I frequent this Walgreens and usually purchase cards, make-up and snacks. My prescriptions are usually bought at Costco or Walmart just out of habit over the years. Recently, I had a few prescriptions called in to this Walgreens for convenience. I was shocked that my usual scripts were $ 15-$ 20 higher priced at Walgreens! I asked the pharmacist if this was normal(since it is through my insurance co-pay). I was told that Costco and Walmart get scripts cheaper and don’t charge as much(actually lower than my copay). For this reason, I simply can’t use Walgreens for prescriptions in the future.

HAROLD, please work on acknowledging and thanking the customers you are checking out instead of talking around them to other people in line. We are paying customers too, but we don’t like to give our business to places that make us feel less important. No hello, no thank you. Just irritation from you that I didn’t swipe my card correctly.

I will start off by saying that I do not have any complaints about the actual store at Stone Oak Pkwy and Huebner Rd. My complaint is on the mngr JOHN. I went into the store on 11−18−14 around 7:30 in the evening. I went in and got what I wanted and then went to go check out. When I got into the check out line it was already 4 deep. The line is going slow, by no fault of the check out girl who was very nice, and after a few minutes the line is now 7 deep. And while I am waiting in line there was a guy with a gray vest on that cut in between myself and the lady in front of my without even saying excuse me. When he did that he was all up in my personal space as there was only 2 ft between myself and the lady in front of me. At that point I did not know that he was JOHN, the mngr, I did not even know that he was an employee. I just thought that he was a just another A$$hole who had no consideration for anybody but himself. Then I see him come back into the store bringing in a couple of carts. So now I know that he works there. And he is just kinda hanging around the check out counters not doing much of anything. I seemed to me that he was just peacocking in front of ALL the customers that are in line. Making sure that everybody saw his thick mane of dark hair, which frankly needs to be chopped off, and he was wanting EVERYONE in line to see his pretty little vest. By the time that the lady in front of me is finally at the counter checking out the check out girl gets on the speaker and is asking for someone to help her because the line is just getting longer and longer. Meanwhile JOHN is standing by the other register, again peacocking… I was kinda expecting him to pull out a fan so that he could have the fan blowing his hair with his hands running through his hair and shaking it out like a hair model. Ok Ok… Well the point is that when she was on the speaker asking for help JOHN was standing right there and then just turned around and walked outside. So now it is my turn to checkout and JOHN is back by the other register just standing looking like a … So I ask the girl checking me out who the guy with the vest is. And she tells me that he is JOHN the mngr. And I asked her why he was not helping her checkout the long line of people. And I asked her if JOHN the mngr feels that he is too good to be behind a register because he can clearly see the long line of customers which keeps growing longer and walks out to grab a couple of baskets. And that he has stood right by the other register and heard you on the speaker asking for help and he just walks out of the store. I told her that John is a sorry excuse for a mngr and that I felt sorry for her having to work for such an egotistical inconsiderate person who gets the pay of a mngr without working like one. So the checkout girl tells JOHN that I want to speak with him, which I did not as I know that he would not care about what a frequent customer would have to say. And she tells him this about 4 maybe 5 times and as I am paying JOHN finally walks around the other counter and stands in front of my with his arms crossed and a posture full of attitude along with a look on his face that read«You are a stupid B**** and I can not believe that you would have the audacity to say anything less than flattering about me». So John finally speaks to me and says in a very condescending tone laced with disdain«What, You wanted to talk to me». I just looked at him and said«No I do not wish to speak to you as it would do no good». Then he just turned around and walked off. And then to top it off as soon as I get out to my vehicle I can see into the store and who do I see at the register… JOHN. Although when I was in the store POORJOHN could not figure out how to work the register by the time I walked out I guess he remembered and he help one customer.

The friendliest Walgreen staff are right here! My wife recently broke her leg and is unable to drive so I have been there weekly. The pharmacy and its staff are the friendly faces you will ever meet. They even helped talk to our insurance company and process a claim without hesitation. They go above and beyond. I will drive the extra few miles from now on! Thank you all!
