Mike is an excellent coach and is extremely passionate when it comes to obstacle course racing. He was always willing to answer any and all questions I had about training and gear/equpiment. If you’re looking for a coach to teach you the skills to take down the obstacles at any obstacle race, look no further. I had originally signed up for Mike’s obstacle course racing group class. While the class was cancelled due to not enough people signing up, Mike offered me an accelerated version of the course. Using the techniques and skills I learned from Mike, I had no difficulty whatsoever at the San Francisco Spartan Sprint(smashed my current Sprint record by almost an hour!) and suffered no burpee penalties!

Mike is hands down the best you can get when it comes to a motivating and knowledgeable trainer. He is always there to push you that extra bit and really brings out the best in every person he works with. I’ve spent the last year working out with Mike and over that time, I’m not only down 40 pounds, but I’ve run a Spartan Trifecta(the equivalent of 25+ miles of racing and 60+ obstacles) and have rediscovered the athlete I was in high school.
