented about the food, the young lady, who appeared to be texting, just gave me a blank stare and the young man who was watching the tv, only nodded. Then, they turned again to what they were doing. No attempt was made to please an unsatisfied customer.

Three years. I’ve gone here every Sunday and every Friday. NOLONGER! Finally found out who the problem is. Managment. Yes it is leadership. If you go in and you see a female employee… continue!!! If you see an older Korean man, he is the manager. Walk away(fast). We went from the 2 entre plate to the large«karry» out. If she is there you will get your your money’s worth. If he is there, you will not(NOTE: May not be quality. For quality go to Imperial location). Went there today & found it was no longer a value for $ 1 much less the $ 9.99 they charged me for my plate plus the 2 dead flies. Sorry. Asian wok. You’ve gone downhill FAST. Update: Food quality has increased. Get the Large carry out VICE the 2 item container. They have regular staff now and this has affected food quality.

Cons: The chicken tempura sushi didn’t have any taste at all. The spicy chicken has an after taste of 5 spice seasoning. The chow mein was gooey. Pros: The quantity of food is a lot. Clean restaurant. The foods are hot.

I ate some greasy, over-breaded, soggy orange chicken and some fried rice here last night. I woke up feeling super sick around 1AM and ended up vomiting… I can’t eat here again after that experience.

Great alternative to another fast food restaurant that takes its name from an Asian bear. I got what I would’ve normally gotten at that other place: beef broccoli, teriyaki chicken, and half and half chow mein and fried rice. The noodles are thick! Thicker than average, which made them much more flavorful. They also included big pieces of onion and other garnishes, which if you don’t like, are easy to pick out. The fried rice was pretty good too. Teriyaki chicken was good as well. The beef broccoli was okay, but I wish they would’ve included just a bit more to get a real taste for it. Either way, they’re generally not afraid to fill up the spoon completely while serving you. Good for on the go, but eating there was pretty uncomfortable. It was a warm day and it was super hot inside. If I remember correctly, they had the doors open too. Solid place. Would recommend.

The service was average at best. The food was not good at all. Really bad flavor, I had a two item plate with teriyaki chicken, salted pepper wings and half rice /low mein… bland flavor… I didn’t really enjoy any of the items on my lunch plate. I give it 1 star for service and unfortunately 0 for the food.

Lets see where should I start? The service here is friendly so 5 stars for that, and the food here is decent BUT gives BIG portions. 3 item combo can easily be a 2 meal a day option if you’re on a budget. egg rolls are pretty meh though. I enjoyed the BBQ pork but not the best place for it. So here is why I lowered the rating to 2 stars. There was no line or people in front of me or anyone waiting. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my Boba. I’ve waited max 5 at other places with a bigger selection. If I knew I had to wait so long I would have just gone elsewhere. Like I said the food is alright, but they make up for it with quantity over quality. Also I asked for sweet and sour and they gave me some spicy sauce. I’m ok with spice but that’s not what I asked for. Overall its great but slow service and Decent but lots of food. Maybe in the future if I come and thats a big IF i will update my review.

This has become my go-to, in a hurry, get some grub in my belly pitstop. Great Chinese food? Hell no, but great Chinese food in San Diego has become a lot like chasing the perfect wave or hunting sasquatch — does it really exist? Parking is a breeze in the big parking lot and all the buildings are brand new as a result of the Barrio Logan redevelopment project. Step inside and you’re not likely to stay long. Why? Because it takes them no time at all to prepare your three item combo plate and send you on your way. Kind of Panda Express style with a bunch of items already prepared but the quality is a bit better. The combo comes with your choice of fried rice, chow-mein or veggies, but they don’t really announce the veggies and you need to ask them to make the substitution. The best thing is that the employees are heavy handed and don’t skimp one bit when dishing out your selections. The spicy chicken is constant for me while the remaining two are pretty much wild cards selected by sampling. About $ 9.00 and five minutes later I’m out the door with enough food to last me through the day — half for lunch, half for din-din. Definitely a win-win. Summary: Want an authentic Chinese experience? Don’t come here. Want an Americanized hold-you-over Chinese inspired mountain of meat and veggies cooked in bulk? This is your jam.

Don’t expect authentic Chinese. Two dishes and a side of noodles is cheap but you will regret it later. I was burping caned garlic for hours. Each dish was very greasy and everything tasted the same. Lots of gristle in in the chicken. Gosh I hope it was chicken, they said it was chicken. The positives: The staff was friendly and informative.

This place is actually pretty good. I recommend there spicy chicken. I crave it ALL the time. It’s Chinese food so I feel like a fat ass every time I eat it but it’s worth it lol the flavors and portions are there. Great staff too.

Good little spot in the hood!!! the quality matches the price, so can’t expect the greatest Chinese food, but it’s not the worse. I got chow mein, orange chicken, and Kung pao chicken. They charge you similar to panda: one entrée with one side or one entrée with 2 sides. then extra sides are extra of course. They let you taste their sides if you would like as well :) they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Pretty chill spot to stop at or to grab something to go.

Large portions for a reasonable price, good food, and attentive staff? Um. Yes. I was a little worried they’d be like Panda Express. They’re not. AW is infinitely better; I was actually pleasantly surprised with how tasty everything was. Like, I wish I had more stomachs. Will definitely come back.
