Food is only average. Nothing special. You will do much better with Panera or Corner Bakery. What is consistent is the awful service. I keep trying this place hoping it gets better and it always disappoints. Very much a «I don’t know I just work here» attitude. I’ve tried the location in RSM and it’s much better. That’s usually a management problem.

I love the food and drinks along with the atmosphere.
One thing I must say, I called and they don’t deliver even though their site says they do.

First time here my fiancée and I was craving for something sweet. When we saw the cinnamon buns and how big they were, we just had to have one. I was happy to hear that they would warm it for us. Along with the food, we got there house coffee. It wasn’t too strong and went well with the sweetness of the cinnamon bun. The frosting was just right — not too thick, not too sweet. The spices used was divine.
The second time here we ate an actual meal. We took 2 cinnamon buns home (1 to give to my mother cuz she loves cinnamon buns). We ordered an extra cinnamon bun for us to eat there. I had there house oatmeal. I was delighted to see that all the extras was placed in small containers around the hot oatmeal. That way I was able to put as much as I want. I took my time with it, mixing the brown sugar, raisins, and sliced almonds little by little. I wanted to feel satisfied and didn’t need all of it in the oatmeal. My fiancée got a full meal. He enjoyed the fact that everything was made out of organic products and tasted homemade.
The only downside is the price. But then again, it’s also the place it’s in. Any high class place would make the prices of foods higher.
However, in the end, it was all worth it. Hope to try other foods in the near future.

Love this place! We are local and eat breakfast and lunch at least once per week here. Very nice.

This place has great basic breakfast but horrible staff that do not know what they are doing! No trash cans anywhere so the tables are always full of empty plates and dirty tables! If it weren’t for the food I would never go back!!! Don’t try to order a pie from them either, they are not helpful!!!

Came here for breakfast and was surprised with how great the service was. Read several reviews on here and was a little concerned, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was really tasty as well. I had the Dave’s breakfast sandwich and everything tasted fresh. I will definitely be back soon

Great place to grab breakfast or brunch on the weekend. Good for kids, not too pricey. Cinnamon rolls are decent.

After years Cinnamon Productions is still my favorite for breakfast!

Customer service is from bad to worse. I went back for lunch because my friend wanted to eat there. Kids that work there don’t ever smile and don’t know how to ring up your order. Then the ‘spot rewards’ tablet wasn’t working due to no wifi. Asked cashier if she would put a not in my receipt for when I came back to get spot credit. She said sorry, no credit for future, even though it was CP problem. Hmmmm, I get punished for their CP problem-​now that’s great customer service!
Then my food order came out wrong. Same thing with ladies next to me. Too bad since the food is good. Oh well, Panera will get my business. I have been going to the CP in Rancho Santa Margarita for over 10 years since I get my hair cut up there. They are always nice, and SUPER busy. It’s no mystery why SC location is NEVER busy. Won’t be back to CP in San Clemente again.

I’ve been here a couple times:
Positives
–the raspberry balsamic is so good.
–club sandwich is good (order it on sourdough because the croissant is VERY buttery)
–peppermint mocha is better than Starbucks
–Apple pie is good
— cool cupcake décor for kids
Negatives
— only one cashier who makes the lattes and takes orders
— cinnamon rolls seem stale… Which is confusing because that is their specialty.

Here on a groupon! Good food. I had the huevos rancheros and while they were not your typical classic Mexican huevos rancheros– they were pretty darn skippy. I can’t complain on this Americanized twist to a classic dosh of my people. Cinnamon rolls though we’re dry. I wanted oooy goooey. Sucks because it’s called Cinnamon Productions. You’d think they specialized in cinnamon rolls. Staff was friendly and the people eating there too.

Looking for a place to get some work done, I came to CP this morning. I was glad to see they had outlets available (better than starbucks) and a good pastry and coffee selection. I confirmed when I ordered that they had wi-​fi. I decided to join their rewards program because it looked like a place I could come often. Upon trying to log on to Wi-​Fi, it looked like there was an issue with their internet so I asked the cashier if he could restart the router. He said «oh, it’s always like that. The wi-​fi doesn’t really work.»
Dear CP, Please do not advertise «Free Wi-​Fi» if you are not going to provide it. It’s false advertising and a waste of peoples’ time. You are making a bad name for yourself. I would have been a multiple times a week customer but now I’ll never return.

LOVE their food… breakfast, lunch (and sometimes breakfast for dinner) is delicious!
Service is so-​so (aside from the hispanic man who is often at the register, I think his name starts with an A… he has been EXCELLENT, in fact he deserves a promotion). I can’t tell you how many times I have walked up to the counter and have 3 employees walk past the register behind the counter and not acknowledge me. Not even, «We’ll be right with you». It’s ridiculous and very strange… who is managing this staff?
Food makes up for the lack of service, by far, so that’s why 4 stars. I can handle poopy service as the long as the food is good and it is beyond that.
Tip: Flatbread Lemon Chicken Sandwish is out of this world.

Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere. The salads are all excellent. I have ordered the pasta dishes to take home for the family and driven over from Dana Point to pick up lunch. The quiche and salad is a huge lunch for such a reasonable price.
A group of friends and I meet up there every Friday around 5 for a Bible Study. We all buy pastry to eat there or dinner to go. I wish they were open later on other days. I have stopped by around 4:30 or so with my granddaughter for cupcakes but they are closed at 4PM Mon-​Thurs. :(

This is a great place! Quality of food + pricing is right on. I ordered food to go with a Groupon. The flatbread chicken sandwich is delicious, and the citrus salad was light, refreshing and has a wonderful dressing.
The cinnamon rolls are soft and very fresh. They are room temperature, not warm, but heating them up would make the yummy icing melt off the roll. These babies are fantastic!
So glad i went… ill be back for sure.

This place is great! My friend and I came here for a late lunch and the food was pretty good, better then I was expecting actually. They have a really mellow atmosphere and with unlimited coffee refills this is a cool place to go eat and hang out for a while. The only thing I don’t like are the hours! We got there around 3:30 only to find out they close @ 4pm.

this place is great. I went there years ago and I wasn’t quite impressed. These days it’s different, change of pace healthy good food, great service

I am a regular customer of this location. Their coffee is just great! Every breakfast you get is delicious. They have a wide range of salads, a favorite of mine is the Oriental Chicken Salad, You can eat outside or inside. Everyone is friendly and courteous. There’s no long waits for your food order unless weekends :) They have every food you can think of. In simple terms, Cinnamon Productions is the best place around. And their customers come back almost daily to have their meals.
Is a nice place even to have some work done with your computer!

I’ve been here a few times for lunch so I guess this review would only be about lunch.
The best thing I’ve had is the Mixed Citrus Salad. The portion was decent, the greens and fruits were fresh, and everything just went well together. There was a good variety of fruits in it and I love that it comes with crumbly cheese. It’s a bit sweet for a salad but definitely not a bad thing. It actually works well for this. I probably should have sticked to this salad for lunch. For this salad alone, Cinnamon Productions deserve 4.5 stars for having something this good that I can love and appreciate.
The BBQ chicken salad was alright. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. It’s good if I’m hungry but even if I’m not, I have no problem eating at least half of it. It’s pretty boring for a salad but I crave protein once in a while. There were a few times when I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and the chicken tasted like it’s been sitting out for a while. It was dry and cold, like it’s been sitting in the fridge. It reminds me more of a «leftover» than «BBQ». It was unappetizing. Note to self: Don’t order BBQ chicken salad here.
My fiancé loves the club sandwich which looks really good. He is really picky when it comes to food so it’s probably a safe bet that most people would like it.
I have yet to try the other things that CP offers. The bakery goods look very tempting but I’m «trying» to be on a diet.
Service is above average most of the time. Sometimes, they have really good staff with great customer service. Can’t complain, really. They take your order at the front and bring you your food. Good casual lunch spot. It’s usually quiet enough inside if you want a mellow place for brunch or breakfast. There’s outside seating as well. I’ve seen a few customers with their dogs sitting out there.
