Whip Stitch Custom Cakes

Whip stitch was able to accommodate my request with short notice and truly delivered. We ordered a 2 tiered strawberry cake with butter cream frosting and the cake was moist and delicious while the frosting was perfectly balanced to enhance the flavor… Loved it !!!

Ordered a 2 tier cake for my baby shower. Like most people now a days my imagination went as far as Pinterest lol. All I did was show them a pic and change the cake colors to my shower colors. The cake came out awesome it looked just like the picture I found online. Customer service was excellent and they were very patient with me when we were discussing price and design. I love strawberry cake so I chose the whole cake strawberry. My guests loved it! Most people like chocolate or white, strawberry is last on their list but the cake was gone in about 10 minutes people were back for thirds!
The cake was so moist that you could hear your fork hitting the wetness/​sponginess before you took a bite! Now that’s an awesome cake!
I will definitely be returning for future cakes.

Awesome! We ordered a Powerpuff Girls/​Big Hero 6 cake and cookies for my baby sister’s 3^rd birthday party at the beginning of the month, and by the end of the month, it was ready. I would really recommend this place if you want a custom cake.

As soon as I walked into the Whip Stitch bakery, I was treated to an awesome cake aroma. To my left, cake decorators were busy rolling fondant and layering cakes with handmade butter cream frosting. To my right, a friendly face greeted me as I attempted to submit my first payment for a friend’s daughter’s sweet sixteen cake.
My first encounter with Whip Stitch actually came a few months earlier for our friend’s son’s birthday; the most exquisite two layer Lego cake in bright colors stood on display at the end of the large table at Peter Pipers Pizza. At first, I was a bit timid– the sides of the cake were so smooth, it HAD to be fondant– as I don’t care much for fondant encompassed cake as far as taste. But the sides were actually expertly smoothed-​out butter cream frosting! And even the vanilla cake impressed me with the moistness inside!
So when my friend insisted on using the same bakery again for her daughter’s sweet sixteen, I was already excited. I simply emailed a photo of exactly what the birthday girl wanted (a teal colored cake with cascading white flowers falling down the three layers wrapped with matching teal ribbon), and they made it happen… Including finding the ribbon. The birthday girl also wanted chocolate and vanilla cupcakes… All of which showed up on time to the party destination on a rainy day.
When we finally tasted the cake… Both the chocolate and the vanilla cake was AMAZING. All the times we made payments on the cake, the staff was super helpful and efficient. I am still in awe about the amazing buttercream frosting… Not too sweet, and can taste the real butter taste!
I recommend this bakery for any special event! I am hoping to use them for my birthday cake needs a month from now!
