ABC Braids

I never really do reviews, but this place was a terrible experience. I had to wait around forever to get started. I had to buy my own product to use. I wasted my time and money. And my hair looks terrible. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. They can’t not do dreads.

So I needed someone to do my cornrows before I went on vacation. So I needed a place last minute because the first place I was going to screwed up the schedule and scheduled me incorrectly then I called another person, but she was sick and she called me yesterday afternoon to cancel. So I called ABC Braids and asked if they had someone available for today (technically yesterday). She asked what time and I said 5 PM. So I got over there and she was running a little late, but she made it. Let me just say Panda is SUPER FAST! She did a two section cornrow with the front section wavy and it only took 2 hours and 20 minutes. That is fast and it was painless cause I have gotten cornrows where it really gets your attention! Especially when they start at the front edges. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of is that she left the ends out. I prefer burning the ends closed because I’m paranoid that the braids will unravel and the extension will come out, BUT the fact that she made the ends wavy by braiding the ends in pigtails and dipping them in hot water was great. I like the look and I think that when I want braids again I’ll go there again. Also the pricing is good. she had quoted me $ 150 and at first I was like Whooo! But after seeing it complete it was well worth it, but I realized when I got home and did the math, I gypped poor Panda some of her tip. I was about $ 5 short. I will get you back later Panda, I’m so sorry! Also the place is in a small shopping center, so you can park in there with no hassle.

Found this place when it first opened. The owner is nice, they also do dreads, or at least they used to.
