Cute little stop in terminal 2 at the airport. The croissants can be ordered with meat and eggs in a variety of combos. It’s a nice quiet place to wait for a flight. They have an assortment of hot drinks and service is quick. Scones muffins and other pastries are sold as well.

I’m always on the lookout for good airport eats and after two visits to the San Diego airport, I’m happy to report that I have my go-to place. The Artisan Market has several things going for it: 1) Hot sandwiches, 2) Fresh salads, 3) Gourmet baked goods. Any one of these three things would make me a happy passenger, but give me all 3 and I’m on cloud 9(get it???). You order at the front, and pick up your hot sandwiches in the back. The pressed sandwiches take a bit longer than everything else, so make sure you give yourself enough time if you’re catching a flight, believe me it’s worth it! The baked goods are perfect to bring on the plane for later, they all look so yummy you’ll have a hard time picking just one. I had the lemon poppy seed scone and it was delicious! I’ve tried the hot sandwich(italian meat), and the cold(turkey and cranberry), and both were very good. The bread that they use really makes a big difference. They have a good amount of seating so grab a spot and enjoy some good eats before you fly!

Great salads to go. Kale salad was great. For the price and considering it is airport good, this place is darn good. Outside of an airport this would still be worth at least four stars.

One of new food venues in the airport. The airport is finally getting some cool food venues other than the typical airport or mall options. They offer a lot of healthier salad type options here at airport prices. They also have a bar in the same location serving craft beer. I can’t think of a worst place to spend some time before a flight.
