San Clemente Shell Station

We stopped here to fill up on gas and nothing more. The gas prices were great, it took only $ 55 to fill up my tank. The place was not a hassle, and it wasn’t crowded. The place was maintained decently clean, and it is located in a nice part of town. Nothing much else to add. Clean place + great prices = 5 stars.

I’m done with this business after too many hassles. This company has proved several times that they just don’t care.
Twice they have refused to take cash — once because they couldn’t make change and once because the cashier had just finished counting her drawer at the end of her shift and had to wait for the next cashier to come on duty — lame.
But today was the last straw. The gas pump didn’t shut off when the tank got full and gas went everywhere. The attendant didn’t know what to do and offered a paper towel. When asked for some water to flush the area, the attendant refused — not allowed. So I left for the last time with the side of my vehicle soaked with gas and a pool of gas inside my gas door. Shouldn’t a gas station have a procedure for fuel spill clean up? Again, lame excuse & not helpful.

I almost always stop here on the way from the Central Valley back to San Diego when I’m low on gas. I like it because it’s in a good, well lit area and it’s open 24 hours. Sometimes when I make the trip by myself, I have to be careful where I stop if it’s dark and late at night because you can never be too safe!
The gas station is always clean and never has trash around. It’s also been really clean inside the store part of the gas station and the people here are friendly.

Wish I could give it a zero star review, attendant at night refused to help me. Use to be my go to station but after this experience I will find another on my route to fill up at.

Decent priced gas and a well lit area. Convenient on and off to the freeway. Also, they have a smartly-​located fire extinguisher right next to the pump… I don’t think I’ve ever seem that before.

I have noticed gas is cheaper than in Irvine where I live, so whenever I’m here I just fill up, This Shell location is convenient, the cheapest out of the 2 other gas station in the same street, chevron or mobil,
ATM inside the market.
