AFC Chiropractic

Went for my new patient chiropractor appointment and left without being seen after sitting in the waiting room for an hour. The receptionist explained something came up that day, and this was not the norm. I don’t know what was going on, since I was the only person sitting there waiting, and I didn’t see any other patients coming or going. But I reassured her it was not her fault.
I got the impression speaking engagements were more the priority for this place, as she was forced to make 5000 phone calls verifying attendance at various «free dinners» that Dr. Omar had coming up. Per the website, you can sign up for a free dinner espousing his weight loss regimen, targeting hormones, belly fat, etc. So just for curiosity’s sake, I checked the closest one, which is being held at… wait for it… CLAIM JUMPER. Who goes to Claim Jumper to discuss health, well being, and weight loss of all things?
Anyway, the website was not accurate or up to date, as the $ 45 intro exam and massage special no longer exists. In fact, massage no longer exists here. I found this whole experience dismaying and infuriating, rather than «healing» in any way.

Recently my wife and I attended a free dinner for an introduction to Omar Anguiano’s take on functional medicine. After the lecture we signed up for a consultation to get more information on processes to help with my wife’s autoimmune problems. We paid $ 134 for this consultation.
When we arrived for our appointment, we discovered that our consultation consisted of an attempt to get us to sign up for a $ 3,200+ three month program delivered by Anguiano.
We felt cheated. the one hour consultation lasted about 15 minutes with a sales pitch for more money without an information that would have helped with my wife’s current problems. This was a waste of our time and money. Don’t make the same mistake we did!
I’d give it zero stars if iI could.

Dr. Omar is in the process of healing a lower back ailment I have been dealing with for the past 8 years. He is professional and sincerely cares about the work he does. Dr. Omar shows an interest in my daily activities and the amount of pain I have been living with for so long. His work, in a matter of months, has aligned my posture, relieved pressure from my back and knees, and makes me feel like a million bucks! My boyfriend originally bought me a Living Social deal to Dr. Omar’s office which included his initial alignment and an hour massage by an affiliate massage therapist. The experience was so great that I just kept coming back. Thank you Dr. Omar, to you and your very friendly staff, for taking such good care of me :)
