This is MY kinda market. There is always parking even though it’s limited to street parking. The guys are friendly and always seem to help you if you look like a deer in headlights trying to find something. Plus, the last time I was in there, I bought a cool Padres hat for five bucks! It seems like their prices are little bit better than the other 200 liquor stores on University. I like that during my night-​time visits, they walk me out and stand by the door to make sure I get to my car without being accosted (this isn’t the greatest neighborhood). There always seems to be a mix of characters coming in for their smokes or 40s so it’s entertaining as well as convenient.
