After Zpang’s closed, I had to look for a new place to continue my karaōke legacy. I had passed by Top Karaōke a few times on my pilgrimage to Carl’s Jr but the area always seemed so questionable. Some friends and I finally just decided to say f*ck it and went in one night. And I’m glad we did. Korean owned and seemingly small inside, it housed a nice couple and I think about 7 or so rooms. The price menu was posted at the front in both Korean and English. For about 20 bucks an hour got you a room that could probably fit about 6 people. I think it was 50 for the much larger room but I didn’t ask about the seating capacity on that one. They have refreshments available(water, soda, beer and oh hey! SOJU!!! Lol) Got in the room and they had about 3 books filled with titles although mostly international music(Korean, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, etc) the English/US stuff wasn’t too bad considering. I was even surprised at how recent some of the song choices were. They stay open fairly late(until 2am even on weekdays) and we were even told that children were allowed to join the adults in the group as well. Pretty cool, guys… pretty cool!!!

I totally agree with the first review. Everyone told me that this was the best place to go for karaōke here in San Antonio and I must say, I was not disappointed at all. The people that work there are the nicest people in the world. Even during the late hours of weekdays, they’re still very helpful and courteous. As far as concessions, they have everything. The food is great(especially those super spicy Korean instant noodles. man those are to die for !!). And yes: SOJU. Soju with orange juice is the bomb. The songs are updated pretty often so they have pretty recent stuff that is still being played on the radio today. The equipment is pretty good quality and the rooms are comfortable. Definitely a great place to go to with a group of your buddies. I highly recommend it for one of those«Man what are we gonna do tonight?» nights.
