Yay I’m a fan sums this large but friendly and cosy joint up really well. Great beer selection too, far beyond the usual Amstel /Heineken /Bud /Miller selection that you’d expect looking at the place from outside. Looks can be deceiving. Good old craic outside too, plenty of space and good beer selection outside too. Paddric was a friendly and evidently long standing barman who knew his beers well, knew his ABV % from memory(gotta be careful with those IPAs) and a generally sound guy to chat with casually over a couple of cold ones.

I’ve eaten once before AT The Office– it was just okay. This review is for a take out order. And I have three words for you… NOTHANKYOU! Chili Cheese Fries– just okay, chili was a little bland. But my biggest beef with these fries,(get it? Beef? Haha!) is check out the picture! Um… could I please have a full order? The full order that I paid for? Could you maybe spread the fries around box and try to fool me at least? I mean, I paid $ 9, $ 9!!! for this?!? Boooo! Next! Grilled Chicken Sandwich– This is the reason I ordered from the Office! I had a hankering for a chicken sandwich! Again– look at the pic. Looks kinda delish, right? WRONG! Oh my goodness! No flavor at all! Like none. The bacon and cheese couldn’t even help it. Could you slap a little salt and pepper on that bad boy?!? So sad. Waaaaa! No yummy chicken sandwich for me! Next! The Morning After Burger– This was the only item that I wasn’t pissed off about. It was good. A little over cooked, but at this point– beggars can’t be choosers. Again– no thank you! I’ll stick to The Patty Shack. Smaller menu, but better food.

This is where I usually go to have a drink alone after work. Sometimes a man needs time alone to relax. No women, no bro’s, just alone. I like the comfortable relaxing atmosphere here and the bar tenders always make me feel at home

I went here a couple days ago and I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and received it in reasonable time. To my surprise the chicken breast was raw on the inside and the worst part was that I was unaware of it and once I was halfway into the sandwich was when i noticed the pink center. After consulting the waiter he called over another worker there and they refused to refund me as they claimed I’ve eaten most of the sandwich. I was unimpressed with the costumer service. I also work at a restaurant and raw food is not the customers fault rather the mistake of the kitchen and we would politely offer a refund as it was a mistake on our part. I was not very upset of having to pay for raw food rather that I ate raw chicken and got really bad stomach troubles.

I came in for an early dinner with my sisters and were served by Paddric. He made our overall experience amazing by answering questions about the drinks and food. Fish tacos were tummy, as suggested!

I found my go to place for an Old Fashioned. Cat the bartender makes great ones and she’s super cool. I enjoy eating and drinking at the bar and meeting great people.

The management was kind enough to reach out and address the problem previously mentioned. Very professional. Thank you, Jackson.

This place is super divey so be prepared for that. Tables were insanely sticky & we were given one menu to share between 6 people at our table. There are plenty of tvs so this becomes the spot for watching on game nights. It’s great for big groups. They have a bunch of fun fire pits on their covered patio & bocce courts. Check ahead of time because I have yet to be able to actually play bocce as it has always been reserved for private parties. Parking is super limited, but there is a small lot. The flavored mojito was interesting and good, but a little too sweet. The margaritas were better. I had the redneck taco & it was really good. I never complain about there being too much pulled pork, but I do with the yummy polenta cake underneath would’ve been bigger so that it was a little bit more proportionate to the pulled pork.

Overpriced for mediocre food that I can cook myself at home. I substituted for a salad instead of french fries. The salad didn’t have as much greens as I would like, especially since I was charged an extra $ 1.50 for a salad that appeared to have wilted away in the refrigerator. The server was great making sure our drinks were filled; except he forgot to bring our utensils and napkins when our meal was brought out by a different staff member. I do like the ambience of the place and the set up of the outdoor seating. I probably would return to try their cocktails, so we shall see. Thank you.

As one of the only chill places for anyone between the ages 21 – 28 in the area(San Carlos/Belmont is boring as hell) this place gets a higher rating by default. Otherwise, it would probably be 3 stars. The food is pretty average, but the ambiance is pretty fun and it’s a great spot to watch sports games with friends/family. It can also be a pretty chill spot after 10pm or so for the adult crowd… but again, its San Carlos/Belmont…how much fun can you really have past 10pm. Overall, there aren’t too many places in the area that offer outdoor patio-type seating with dozens of TV’s and alch to go around… so go to The Office! What else are you gonna do?

Great atmosphere while watching the Sharks game. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the burger is a frozen patty. Yuck. Other than that, awesome bar!

Very nice to sit outdoors when it’s cold, as they have some big heat lamps overhead. It’s a little hard for service after an Adventure Run at the local Road Runner store, but the staff does their best. The Santa Fe burger is really good, but basically falls apart from the sogginess of the bun, so go the ‘ol knife and fork route when you get down to the nitty gritty. Decent selection of reasonably priced drafts and pitchers. There’s an outdoor bar too, and there’s tv’s in both the indoor and outdoor sections to catch any local games. Parking is rough though – if you can’t find any in their small lot, you can find some across the street. Just walk through the apartment complex in the middle and you can get right to the bar from across the street.

This place was great today. My waiter Ruben was so nice and helpful. The Office Cob salad was exactly what I was looking for when wondering where to eat. The way the light came into the building was perfect and the music was at the perfect volume. I’m going to do this again. Perfect experience. =0)

I don’t usually give bad reviews, and I actually like this place! The food and ambiance is great. This review is more so towards the customer service. Tonight, My boyfriend and I were very annoyed. We had to wave down multiple waiters throughout our meal and of course none of them saw us, we waited patiently for our waitress to remember us. I could totally understand if it was busy and she had a lot of other tables to tend to, but this was not the case! She was clearing off other tables and checking on them, but for some reason, she ignored us. After finally being noticed, we ordered our dessert, after another busboy brought our food, she sat down on her phone. We finished our dessert & were ready to leave at this point, we were waiting another 10 mins until our waitress would get off her phone. We tried waving down the waitress with the purple hair, but even she wasn’t paying attention and Was on her phone as well. I’ve worked in the food industry and retail before, and I’ve always gave 100% great customer service! So I would expect the same when I step into stores, restaurants, etc. unfortunately, not everyone could have the same work ethic. like I said, it wasn’t even busy tonight. Slow Monday night. The manager seriously needs to speak to its workers about good work ethic and how to treat paying customers. Customers will not come back if the customer service is shitty.

This place is great for hanging out with friends or family. Great place to catch any game. The patio is great with tv’s and fire pit. The food is good. Been here a few times and been pleased. Hey also have a good selection of happy hour appetizers. The only negative I can say is that the parking is horrible. Not a reflection on them, but sometimes when we drive by and decide to eat here we will just leave because we can’t find parking nearby.

I have been to the Office many times and it’s on ok place. Just know what you are getting when you go there. The Good; Lots of TVs for sports Lots of seating Bocce Ball and Cornhole Tons of craft beers on draft The Bartenders(this doesn’t include wait staff or management) Here are the only food items worth ordering TRUSTME the rest is crap; Chicken Strips, Shrimp yaya, fish tacos, patty melt, fried chicken sandwich The Bad; The rest of the food sucks The wait staff is inattentive The managers are RUDE On two occasions have had people I know had their belongings stolen on a busy Saturday — cellphone and a Gopro — probably the cliental Drink menu beyond beer is overpriced So overall I will continue to go to the Office and as long as I stick to the bar and order of the good list its an enjoyable experience. Trust me on the rest.

Come for happy hour! Food is quite cheap and their selection of beer is enormous. The servers were super nice and when I couldn’t decide what drink to order, they brought me 5 different samples. Happy hour food: sliders were delicious. Jalapeño poppers are to die for!!! So yummy! The buffalo bites were great as well. Bocce ball court: there’s just 1 so you will have to reserve a lane. The court is relatively small and very dim once the sun sets. But there’s ample amount of seating both inside and outside as well as heaters and fire pits to warm you up. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed myself here and it’s definitely somewhere I would come back to!

Came here for brunch over the weekend. The restaurant has a fun vibe yet family friendly with lots of outdoor seating. I thought it might not be the best idea to bring my 2 year old to a «bar and grill» place but surprisingly, it is a really great place for kids. I got the chicken tenders with salad, husband got a morning after burger with garlic fries and we shared an order of buffalo wings. The chicken tenders were really good, it came with 4 nice size pieces, cooked well with the right amount of breading. The burger was very mediocre, a bit over priced in my opinion($ 13.95 + extra $ 1.50 to upgrade to garlic fries). The fries were also cold. The buffalo wings was dry, hard and cold. It needed more buffalo sauce. Service was good and the food came out in a timely manner but I would only come back for the chicken tenders. There is a parking lot in the back.

So glad we came upon this place to watch a game at and to order some casual bites. We ordered the Shrimp yaya(shrimp in rich creamy sauce with dipping bread) also ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich. I must say that was a pretty good chicken sandwich. The other half ordered the Red Neck Tacos and that was good, but we both agreed that the Chicken sandwich was way better. I think they take reservations, so call ahead if you need to book a table.

Burgers, fish tacos, and wine on a Monday night. The burgers are made from Niman Ranch natural beef(no hormones or antibiotics). What buns are optionally available. The burgers are messy as they should be, sensationally prepared and seasoned. You get sauce, pickles, onion, lettuce and tomato. All of these marry together for a good burger experience. I ordered mine with shoestring potatoes(no extra cost); these were nicely done and appreciated. I recommend the regular Office burger and the fish tacos(below). The fish tacos are plentifully stuffed, tasty, and a dish that I will definitely order again. They are big and delicious with veges and sauce. The fish is not overly fishy, delivered well seasoned(spicy), and went well with our wine. The clam chowder is thick, creamy, and not overly dosed with clam juice. It went down well. The Bogle red table wine was just that. The onion rings were crisp and flavorful. The service was more than adequate, led by our waiter Daniel. If you ask for ice water, you get it and get it. Enjoy!

I always knew San Carlos had some pretty cool spots, but admittedly, I didn’t know much about The Office until coming here. Others clearly do though, given the crowd on a Wednesday night(though the Warriors game probably had something to do with it). Indoor and outdoor bars, TV’s, fire pits, a bocce ball court, and a ton of unique beers? Talk about a great spot to catch a game and grab a few rounds! Unfortunately, as terrific as all of that may be, the food wasn’t as impressive in comparison. The menu certainly looks great, what with all of the usual sports bar/grill favorites(starters, burgers/sandwiches, entrees, etc.). However, while I like that they go beyond the basics, most of what we had was rather lackluster. – CHILICHEESENACHOS with House Made Salsa and Sour Cream…$ 9 ( ) Perhaps ours was just a bad order? On the one hand, the salsa was good and there was a decent amount of cheese. At the same time, I didn’t see much chili(unless my friends ate all of it) and a lot of the chips were broken bits(bottom of the bag sized). – REDNECKTACO — A Cornbread Pancake with Savory BBQ Pulled Pork, House Made Coleslaw, and Fries…$ 12 ( ) I’m generally not high on BBQ sauce, but I fell for the name and the mentions on Unilocal. The coleslaw was fine and I liked the cornbread, though it got a bit soggy. However, the pork itself didn’t have much flavor beyond the BBQ sauce’s hickory sweetness. – CHICKENFRIEDCHICKENSANDWICH with Country Gravy, Lettuce, Pickles, and Onions…$ 12 ( ) I should have just ordered this instead of sharing two dishes with my friend. The chicken was thick, juicy, and crispy and I liked the acidity of the onions and pickles. The gravy was a nice way to round it out too, instead of honey mustard or mayo. Despite feeling underwhelmed by the food(save for the chicken sandwich, perhaps), I’d definitely come back to The Office to catch a game or to share a few rounds with friends. The Office is perfect for groups and can get pretty lively on game days/nights. If nothing else, being at The Office certainly beats the hell out of being at the office… THREEAND A HALFSTARS rounded down… for now.
