The grilled home made bread is really good! Also, be sure to check out their specials written on the boards! Great prices for great service, great food, and a good experience!

Nothing fancy, paper plates! But, I’ve been back a few times. Great food. We’ve had breakfast a few times. Omelets, potatoes, their homemade bread is yummy!

Love the toast made with fresh-baked bread. Biscuit and gravy is a bargain.

They have a good roast beef sandwich and all the soups are homemade. They make their own bread and owner Jacob is very nice. Kabow!!!

Dirty, dirty, dirty! Walked in, sat down for 2 mins and walked out. It looked like one of the tables hadn’t been cleared from breakfast(I went for lunch!) Needless to say, I won’t go back ever!

I went there with my boyfriend last Friday because we heard they had good food and reasonable prices. The prices are unbelievable for the taste and look of the food! I was not disappointed at all. We were satisfied with $ 7 worth of food which is surprising because a trip to Baguette cost $ 8 per person.. We ordered two gyros and I ordered a coke. When we went to pay, the manager came out and gave us like a million samples. Him and his wife were very warm and welcoming :) It’s not the most beautiful restaurant, but its friendly and comfortable. The food is so good! Please go and try the gyro. It has lamb in it, and I was hesitant at first(because lamb) but it was really really good! They have a lot of Arabic food that isn’t on the menu but the staff is friendly so don’t hesitate to ask. Try the grape leaves! Delicious! I will definitely return! Still craving those grape leaves!

Delicious and cheap breakfast! The pancakes were huge and fluffy and the server was polite and friendly. The chef poked out from the kitchen to ask us how to food was.

Went here for lunch. The only thing I can say is it’s cheep and that’s it. The meat in my Shawarma beef wrap was dry and filled with gristle and fat. The inside is dirty, needs paint and a really good scribbling being the floors where sticky. All the food is on disposable plates. Would not go back and will not recommend to anyone

We chose Jouni’s because of their reviews on Unilocal.I was really hoping to have a five star experience. I came away less than impressed. The food was just okay and the service, well… it wasn’t awful. Would I go back? Probably not.

This place is amazingly cheap! It’s quite hidden on 40th street and kendall. Their meals are very cheap! All UNDER $ 10! I love their omlette’s, the 2×2×2(pancakes eggs and bacon), and their sandwiches. It’s always fresh and delicious! Even tho it looks old and«ghettos» it’s a great place to eat especially when you’re on a budget. Service is great; very friendly. I would definitely come back more often(:

Great service. Clean atmosphere. But do I really have to listen to country music blaring in my ear? Food was ok. Tomato bisque was more like a salty paste. I asked for the turkey dumpling instead and it was much better. Wasn’t blown away so I probably won’t return.

ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS! It’s a little dicey place, but don’t let thy sway you. The food is so good and the staff is extremely friendly. Coffee was made fresh so I had to wait a few minutes but well worth it. Eggs made to order, bacon and two slice of French toast was done quickly and, as I’ve said, delicious. Ill be back for lunch soon to see how that is too.

This place is a GEM! Seriously it may be one of the weirder settings and thus people probably do not visit very often. However, the GYRO is amazing. If it wouldn’t make me feel guilty, I would order two GYRO’s. Also, the baklava is authentic and the philo is crunchy and light. Give it a chance because it is a no risk proposition. This is the cheapest priced place you will eat at since the sandwiches are $ 3.50!!! Are you kidding?

Ok so yes this place is far from fancy but please dont judge upon that! The people who own this place are the nicest and the food is super delicious and unlike fast food they use real ingredients and make everything from scratch! Their bread is fresh and delicious, they have great breakfast, and great sadwiches! Not too mention, their mediterrean food is flavorful and soo aunthetic. I cant wait to go back and try their salads and their falafels!!! Please give these people bussiness, we need good food in san bernardino and not another mc donalds!

My buddies and I found this place here on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. This place is simply AWESOME. Food: The food was typical American style breakfasts and lunch(eggs, bacon, sausage, soups, sandwiches, etc). These also have Mediterranean food that I’ll be sure to check out next time I’m there. I had hot links, 2 eggs, potatoes, and toast. Everything was really good, a little on the greasy side though. The potatoes were awesome and included sauteed onions. Their toast is homemade and delicious. The portions are quite large. Prices: The prices here are pretty much unheard of anywhere else. Everything is a flat price, meaning tax is included. My hot links, 2 eggs, potatoes, and toast came out to $ 4. They also have a similar plate substituting ham for the hot links for $ 3.25 or something ridiculous like that. Coffee was $ 1.25 and I had three refills. I don’t think I saw anything on the menu over $ 6, and those meals included drinks. Staff: The staff is extremely friendly and aside from the great prices, are really what make this place special. Atmosphere: This place has the feel of a soup kitchen almost, but that made me like it all the more. Food is served on those heavy duty dixie plates, and the utensils are the plastic one time use ones you’d get at any fast food joint. The environment was very mellow and comfortable. The other patrons were very friendly and had only great things to say about the place. Overall: This is a great place for college students or anyone wanting a hardy breakfast or lunch at a great price. This is a local business definitely worth checking out and supporting. p. s. they DO take DEBIT but there is a .50 charge. Also, Cal State San Bernandino student gets .50 off their bill.

Stopped by out of curiosity, being the foodie that I am! Picked up a menu. I was greeted by the main cook/owner and some chick. Nice people! Returned the next day to try the breakfast. All I have to say is that I will definitely be back. All I had was the basic breakfast, 2 eggs(cooked to your liking), a good slice of ham, half a plate of home style potatoes and a large piece of toast made from their homemade bread. $ 3.00 flat! Tax is included. Added a cola for .75 cents. Very good breakfast food, very good price, very nice people. Bang for your buck! I will be back to try the other food and update the info. Cash only. The four stars is solely based on the food, price and friendliness.

I came here for the first time today and I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Pick up a menu next time you are passing by! It’s not the nicest decorated(as in brand sparkly new tables, benches), but it was clean and the man and woman(I’m assuming they were husband and wife) were very nice. I ordered the half sandwich & cup of soup combo for $ 3.25, yes $ 3.25!!! It was about a 5 inch long turkey sandwich, and the clam chowder soup. VERYGOOD! Sodas are served in cans, breakfast is served all day, Seafood only available on Fridays(clam chowder) and other«special» menu items for the day are posted on a board when you walk in. Oh, and they are CASHONLY!
