I have to admit I like the convenience of the 7-Eleven’s around town, especially given they offer a co-op ATM with my Credit Union. No fees on your own money is always a good thing. Anyways, I stopped in to get some cash and purchase a 16 oz Hazelnut cup of coffee. Although I had to wait for the slow poke on front of me, the ATM was in good working order. The coffee island, as they call it, was pretty well organized and the coffee was full and piping hot, not to mention quite good, especially on a cool wet day, as it was. The guy at the counter had just begun his shift and was in good spirits and chatted it up a bit. The store as a whole was well organized and clean for the most part, except near the door where traffic is heavy. The sandwich and salad section was looking good! This 7-Eleven is on the convenient corner of 5th and Broadway.

I always receive great service at this the location. Shaun is such a great help and always greets you with a smile. The store looks clean inside and is well stocked. I have witnessed Shaun do the right thing even when problematic customers do the wrong thing! Way to Go Shaun!

I always come here every morning around 5:45am and have aleays been greeted with the employees from. They are always nice and very attentive. They always offer deals, for example the 7eleven app which they convinced me to get. Love all the guys that work here in the morning very funny.

It is a 7 – 11, the standard kind. Nothing special but it gets the job done.

This is the most expensive 7⁄11 I’ve been to! Spent almost $ 40 just on snacks and drinks. I didn’t even buy that much.

Will never go here again! Horrible experience, the girl Mesert that works there is an idiot, she has no concern for the customers or any knowledge of prices and deals going on for donuts and coffee that are offered there. the guy behind the counter was standing there and got all the other customers in line pissed off over that he wasn’t willing to ring people up even though there was a long line… He was doing absolutely nothing. Also it is 7÷11÷2015 and they had never heard of free slurpee day which is pretty bad if you ask me. never going here again!!!

Every time I got to this location, the employees speak very little English and don’t understand what I say. They are rude, speak in their native tongue and laugh. For all I know they can be talking trash about us as a customer. What is going on with the 711 chain, it seems like it is no longer an American owned company as all of San Diego locations are run by Somalians. I spend a lot of money at this location because I live close by, after today, I will no longer shop here and will make sure my friends and neighbors don’t either. I hope these reviews reach corporate headquarters and do something to change what 711 is turning into.

My wife and I are staying at the Hotel Palomar next door. We’ve found this 7-Eleven extremely convenient to grab a quick breakfast, soft drinks and fruit. I think the perception of convenience store associates in general is that they’re rude and disinterested. I’m happy to say that I’ve visited this store at least 5 times on this trip and all of the associates have been extra helpful and friendly. This store stays very busy and I imagine it would be easy for them to be burned out dealing with so many people in such a hurry. So far, each associate has had a warm greeting and a fond farewell as I’ve picked up my little bundle of items. I’ve been impressed with their service!

Wow! If I could give zero stars I would! They screwed up ringing up 4 items! The CC machine didn’t like 3 of my cards! Then, they demanded cash! Had to reboot the register because they froze it. And no communication as to what was wrong with the 8 other people in line! Get it together! I won’t be back!

The place is great. It is always clean, and we’ll stocked — the shelves with chips, cigs, candies and condoms; and the crowd of customers stocked with crazies. That is part of the charm of living downtown, though. I love the local«color» we get as a greeting before entering the store. Alex the manager and Rosa are 7 – 11 assets.

This is the best 7-Eleven around the area and best period. Best customer service from Rosa and the supervisor! They make sure the Togo food is fresh!

At the corner of Broadway and 5th Ave in Downtown San Diego. They don’t have any alcohol here. They have everything else that all other 7-Eleven’s have — ATM machine, warm foods, candy, chips, drinks, slurpees, etc etc. It’s small overall, but if you have no car and need something within walking distance, then this is your convenience store.

Coming back to the Hard Rock(downtown/Gaslamp District) from the beaches and was desperately in need of gas, used Unilocal to find closest gas station. So, drove out of my way 10 blocks at least, only to find this is ONLY a regular 7-Eleven, NOT A GASSTATION at all. Wasn’t too happy, especially when I specifically typed in gas stations in my search!

Love this 7-Eleven, was two blocks from our hotel and it was a convenience market then anything then a 7-Eleven Only bad thing was the Citibank ATM didn’t allow deposits. When I stay in downtown SD near the GasLamp, this is 100% my go to 7-Eleven.

Although there were a lot of homeless people outside asking for change, It didn’t smell like shit as a prior reviewer said and everyone inside was friendly. I got the snacks i wanted(coke slurpee and candy) and it was painless. We walked from the hotel so parking wasnt an issue.

Great spot for some basic necessities(ie. WATER!) when vacationing in the gaslamp. Since the Omni hotel was charging $ 10 for bottled water, this little 7-Eleven just up the street was perfect for refueling on liquids and snacks for late night and in between meals. The dudes who run this place are also extraordinarily friendly and normal human beings, esp in contrast to the untamed bro-dom rampaging through that area. A social oasis in an otherwise otherworldly neighborhood of Axe spray and broken pumps.

Scum of the earth, the rebirth of jesus in the form of ‘canyousparesomechange’ … … yes yes this is the repository for us marginalized … and this is the place where I go to get my ding-a-ling in a box not boxxx. Ever feel hog tied to or emaciated by the status quo then this is the place to deface your inner status quo, to feel momentarily disgusted and satisfied with yourself simultaneously, to feel the vulnerability of the flesh and feel it deteriorate with every swallow of the hot dog!!! Yeah they got sugar free slurpees you can add vodka to and a funkdified ass coffee bar but nothing compares to getting a hot dog at 7 eleven… I mean these mufuckas got a condiments bar n everything unlike Weinersnitchel… DAYAMNOWTHAT’S ILL! I don’t care if there’s a couple flies here and there or if they got maggots all sprawling all over the place… I don’t care if the hot dogs are made of shit!!! That’s precisely why I’m eat ing it! To rebel against all those damn times I robotically answered ewwww! To every person who said ‘don’t you know it got rat/pig/manure/donkey ass up in there? Mmmm mmmm watch me now… Immma eat it … damn dog rat never tasted so good!!! 7 double 1 is the sheeit.
