I’ve only officially been to the shop twice but after moving from Austin to San Antonio a juice shop in the middle of suburbia is quite a nice surprise. I love the strawberry fields smoothie. I make smoothies and juice at home all of the time at home and can’t seem to match the smoothies taste and texture. Yum!

Juice was pretty good but it’s very expensive. Some of the combos are kind of weird, so not sure all the juices would taste good

This place reminds me of a somewhere modern day hippies would congregate. The kind of person who is «too natural» to wear deodorant and eat kale for fun. I don’t know if I’ll ever be bold enough to fully adopt that lifestyle but I do try to eat and drink things that are good FOR me and don’t just taste good TO me from time to time. Walking in, this felt like a more laid back Jamba Juice with funky drink names and the small business feel brought on by their black board with menu items written in colorful chalk. I also love that they have local art adorning their walls which give that«we’re part of the community» vibe. The first time I came here, I had an amazing experience with Kelly(I believe her name was) and she took her time showing me all of the juices they had, told me about their detox plans, and why juicing is so good for the body. I loved her passion and patience and decided that this would be a place I would regular if service was always this good. I did purchase about 4 different juices that day and have tried a few other since then and to speak candidly, every one of them was so SO good. I juice at home a couple to a few times a week but none of my concoctions ever taste nearly as good as what these guys are putting out. That shows me they have experimented and mastered their juice recipes and didn’t stumble across these by accident. Any place that can turn beets, the redheaded step child of vegetables, into a delicious drink that has me wanting more as soon I put the glass down would normally get a well deserved 5 stars in my book but… The only reason these guys don’t get full scores is because most recently, I ordered a sandwich and they served 4 – 5 patrons who came AFTER me before I got my sandwich more than likely because they all got juices and so they decided to put my order on the back burner. I waited nearly 15+ mins for a sandwich. Disappointing experience for an otherwise great establishment.

+ Good selection of balanced juice blends + Friendly upbeat service with a smile + Large, inviting space for lingering + Small healthy food menu available The nutrition book at the ordering counter is great, with detailed info on each juice’s ingredients, macros, and calories. I would suggest eliminating the tip page from the iPad ordering system– it’s a personal pet peeve to feel like I’m being told a tip is expected when this set up provides minimal service at best, particularly if I’m just walking in and grabbing a bottle from a refrigerator. Goddess(green without being bitter) and Purple Rain(fruit-based but not too sweet or caloric) are my preferred flavors. They offer social media discounts and a point-reward system.

I’m so happy that Urth opened next door to where I work. My lunch breaks just got a whole lot fresher and healthier. Such a friendly staff, and while the prices are definitely high, I think it’s justified by the quality of the ingredients! The vibe of this place is really chill and it’s super cute on the inside. Great job on the new location, Urth team!
