I just got married in San Diego over the weekend. I decided last minute to have a stylist do my hair and makeup instead of my friend who is also a stylist. I wanted her to enjoy her vacation. Anyway, I found Kate online and sent her an email. She wrote back promptly and said she was available. This was with one day notice! She called me and was very professional and asked me a lot of great questions since we didnt have time for a trial. Her prices are reasonable, 65.00 to style my daughters hair and 135.00 for my hair and makeup.
When she showed up to the hotel, I knew instantly I would love her work. She is beautiful and very funny. She got there at 1p and finished with everything by 3:30p. My hair and makeup were stunning! I usually wear light make up and was worried I would look overdone but it was perfect. The only thing we had an issue with was my Maid on Honor asked if she could do her makeup last minute and Kate said she ran out of time. I understand it was planned last minute so I understand but that was the only disappointing thing. I would definitely recommend her.

Very professional and dedicated. I couldn’t be happier with Kate’s service. Everyone was complementing my bridal party and I’s makeup. We looked extraordinarily flawless without that she’s got too much makeup on look that we all try to avoid. Makeup looked effortlessly beautiful. Kate is fun and easygoing. I have had the privilege of knowing Kate the owner of Allure Beauties for many years. She has done my wedding, my sister’s wedding, my best friends wedding and probably twenty other events. She also is my personal private stylist for my hotel guests at the Resort I work for Downtown. I have had nothing but 120% from her and her stylist. The most amazing hair and makeup I have ever seen. She is wonderful and I DO recommend her to everyone. You should too :) You will love her
