Great prices, excellent service and authentic Mexican food. Salsa was pretty hot for me, but friends thought it was just right.

As I commented this is authentic delicioso. They have a gray atmosphere and the tortillas were awesome. I will definitely come back again.

This food was really good. Our server tried telling us that it was a lot of food but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs if you know what I mean. We got the nachos, chicken and shrimp. SOGOOD! We also got fajitas with chicken, shrimp, and beef. We barely touched our fajitas because the nachos were so good. All of our food was great and we are looking forward to our leftovers. I would go back if I visit San Antonio again.

We were in town for a cheerleading competition and came here on a whim. We had a fantastic meal! The mini beef fajita tacos are to die for!

RESTROOMS: Clean. Need to throw trash more often. DININGAREA: Looks great but they need to clean tables faster after customers leave. They were dirty tables that were not cleaned. MEXICANFOOD: Fajita plate was great. The only thing I did not like was the refried beans. The tortilla were hard. My husbands barbacoa tacos was to greasy and the carne asada was okay. My daughter ordered nachos they were burnt. Loved the tea, it was sweeten just the way I like it. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Need improvement. My waiter was Dan. I WOULDCOMEAGAINIFTHEYIMPROVEONTHEAREAS I MENTIONED. ALLINALLMYEXPERIENCEWASOKAY.

Server was very nice, food was not good. I ordered a chile relleno which was in a red thin I think it was a tortilla? Around a tough chili with the stem still on it, no egg around it. Couldn’t eat the chili it was too tough. I also ordered a chicken enchilada which came in a tortilla in the shape of a bowl, with chunks of chicken mixed with shredded chicken,(I ordered shredded chicken) parts of it were hard and black. Rice wasn’t very tasty, retried beans even weren’t great. Wouldn’t eat there again.

This is the the worst Mexican restaurant that I ever been to, we order fajitas for 2 everything came out like super quick, obviously everything was already cooked the chicken fajita tasted old the beef fajita was very salty, the sausage we didn’t even taste it, the shrimp had a real bad smell, it was bad, I will never go back. it was a real bad experience. The owner needs to pay more attention in the kitchen. I just hope everybody in the kitchen has their serve safe certification.

This place is decent, they have a drive thru right by my work so it’s great if I want some tacos/burritos other than Taco Bell. I’ve never dined in, so I can’t speak for that experience, but the drive thru is good. They are friendly and prompt, especially since all the food is cooked while you wait. Food-wise, I think the best thing is that it’s the only place I know of that I can get a bottle of Jarritos at the drive thru. The chips are fine, but they are a bit thick for my liking, and the salsa is good, but very spicy. I have to take breaks from it every so often, and I do like spice. The burrito I got seemed to have the opposite problem of being a bit under-seasoned, decent but a bit lacking in flavor. The rice was really good, probably my favorite part of the meal.

The good — service was very good. The waiter would get a 4 star, but the really bad food overshadowed his efforts. The bad — pretty much everything we ordered. Chicken had a definite leftover, reheated taste. Shrimp were tiny frozen, flavorless, chewy nuggets. And the tortillas were dry, reheated frisbees. Chicken enchiladas verdes were served without the verdes. HH margaritas had little to no tequila. But what do you expect for $ 1.99? Skip this place.

I know I only gave it 3 stars but I really like this place. The service is ultra friendly. The chips and salsa were very good but not other-worldly delicious. I really enjoyed the enchiladas and the sauce. The reason I gave it 3 instead of 4 stars is because it’s not quite as good as the small hole in the wall Mexican restaurants with homemade beans and special tortillas.

As long as your not the only group there or the first group there the food here is good. Their specials are reasonably priced.

What can I say negative about this place? Nothing! The food was great, server was on top of his game(and quite handsome to boot!). I had the chicken gordita and my friend had the verde enchiladas. Both were great! It was under $ 30 for the two of us! Most dishes are under $ 10! The margaritas are awesome! I had strawberry and my friend had mango. If I’m nearby I’ll definitely stop by again(even if it’s just to gaze at my waiter!).

We stopped for a quick bite while running errands. I had the barbacoa taco and al pastor… some of the tastiest tacos I had in a while… they were hearty as well… the restaurant was more modern than I thought… good décor… plenty of flat screens and a small bar as well… they had great prices too! I’ll definitely be going back!

Ordered huevos rancheros and they were actually okay. Place is always packed in evenings so I must try Happy Hour or dinner. Do I they have a great Michelada? Tortillas were delicious!

Typical Mexican fare. My husband and I stopped in later one evening for a drink and light meal. We had a late heavy lunch, so I knew I’d be eating light, if anything. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were also taken quickly. This was a plus. It was a weeknight and they weren’t busy, so I would expect this to be the case. We both ordered a house margarita on the rocks. For a standard margarita, I would rate it pretty good and I am kind of picky about them. They also brought chips and salsa right away. The chips were average, not too salty, not too greasy. Nothing exceptional, but not bad. The salsa had a good flavor, but it was supposed to be their mildest salsa. It was very spicy. I squeezed some lemon from my water in it(a good trick if your salsa is too spicy) which did help some, but it was still almost so spicy I couldn’t eat it. I can handle some spice, but this was a bit much for something caked mild. For food, my husband ordered a couple tacos and beans. I just ordered sides of rice, tortillas and lettuce. The waiter made it obvious he thought my order was weird, enough so I felt I had to explain that we had a late lunch. When my order came, they had put tomatoes on my order of lettuce. Instead of complaining, I just picked them off. I just don’t care for raw tomatoes. Again, the waiter had to make a comment. I didn’t ask for them. None of his business why I didn’t eat them. I just feel that when you are the customer, the servers should be polite about what customers choose to eat and not eat. They don’t know what allergies, sensitivities or anything else might be going on with a person. Besides, it is plain rude to make your customer feel bad or awkward. Because of the over spiciness of the salsa, the server’s poor attitude and then the wait to get our check once we finished, I don’t feel comfortable going higher than 3 stars. I doubt we will return to this place when there are so many great Mexican restaurants in San Antonio.

Well, at least my potato and egg taco was good. Not good today. Barbacoa taco not warm and too ‘hard’. I ordered a potato and egg taco, Chorizo and egg taco, and a Barbacoa taco. My wife ordered the Mexican Chilaquiles plate. Mexican Chilaquiles plate DOESNOT have eggs. Ugh. That was a big disappointment. Chilaquiles plate here(Not the ‘Mexican’ one) does have eggs. My wife ate bean tacos off plate. Mexican Chilaquiles plate has only chips, white cheese, raw chopped onions, and some sour cream. (Guess that’s Mexican Chilaquiles(?)). New building, great dining room, and great smells make this an adventure in waiting. I couldn’t wait to try it. Perhaps better at lunch or dinner. Our breakfast selections weren’t good. We might try this for lunch or dinner in a few months if they’re still here. Not consistent temperatures/quality.

Grand opening was 6÷19÷14 on this new construction property. Was the second customer there and just got two breakfast tacos to go, Chilaquiles and bean and cheese. Though I didn’t dine in, the space was clean and brand spanking new. Décor was comfortable and didn’t scream Mexican restaurant with loud colors or murals everywhere. Wasn’t instant but about a 5 minute wait and thankfully included a green and a red salsa. The staff was nice enough and greeted me as I came in for this to go order. Food was bland and not great. Not awful but just needed seasoning and flavor. Portions were on the heavier side especially considering the price. 1.50 for bean and cheese and 2 for Chilaquiles. Highlight for me was the green salsa. Tasty good build up of heat and a slight creaminess to it. Red salsa looked and tasted roasted but was too watery for me and lacked any sort of punch or flavor. I would give them another shot on some more items and because they have a drive thru so close to my office.
