A casual, low-key, and quite frankly hidden Persian Kebab place. I’ll be honest not too much of a fan. I’ve had good kebab at other places which I will say is more«upscale» in comparison but this hole in the wall place is just okay. The portion size is very small and for the price of close to $ 10 totally not worth it. I ended up just carbing up on the bread and butter and all the rice. The size of the meat is so small.

This place is so gross, food presentation and quality is unacceptable. Will not be returning. I question myself why this place even in business…

Waaayyy overpriced! Worst«filet mignon» kabab I’ve ever had, must’ve been made a week in advance and then microwaved! The rice had no flavor, hummus was store bought and drenched in oil and the bread was cold and tasteless! I wanted a combo of chicken and beef kabob and the waitress failed to tell me that it will cost me $ 25 for 2 kabobs! One star cause the canned diet coke was on point! Even though they charged me almost 3 bucks for it –___–

So my bf told me about this place, apparently he has been coming here for a while, and since his job was so close to it he told me to go get food from there one day. So I did, they have pretty good lunch specials, its not the best place to go sit and eat it, since the décor is very outdated, but to get a quick bite to eat for a good price, this place is pretty good… only thing they didnt have that every Persian food place does with its kabobs is the garlic white paste??? i dunno, I asked for it and the lady said they didnt have it :(

Lunch plates are basic; meat, rice, and a quarter tomato. Nothing special, nothing amazing but basic.

Little gem of a place, the chicken shish-kabob is top notch, good hummus, excellent side dishes, really is a great little venue for lunch or dinner.

Seriously amazing. It’s San Bernardino, so choices are slim ! There’s a dish in here for all sorts of people. Chicken and rice is so good ! Healthy too!

I have tried their stews(ghormeh sabzi, gheimeh bademjan) and the beef and chicken kabobs and the food is very good. My personal favorite is the Sultani with a side of the cucumber yogurt. The only complain I have is that this restaurant does NOT keep regular hours or stay open according to the hours of operation they have posted in the window. They open late and close down early. Also, they are sometimes out of certain stews. If you are craving something in particular, you might want to call ahead to make sure it’s being served that day.

I ordered take out from this place, and while it was fast, and the food was warm, it was not the best quality. When I asked the waitress if there was a falafel plate, she didn’t know what falafels were! The hummus was terrible – it sat in a pool of oil –not olive oil, — and it tasted store bought– no flavor. Sabras makes a better hummus. It had some sort of red chili paste in the middle, and I just could not eat it. The grape leaves, not rolled like traditional grape leaves, had some sort of mystery meat in it, which saddened me because I am a vegetarian and stuffed one in my mouth while I was driving back to work! All in all, I ordered the veggie plate, which consisted of rice, green pepper-tomato kebab, hummous, and grape leaves, and it cost $ 19.91 – way over priced for a lunch order that was NOT impressive or worth the cost.

I have dined here since 1990, and while the Persian family that opened the place have retired, the new owner has faithfully maintained the house recipes, except the art of rolling grape leaves, bit the kabobs are amazing. Since I work nearby, I pop in for lunch to get either a #2 chicken kabob with basmati rice, a #4 filet mignon kabob, or a #3 Cornish game hen kabob(more labor intensive because of the bones). For $ 7.95−8.95, the dishes are always consistent. Sadly, service is lacking, so be patient. I get my order in ASAP, especially if I see a large party sitting down. So, the fair assessment is this: service C+; Food B+ to A. While I bagged on the grape leaves’ appearance, they taste how they are supposed to, which is delicious.

We will definitely return! This was our second time at Inland Kabab. This time we ordered the lamb chops, chicken with special rice(rice with lentils, dates, and raisins), and a very tender beef in a tangy stew. We also ordered Persian ice cream for dessert. Other than that the order may have had a mistake(my son thought he was ordering the special rice with a chicken stew) we were very pleased. The beef, chicken, and lamb chops were all tender, moist, and flavorful. We loved the special rice and the ice cream was full of chopped pistachios. Is it authentic Persian food? I don’t know, but it was delicious! The a/c was not freezing, the bathrooms were clean, and we had good service. The 4 stars instead of 5: Difficult to get clear responses to our questions from the wait staff during both visits. Example: We asked for extra napkins and received a bowl of dates

The food was very tasty par with other Persian/Kebab restaurants I have been to. A little pricy for the small portion size and the inside was warm, please splurge for A/C!

Unreasonably high prices for an average food quality. Specially for dinner, I pay the same price($ 20 or more per person) and have a perfect food with live music in the best restaurant.

My lack of enthusiasm about this place is already reflected in my ratings now let me convey that in my writings. O.K., So-So, it’s aight… my adjectives for describing this place Nothing special or stand-outish about this place but the serving size. I oredered the koobideh dinner and my koobideh was huge; just not that memorable. I absolutely love persian food so I was hoping this would be my go to restaurant for those cal-state nights. But no!

Ordered the chicken kabab with basmati rice to go, and it was juicy but very bland. I’m sad I was disappointed because I was so excited to try it here!

I am new to the area, and everyone has been raving about this place, so I decided to try it out. Well, I suppose due to lack of competition in the area, people consider this place great… not by any normal standards it is not. Can’t blame the people, since they must not known what real Persian food is suppose to taste and look like. The meat that they claim to be «filet» is most likely a cheap select grade sirloin at best. The plate looks half empty, with loose rice, scattered pieces of uneven meat, with a quarter of a grilled Roma tomato, and tiny grilled onions and bell peppers. The served Armenian lavash bread is cut into child size uneven pieces, and no herbs, radishes, or onions are brought to the table. Their dugh(yogurt drink) is the most disgusting dugh i have ever tasted. Any fast-food type middle eastern and/or Persian restaurant in the Los Angeles area serves superb quality of food compared to this place! Although, this place can’t be compared to anything I have ever had, it’s a shame that they have a sign saying that they are a Persian restaurant!

I love inland kabab’s food! I don’t usually eat in the restaurant, but I’ve never had a problem with the owner’s wife when I do. She’s actually really nice. Anyway, the chicken kabab is super tasty! It’s so moist and full of flavor. If you get them for lunch, it’s cheaper and they don’t skimp on portions.

Was going to go to Thai Place, but my mom sounded a little apprehensive eating there.(keep in mind, i didn’t have Unilocal to help me find this place. just gps only) So she said how about Persian. Ok. I love Persian. Tiny little restaurant. Was the only ones there. They served lavash with butter first. YUM! Had the lamb chops and my mom had the beef kabab. OMG!!! TOTALLYFLAVORFUL!!! WOW!!! This is the little bit of hole-in-the-wall that is overlooked. So tender. PLEASEPEOPLEWHOLIVEHERE, GIVETHISPLACE A SHOT!!!
