A little oasis down the street from my office… A brief respite from the burdens of the day. As a guy, I was originally quite skeptical about «skin treatments,» but my secretary is a big fan, so I gave it a shot. I can’t say facials are for me, but the Back-​Facial (which seems a bit oxymoronic to me, but I digress), is oh, so delightful! Part deep cleaning, part massage, all good! And manly…
Throw in a little manscaping says the wife, so we added waxing to remove recently sprouting back hairs and the oddest treatment of all… nostril waxing! (What is up with getting older and having random hair growth?!?) It looked like dandelion blooms had been removed from my nose. Weird, kind of disgusting, and pretty funny, but what a great result!
The salon is in the back of a courtyard in the Union Bank building at the corner of 5^th and University. Parking is a breeze under the building and she validated! Jourdan was chill and seemed really into what she does. Even the dandelion blooms…
Now I’m going to have to set my secretary and my wife up for facials with Jourdan as a thank you… And figure out when I’ll be entitled to another reward for myself!!! Highly recommend!
