Needed some custom deck stain and Steve, the Asst. Manager, was extremely helpful in patiently explaining how deck stain differed from regular paint, custom made me a batch in a hurry and was courteous and professional throughout. Thanks Steve!

my favorite paint, based on quality and application. This store usually does not have a line and they are helpful if you need to ask them stuff about your project.

They most likely have the paint color you need. The employees in the back of the store play grab ass and are loud and obnoxious, which i find to be unprofessional. Sales reps at the front of the store seem knowledgeable enough, but they always seem to make mistakes, and the store manager will make it known in front of the customer that the associate made the mistake. I do not like that, its uncomfortable as a customer, and it shows your people dont know what is going on. I have also come in several times and dealt with the store manager or assistant manager and spend $ 1,000’s of dollars on paint. As soon as the time comes when i give my painters name to get the discount for account holders it becomes a big deal to give me the discount. I dont think that is good business practice. Its not like i am some guy who dropped in to buy a gallon of paint. I am a returning customer buying a crap load. I would go back, but even sometimes I am hesitant and just want to go to home depot

This place is awesome. I have only purchased from them a couple of times(because I was too cheap and ignorant about quality paint). I will never buy any other brand of paint. I had my house interior painted with Home Depot paint, it only looked nice for a couple of years. Since having it redone with Kelly Moore paint– it still looks beautiful 4 years later. Now I am having the exterior done and I purchased Kelly Moore again. I had a problem where 1 of the buckets was the incorrect color. The store Manager(Jazz) corrected the problem and gave me 5 gallons on the house. What amazing customer service! !! I love this store! !!

The four stars are for the excellent paint quality and large location. Over the years I have had help in here that ranges from someone who could have majored in paint they are so knowledgeable to someone who couldn’t even get themselves off a chair to help a customer. Help in recent visits has been much more consistently helpful. I will continue to use them for my paint needs as I always have great results with their paint.

This place came through for me today they actually are the only place who had the egg shell paint I needed for my clients touch up project. We only needed a small can but they recommneded the full can since they are discontinuing that line of paint and rolling into a series of new paint types. Luckily I stumbled in on this one since most of the other stores do not carry it anymore. Sometimes you jsut get plain lucky. To top it all off the service was great and the guy referred me to a commercial sales associate who can help me get set up with a credit line to get even better pricing for my future projects. Not a bad day today saving money and making it happen for a client. All in a days work.

I will never, ever buy any other brand of paint as long as I live in the Kelly Moore Zone. What’s more, I will always shop at this particular Kelly Moore store because they have the best overall customer service, including a really good color matcher and very nice counter staff. Even though there is at least one other Kelly Moore closer to me, this is my favorite store. Why do I love Kelly Moore paint so much? First, it covers incredibly well. I used to always buy cheap Glidden or even expensive Behr, or moderately priced Olympic. I recently painted two rooms in our new home with Kelly Moore, on the advice of my landlord, and was amazed at how far the cans went in the big space I painted, and how creamy and easy to work the paint was. I’m not the best painter in the world but our room looks awesome, like it was profesionally painted. When I was ready to do the next room, I was seduced by a color I found at Lowe’s in Olympic, and the difference was a nightmare. The paint was smeary, streaky, and one gallon wouldn’t cover the entire small front room we are setting up as a study – a room with four walls, each of which has either a big door, a big closet door, or a big window. We decided we hated the color anyway, a deep orange, so I promptly went back to Kelly Moore and picked out a color called Jitterbug from their Historic Homes of the West collection. I not only covered the hideous pumpkin orange color on the wall, but I only used 2⁄3 of a gallon and only needed one coat, and the finish was spectacularly better than it was with the Olympic. Lesson learned. As long as it is available to me, I will never buy anything other than Kelly Moore. We did a third room recently with a beautiful blue called Sky and it looks amazing as well. I just find the paint seems to handle beautifully, cover spectacularly, and the colors seem to have a depth and vibrance that we don’t see with other paints. I particularly like the fact that they have the Historic Homes of the West collection which offers up modern versions of historic paint colors used on Craftsman, Victorian, Spanish Revival, and English Revival homes and we’ve found awesome color choices on those cards. One last tip: Don’t just look at the multi-chip sample cards in the wall display – pick up the booklets and the larger cards to the right and left of each display, like the Warm colors and Cool color booklets and the new booklet that has all the Historic Homes of the West selection. And if you like blue at all, we’re still madly in love with Jitterbug.
