I went here for the first time a few weeks ago to get my eyebrows and lashes tinted. I had never had this done before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but when she finished my brows and lashes looked amazing! She waxed my brows too and was very gentle. I loved the brow tint and will go back for that! I went back again for her signature facial and loved that too! She customizes to your skin, is very attentive and explains everything she is doing and how it will work/​what to expect. I hadn’t had many facials before and she did an awesome job. The products smelled great too, blueberry, strawberry and acai. I could tell a HUGE difference in my skin right after she was done. Will be back for sure!

I have been seeing Karen since 2007. Back then, I read all the rave reviews about her in a mom’s club yahoo! group and gave her a try. What a great decision that was! She takes great care of my skin and has become a dear friend as well over the years. She is a beautiful person, both inside and out!
She never tries to ‘up sell’ me on products I don’t need. When she does make a recommendation, it is because it is something that actually makes sense for my skin and the results are always exactly what I was looking for. Also, the ‘price is the price’, i.e. you do not have to mess around with tipping because she doesn’t work for a salon that is taking a big cut off the total price. The prices she charges are definitely reasonable and fair. She is so great and my life and my skin are better for her being a part of it! Give your skin (and your heart) the gift of Karen; you will not be disappointed!

Karen was recommended to me by my cousin and ooohhh my goodness! She is amazing and such a sweetheart! The facial wasn’t too painful as previous facials I’ve had before in other spas and she gives a massage right after and oh my god let me tell you, the massage was incredible! I’ve never had such a great massage in my life! She seriously has hands of an angel! She applied mineral make up to my face right after the treatment so I didn’t go out looking all red after the treatment was done. After about 3 days my skin was glowing. I highly recommend Karen!

What an AMAZING facial! I saw Karen today and she is by far the best skin care professional I have ever gone to. She is friendly and very responsive to all of my skin care requests/​questions. Her personality is warm and she tailors the facial to your needs, asking questions about what you are wanting to accomplish. She adds massage to her facials which makes the experience over the top fantastic. Karen cares about pleasing her clients and I plan to continue getting facials with her on a regular basis.

I had tried facials from many different estheticians on the peninsula and never felt compelled to go back to any of them. Until I had a facial from Karen. That was eight years ago. Since then, I won’t go to anyone else. Karen knows my skin and what works for it, and (as another reviewer said) totally customizes the facial to my skin. Her scalp massages are divine. She is also the BEST at waxing. I always leave her feeling radiant and utterly relaxed. She’s also a truly lovely person.

I’ve been seeing Karen for years, following her as she has moved salons. Not only does she give one of the best facials I’ve ever had, she really takes the time to customize the treatment to your needs. The little touches, like a scalp massage while a mask does its work, make it a really wonderful experience. She recommends product when asked, but never pushes, as some others do. On top of all that, she’s funny, sweet, and interesting! What more could you ask for?

I’ve been seeing Karen for waxing for about five years, and think she’s fabulous. During the time I’ve known her, Karen has worked out of a few different places and I’ve followed her when she has moved. One of the best things is how easy it is to make an appointment through her appointment scheduling service, which also provides reminder calls. Karen is very personable and does a great waxing job. She doesn’t take forever and gets the job done right. She even goes back over the area with tweezers to get at all those teeny, tiny pesky hairs that don’t lift with wax. I appreciate that!
