Always trust your first instinct when it comes to restaurants. Walking in grabbing the first 3 trays that pinched my finger tips because they were cracked was hint #1 to leave the place. The veggie selections were wilted and soft at 6:00PM, hint #2. Hint #3 was the dishes and serving dishes were cracked and a bit challenging to use. All if this before we paid the $ 11.99 per adult rate not including the drinks. Ok so now for the food; the pasta noodles were well overdone they were falling apart on the fork and lacked flavor. Soups were full of broth but not full of the soup contents. Only good thing was the baked potato. This used to be a great place for healthy food. Just left Souplantation to rush home to use the restroom. This location is in serious need of a renovation. needless to say I will never be back at this location again.

My girlfriend and I took our daughters here for lunch, we were greeted with friendly smiles, and we were very impressed by Greg the manager who was so kind enough to come by the table to personally check on the service. The food was fresh and very tasty. The restaurant was clean but most of all the staff so attentive to service and friendly. Greg the manager is definitely making sure people are satisfied and want to go back… we sure will.

First off, let me start off by saying the food is GREAT! Absolutely no problems there. This review is for their poor customer service. Namely for the gentleman who works there named Mike. I took my wife on a lunch date and like I said the food was great. Finished eating and we left. We got to our next destination and she noticed she did not have her purse with her. Last place she had it was at soup plantation. So I called them and a gentleman named Mike answered. I asked if anyone turned a purse in and he promptly said no. He said and I quote«my managers haven’t brought up any purses lately.» He left it at that so I asked him if he could go see if it was still at our table and he repeated that«none of his managers have brought a purse back and they are constantly walking around» I again asked if he could go look or have someone else go look at the table we sat at and I would tell him the area we sat it and he replied with«you’re more than welcome to come back and look for yourself.» So I went back, went to the table we sat at, and lo and behold there was my wife’s purse. I stopped to speak to a manager who was not wearing a name tag and he didn’t seem too concerned about the matter either and said he will talk to Mike. Very disappointed in their lack of compassion towards their customers. I will also be forwarding this review to their corporate office. What started out as a delicious lunch date with my wife turned out to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I can’t even begin to explain how disappointed I am in their lack of customer service

The costumer service was amazing. The workers really went out of their way to make sure I found a vegan option. They even cooked me a serving of pasta so it was vegan friendly. Haven’t had service like that in a very long time and the food was very good. My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning.

We love Souplantation, but this location needs management. They did not have enough dining room staff to keep the place cleaned up, they did not have their baking process organized because there was no bread and they seemed to be totally disorganized. We will give them one more chance, but there are other locations and restaurants in the area. Phyllis and Greg — Beaumont, CA

Fresh vegetables, salads, and soups are my favorite food! Its basically heaven when I come here. The staff are always nice and friendly. This location is smaller than others but it is rarely crowded. The food is fresh and refilled quickly. The veggies are fresh. The salads are great but have too much dressing in them. The soups are always my favorite of all especially the cream of mushroom and chicken noodle soup.

Ive been here a handful of times over the years, and its never a disappointment, nor is it mind-blowing. It just is what it is. Its always been a tad pricey, unless you came to gorge yourself. To me, this is not the place for that. This is where you come if you are hungry when you are attempting to eat healthier. I said attempting. The salad bar has always been good. Plenty of fresh ingredients to customize your own salad, and a nice little selection of pre-made salads you can eat as is, or add a little sumpin sumpin to it. I’ll say this much, I’ve never seen a wilted leaf or non-fresh vegetable here. My only criticism of the salad bar is that the Bleu Cheese dressing is too runny, and doesn’t have nearly enough actual Bleu Cheese chunks in it. What can I say? I love Bleu Cheese. The soups are 50⁄50 hit or miss. The French Onion soup is pretty good, especially with a slice of French Bread or Garlic Focaccia to dip it in. The Chicken Noodle is better than Campbells, just a little bit. The Clam Chowder is pretty damn good. The Corn Chowder w/Bacon is great, especially when you dip Cornbread in it, YUM. The Ratatouille tastes like Rat Patootie. Gross. I started getting a headache after two bites. The Chili is alright, better also with Cornbread. The Pasta option vary. Last time I went there I had Vegetable Ragu w/Penne that was OK. I could have made it better with a budget of $ 5. One time I went there(I still remember years later it was so good), and they had a LEMON– peppercorn(?) pasta that was just spot on. The Mac-and-Cheese is always a kid favorite. The Baked-Potato bar is awesome, I like using a TON of butter, sour cream, and cheese. You can do that here, screw the person next to you looking at you like«What a fatass.» They even have baked Sweet-Potatoes. If that’s your thing. The Focaccias are good, and you can pass them off to the kids as «mini-pizzas.» I prefer the Garlic-Cheese focaccia. The Muffins are good, better with milk and butter. I don’t always sample them, because the COBBLER is right there, and is great! The drinks are pretty good. The Lemonades(regular and strawberry) are good. The Raspberry drink is alright.(like SOBE lifewater) The Acai Green tea is a tad bitter, but pairs well with lemonade a la Arnold Palmer. Milk is milk. Water is water. The Ice Cream sundae/cone bar is standard. A nice little treat. Your kids will get excited about it like they were at Farrell’s. The staff is constantly busy cleaning up everyone’s constant messes, but still manage to be nice. The restaurant is as clean as the crowd at the time. The bathrooms are OK.

I love Souplantation. This location was lacking in customer service BIG time, I dont think one employee said hi, thank you, have a nice, may I assist you, etc. I even stacked all my used dished and napkins nicely at the edge of the table. They also did not carry some of the iced teas that other locations carry. Well I did enjoy the salad and I guess if I wanted a quiet lunch, this hit the spot! Might be back if in the area and craving it, but not going out of my way.

I love Souplantation! Always plenty of fresh, healthy veggies and salads to chomp on, guilt free(well, unless you drown your salad in dressing like some people). They keep this place really clean and well stocked. I’ve never stopped in to grab lunch where something I wanted on my salad(and I put almost EVERYTHING on my salad) wasn’t there waiting for me. Trust me, I’ve been to SOME Souplantations where you have to ask the employees to restock something… or LOTS of things. This is pretty admirable of this Souplantation since they get a MAJOR lunch rush from all the County employees in the nearby buildings. My favorite prepared salads/dishes are the oriental chicken salad: slightly sweet, little FREE slivers of chicken and crunchy won ton stips; and the the Joan’s Broccoli Madness: very sweet sauce with cranberries cashew pieces and crunchy broccoli(this dish is more than likely NOT healthy, but I eat it as a desert of sorts). The soups are constantly being replaced here as well, never leaving you to scrape the bottom of the container. Here, my favorite is the Clam Chowder(which I top with a little green onion and cheddar cheese from the baked potato bar) and the chili(ditto with the cheddar cheese). I tend to stay away from the«Carb Counter»(fresh bakery stuff) but it’s all pretty good. The focaccia(or, as my niece calls it «pizza bread») is always fresh, as well as the variety of biscuits, muffins and breads they put out. Oh, and if you have little ones that don’t like soups and salads, the pasta counter tends to have a simplified version(no meat) of a spaghetti type dish and mac n’ cheese. This counter, coupled with the bakery stuff, typically keeps my kid(s) happy.

Food is ok I guess, but way too pricey for salads & basically food that will not fill you up for long. Now in days it’s more expensive to eat in «healthy» restaurant — waste of my money.
