Whenever I have a problem in my home, I have to take a deep breathe because I know what happens next. Go to Unilocal.Read countless reviews. Good; bad; indifferent. Then finally decide on the top three and begin to make calls. Usually you end up on a voicemail and leave a message and wait for somebody to call back. This time, I decided to call my dad because I remember him telling me what a great experience he had with an HVAC company recently. Thank goodness, I made that call. My dad is originally from Israel and was a captain in the military. Tough guy. Strong back bone. Tough to please. Also owned probably 25 different small businesses through the years. I called him this morning and asked him about his experience with Triton Air. I quote, «I will never use any other company as long as they are in business.» Honestly, in 40 years, I don’t think I have ever heard my dad say that before about a company. I mean NEVER. Nonetheless, I got the number for Triton Air and dialed first thing this morning. My dad said to ask for Karyn and schedule an appointment. He also said to ask for Eric to come out. So that’s exactly what I did. Spoke to Karyn this morning, who by the way is totally incredible. You can tell she is the glue for this company. I would absolutely hire her for my company but I’m sure she not available. I asked her some basic questions about installing a Nest Thermostat in my home with some other basic questions. She had her service manager Jason call me within the hour or so and answer every question I had. He suggested an alternative to the Nest as they have had better experiences with the Ecobee3. I followed the doctors orders and preceded to make an appointment. We had an appointment scheduled for Monday. Two hours later I got a call from Karyn and she said there was a cancellation and Eric could swing by and be at my house within the hour. I kid you not, he shows up in 55
minutes. My goodness these guys have done everything right so far. So Eric comes in and introduces himself. Nice uniform. Puts booties over his shoes. Makes eye contact. Firm hand shake. Explains everything. Bottom line, he knows his stuff. I asked him to walk through my equipment and make sure everything looked good and was running well. He thoroughly checked out everything, installed the thermostat, gave me a thorough tutorial on how to use it, and even suggested four additional items that can be done if I would like. What started out as maybe a $ 400 project turned into a $ 1,500 check few hours later. I didn’t feel up sold not even for a second. I felt informed and was so glad to pay the bill. Trust me when I tell you, don’t read any other reviews. I can’t speak for the rest of the company, but if you deal with Karyn in the front end and Eric to solve your problems or Jason the service manager, there is absolutely NO reason to call any other company. My brother, sister, and mother in law have already been texted their number and they left an hour ago. This company is the real deal.

Triton Air was VERY easy to work with. They answered all my questions, diagnosed the problem, and repaired it! Eric was awesome!

These guys get two stars for honesty and initial service I experienced but due to either miscommunication or someone dropping the ball, I am getting an entire new ac/​furnace system installed by another local company.
Eric came to diagnose why our ac wasn’t blowing cold air. He could not get to the access panel on the condenser unit because the prior owner had ingeniously planted a palm tree butted up right against it. It had to be removed. I removed it and they assured me they would come back at out (at no additional diagnoses charge $ 89) to see what was wrong with it. I removed the tree and they came back out a day after requested. Great service up to this point.
Eric checked it out, determined it was a refrigerant leak and was pretty up front about everything. This was a 27 year old unit (Trane) that had run its life and I could spend $ 800+ to repair the leak, re-​fill it but there was no guarantee it wouldn’t leak elsewhere or something else wouldn’t crap out on it. I figured it had a good run and it was probably best to invest in a new system anyway. He left and said he would have a project manager call me to either bid out some new system options and /​or schedule an appointment to come by if needed. He was going to put an «urgent» tag on it. Again, great up to this point.
A day went by and I figured they were just busy, then another, then the weekend. It has now been 3 weeks since my diagnostic from Triton and I received a call (voice message) from one of their techs this am asking if I removed the palm tree so he could come and look at the unit. I have had four full bids since that initial diagnostic and am scheduled to have my entire new system (furnace/​ac etc.) installed next Friday. I will review that company once that has been completed.
I am sure someone dropped the ball or overlooked a call that should have been made and I get that it happens. But to call me 3 weeks later, not for a new ac system bid but the repair, someone really messed up. I would think someone who is looking to spend $ 6-​$ 8k on a new ac system would be given a call to set an appointment. It is unfortunate because until I never heard back from them, I was very happy with their service and if I could give Eric his own review, he gets 5 stars across the board. Since nothing was serviced and I never received the bid I was promised, I cannot review anything other than Eric’s service and the company’s lack of response to my needs.

Within minutes of sharing my experience here, Mike (the owner I believe) called me personally to apologize about the mishap. It was one of those «something got lost in the shuffle» deals and he was very apologetic. He even is going so far as to send me a check refunding the $ 89 diagnostic fee I paid for initially because I did not get the service I paid for. I would not hesitate to do business with this company or recommend them to anyone as they have gone above and beyond with their service level. If I did not already have a committed install date for our new AC system, I would be giving Triton Air priority for my business. While I have not experienced their installation or repair services, if they are half as good as they handled this situation, I would be a completely satisfied customer. 5 stars for awesome service and being upfront with me about the mishap.

I couldn’t have been more impressed. Byron was our technician. He called ahead, got here on time, was clean, organized and professional. His knowledge and ability to explain everything to us was a great combination. I was so impressed with the workmanship and professionalism that I signed up for a service plan. Everything was no pressure. If Byron is an example of the people and systems that are in place at Triton Air, they have certainly figured some things out. Kudos!

Eric A. is an angel. It is a rarity to meet such an AMAZING person. In a gas station in San Clemente, my tire was completely flat on 04÷07÷16. Eric stopped eating during his lunch break to ask if I needed any help to change my tire. He helped a stranger without asking anything in return.
I don’t meet people like this everyday. If Eric is this type of person, I can only imagine what type of organization Triton Air is. You are truly lucky to have Eric.

Water tank busted, reached out to Triton to replace. Their installer Egan was excellent. Knowledgeable, efficient and came across extremely trustworthy. While here he identified several other minor issues that I was able to resolve which I wouldn’t have known about for some time.

Great job by Triton Air installing a replacement furnace and all-​new air conditioning in my custom home in Dana Point. We found Triton Air through Costco in Capo Beach, and we determined their quote was better cost-​wise and feature-​wise than a leading competitor’s. It was great having a true turnkey solution, including having a crane on site to lift the compressor up the steep slope that my home is built into. Our house has a lot of unique challenges, but Egan and the team at Triton Air worked very hard to solve all the issues and deliver an amazingly quiet but powerful system. I highly recommend these guys!

The service was great and carried out in an efficient and effective way. Ric W has been extremely helpful in coming up with solutions for clean air and a more efficient HVAC system.

We just had Triton Air install a heater and air conditioner, Jose, Gary, and Jeremy C. did a great job, very professional, polite, and best of all they never left a mess when the day ended. We couldn’t be happier, and will recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Triton Air recently installed our new A/​C unit and we were very pleased with the team of experts that came to our home from the early information stage with Sean to the installation stage with Brandon. However, what made us clients for life is when we had a circuit breaker issue this past holiday weekend. I called Triton Air on a holiday monday morning. I received a callback within 15 minutes from Technician Egan, who would be at my front door within 10 minutes. Egan was prompt and efficient. He traced back the problem to our main circuit breaker which needed replacement. He was so thorough and explained how the problem occurred and how he could fix it. Once the new main circuit breaker was installed, he re-​checked all the lights and A/​C to make sure all was running properly. He is a great asset to Triton Air. Thanks Jay B.

Triton Air was referred to me by a local general contractor that I’ve used for a number of residential projects, so I knew I’d be in good hands. Needed all duct work replaced and new insulation installed. You’ll get an honest assessment of what you need without a high pressure sales pitch. Competitive price. Job was professionally done in the time frame promised. I highly recommend them.

Egan, Jeremy and Aaron worked on my project. The work was well done, the communication was good and they completed the work on schedule. Egan made sure to test everything and show me how it all worked. I’m very satisfied with the professionalism of the crew and the quality of their work.

I work with Triton Air on a day to day basis! Great company to know and it has been a pleasure to work with everyone at the office. Jobs are completed in a timely manner and every customer is satisfied.

I called Triton Air today at around 4:00 pm, and they set me up for an appointment tomorrow. However, it turned out that one of their technicians, Cory, was in the area, so he was able to come over this evening. Lo and behold, one and a half hours later, my furnace is working! Cory was great — very professional, willing to explain everything to me, and trustworthy (very important!). He showed me exactly what was broken (the igniter) and was able to quickly replace it. Great service! Now I know who to call when I need this furnace replaced (plus I got a free filter out of it).

Everyone who helped install my system was very friendly, courteous, professional and trustworthy. They left all accessed areas clean and neat, and I felt I could trust them enough to go about my own chores for the day without worrying about anything. The installation was fast and efficient, considering it was all brand new.

So when I went to switch out the filter and fire up the furnace to test it out, it made a weird humming noise and the blower seemed to be limping along.
I gave Triton Air a call, unfortunately they had a bit of a wait for appointments. However, they promised to call back and attempt to fit me in and or notify if they had a cancellation. Fifteen minutes later I had an appointment for the next day.
Louis and Cory were on time, professional and walked me through the cleaning and inspection process. That humming and fan issue was a worn out capacitor. Sadly No it was not a flux capacitor.
Everything was cleaned, repaired and inspected within an hour or so. I found the prices reasonable and the employees were knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use these guys again.

We purchased a home and decided to relocate our furnace. We contacted a number of companies and found ourselves dealing with either incredible incompetence or just plain evaciveness. The HVAC companies we contacted wouldn’t provide details of the job that was going to be thousands of dollars. We received proposals of 10’s of Thousands of dollars but without information as to the work that was to be performed.
However, when we finally found Brandon and Triton Air, we were relieved to learn that an ethical company in the HVAC industry does exist! Their initial proposal was detailed, they answered ALL of our questions, and provided us with a comfort level to move forward with Brandon and Triton Air.
Triton Air has a very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive team. They completed a significant job at our home and we have peace of mind that what Triton Air did for us was correct, thorough, and appropriate to our needs.
We have since used Triton Air for yet another job at our home and they continue to come through with flying colors. Exceptional company! Kudos to Triton Air and its entire team.

I thought Triton Air was great. I initially called them for a hvac issue I was having less than a year ago. As it turns out the original technician came to my house and basically rigged my hvac unit. The same problem came back less than a year later. I called Triton again to come back out and diagnose the problem again. Turns out it could have been fixed the first time. Basically I was charged 2 times for the same problem!
I called Triton to talk about my issue. I was assured a service manager would review my case, and then call me back. Well long story short no call back just charged double for same problem. Bad customer services, and ripping me off…
Sorry I know this one of the only bad reviews, but this is my personal experience. Feel free to contact me regarding Triton Air.

After talking with the owner Mike, he resolved my issues. He’s a stand up guy, and a good businessman. We talked for several minutes about my concerns, he’s a very fair guy, and wants his customers happy.
They do good work, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
