Great service, great food, clean, and nice people. A San Antonio landmark. I love this place.

Went through the drive thru trying to get some pancakes and they messed my order up! Instead I got a breakfast platter that wasn’t very good. Check your bags before you drive off.

I eat from this location every Tuesday and yesterday I ordered a whatachick’n sandwich and when i was in the drive thru a staff worker named Dominic scratched his testicals before he gave me my order and after I seen him do that I took the choice of not eating that sandwich.

I brought a group of about 40 Ohio high schoolers to the area, and we had a short time frame to grab some dinner. I called about a half hour before we arrived, and the manager eagerly answered that they would be ready for us. They served our group quickly, with fresh and good food, and continued to provide service in the dining room after they were served, offering to get refills and asking where the group was from. What a great welcome to Texas!

I’ve been coming to this location for years and I’m extremely disappointed with my last visit. I ordered the number 11 grilled chicken sandwich and I have now had food poisoning the entire day since very early this morning. On top of that the service wasn’t so great but I was going to overlook that until I spent my entire day sick in bed.

Texas and Whataburger go together like San Antonio Spurs and championship basketball:) Especially since Whataburger is now based out of San Antonio. I usually get the same thing — Bacon cheeseburger, but have been known to slip the chicken strips in. The food is always made to order, so it is always fresh. They bring it to your table and always ask if you need anything else. Of course you have to get the spicy Whataburger catsup(and if you are hooked on that, you can get it at HEB). The help is always friendly, and they really try to make sure you are completely satisfied. They also seem to do a great job in hiring both our Senior citizens and special needs folks. I have to have a Whataburger at least once a month, don’t you? It sure makes you glad to live in Texas. I am thinking about those chicken strips now. I may have to go back real soon:)

I normally love this place. They have some of the best burgers and fries. However, I decided to try something new this time. I ordered the #11 Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo with fries & a diet coke. The fries were cooked, but soggy — as if the grease had not been hot enough. The chicken was wildly over-seasoned, and tasted like a frozen breast. The wheat bread was super dry. I asked for mayo and got a quarter-sized amount. And the diet coke was really low on syrup, so it was basically carbonated water. I asked the carhop to let them know it was almost out, and all she said was«mmkay!» And walked away. Didn’t offer to get me a fresh one or offer another beverage. I also asked for ketchup and received none, and had to ask twice for a straw. All things considered, I normally have no complaints about this place, but one bad experience can make you think twice about going to a particular location.

Very good burger that is bigger than it initially looked. The service staff looked disinterested though — it didn’t detract from the food quality though.

Pretty good local Whataburger. If you have to pick between here and the Arby’s, definitely go here. The people at Arby’s look like they are used to no business and wander why you showed up to make them do something. Delicious food. Have a great order accuracy. Good management can be seen by the employees. Overall a great place to go.

This Whataburger falls about average in terms of quality with food often luke warm and sloppily assembled. The drive-through and dining room is frequently backed up, even during off-peak times. Fortunately, despite long waits, sloppy, and arguably warm food, it still tastes like Whataburger. Until this side of town gets a second location further North to alleviate traffic, this is as good as it gets if you have a whatacraving.

Whataburger has the best fast food burgers you can get. I’ve been going to this location for years, and the service has always been great and the restaurant is always kept clean. Over the years the chain has added a few items to the menu, and now there is a great selection of hearty, delicious items. And if you’ve never been to one before, they are especially famous for their regular and spicy ketchup.

Five stars for sure!!! I work near by and eat here at least once a week. The food is consistently hot and delicious and the staff is always friendly. Keep up the great work this is definitely my favorite whataburger

I’m not really sure how to review a fast food joint. I’ve only been to a couple of Whataburgers and they all seem to be consistent in providing the same quality of food which is higher than the average fast food place. I do have to say that we frequent the Evans location because it’s the closest to our house and my husband gets an employee discount. The service is always quick and extremely friendly(not sure if it’s because they know he works at corporate) and they always go gaga over our baby girl which is kind of sweet. If you’ve never been to Whataburger, I suggest trying the Chop House Cheddar Burger. It’s artery-clogging good! The breakfast menu also has quite a few tasty options. The only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is because sometimes the fries come out a little soggy but this definitely isn’t the norm.

Whataburger indeed! Why 4 stars you say? Because I’m not from San Antonio, that’s why. I only get to have this behemoth of a burger every once in awhile which is probably why I don’t weight 350lbs. Oh, and it kicks the crap out of McDonalds, just sayin’…

Probably my favorite thing about whataburger is the music they play. Be sure to ask for ketchup and mayo because I think they serve the burgers with just mustard(that or I just didn’t have enough mayo on it). Their burgers seem to have a fresher more homemade flavor to them. But as my wife said McDs is better and cheaper. I’d like this place much better if it had a dollar menu. My wife and I can eat at McDs for 6 or 7 bucks when this place is about 13.(for both of us)

It’s clean and in a good location just off 281 on Evans road. I tend to oak up Herr have lunch(which let’s be honest is the same regardless which ever whataburger you hit up — you know what you’re going to get — a really good burger) then walk over to the walgreens next door to shop. Only down side to this place is if you want to travel east on Evans the turn around by the old HEB can be very busy and almost dangerous to navigate — in no way is that a judgement on the establishment though.

I don’t usually review chains, but someone’s gotta stand up for my neighborhood Whataburger, fo shiz! I have very fond memories of hanging out here late at night with friends, or dropping by for some chicken strips and sweet tea after a bad day. It’s your typical Whataburger. Drive-thru takes longer than your average fast food restaurant, but the food is always piping hot. Friendly, prompt, clean. I really miss this place when I leave for school on the west coast. I’ve been coming here for half a decade, and have never had any bad experiences here. A couple times they have messed up my order slightly, so check your food before you drive off. The dining room(not just the drive-thru) is now open 24 hours!
