The Falls

One minute I’m eating at this gourmet Mexican cuisine el los robertos which translates into «the spicy seduction.» The next thing im sipping champagne on the finest ship in the world with these fine people. This place is TITANIC. I wanted to take my pants off right when I walked in, this place sizzles like a sauteed sausage just waitin to get mcgriddled. There was a parrot inside, think about that… I parrot with wings free to go anywhere it pleases, goes to the falls, that good. I found dance moves I didn’t know my feet could comprehend… I did the jitter bug in all 3 rooms because for once, I knew where I belonged. I ate 5 hotdogs, and said yes every 30 seconds I was offered jello shot… Vegas goes to the falls to party. I got married in the fml room… twice. What would jesus do? Duh, go to the falls idiot. I want more.
Would’ve got 5 stars if they had a swing set.

Wow… This place is super live on a Tuesday night… Ladies free before 11. $ 2.50 drink specials… There are 4 different areas you can enjoy music and bars. The music varies from hip hop, house, and top hits. Outside there was also a live band. I had so much fun. They also have hookah for purchase. $ 25 for the hour and $ 35 for the whole night.

Three rooms. One room has live music. Good place to have a birthday celebration with attentive waitresses. Love the R&B Hip Hop room. Only bad thing I can say is the bathroom had no soap.

Great variety and drink specials! Just ask for Jacque and reserve a table for an awesome party!!! I find this location to be my go to place for work party and birthdays because there is live music, a DJ area, a bat and outdoor patio!

Fantastic don’t go here very often but when I do it’s to check out bands and hang with friends drinks are medium price all and all good bar!

I’m an out of towner, and someone hyped this place up about how good it is on Tuesdays. Let me just say the hype was way overboard.
$ 10 cover to get in, and 21+ to get. And they had a huge sign about their dress codes, but honestly this place wasn’t classy at all.
3 rooms and a patio, with a live band, and different variants of hip hops in the other rooms and patio. The DJs were decent, I think they were live streaming to a radio station, so it just was decent. But the live band was awesome.
Drinks were pretty cheap, and they had $ 99 bottle service which I thought was ridiculously cheap considering where I’m from, and the different cities I’ve been.
Having said all that, you’ll expect this place to be grown and classy, but it was the opposite. Trust me I don’t use the word «ratchet» a lot, but the girls here were ratchet. As in, they were fighting and throwing gang signs, and these were Caucasian girls.
I also maybe saw one or two cute girls all night, cute here being a 7ish/​10. It was like I went on the wrong night or something. Nothing wrong with bbws, but if that’s your thingyou’ll love this place lol.
If this is the «best bar in San Antonio» then I guess I won’t be visiting anytime soon.
Oh, and when the club closed, the parking lot became a car show with chargers, camaros and corvettes, obnoxiously revving their engines and blasting their music as loudly as possible.
You get the point, I won’t be coming here again. 2.5 for the cool band, decent DJs, cheap drinks, and proximity.

We stopped in while visiting from Houston. I was delighted to see that the gentlemen at the entrance were being strict on the dress code… good sign, right?
Fast forward to the very back of the establishment where it smelled like death. I mean the carpet by the bar area needs to be torn up and burned. The smell was so bad, other patrons who were visiting for the first time were talking about the horrible odor as well.
The bartender (female), was one word from crossing the line when my friend informed her that the drink she ordered was horrible. She made her a new drink, but I could’ve did without the 5 minute justification that was required.
Will not be going back on my next visit. #hatedit

I’ve never been to a bar/​club that was so rude to 5 girls. We had difficultly getting in and had to pay $ 120 for entrance to a DJ we couldn’t even find on google. (We didn’t pay) so we stood outside with people making rude comments in our direction for 20 minutes while our über came. I would never go back to this place.

In town visiting family for the holiday! Good music choices, nice crowd, and quick bat service. But I went there lastnight 11/​24/​2014 for the $ 2 Tuesday’s. Their drinks are watered down. There is no reason for me to have 8 drinks and not stumble out the place sober as a horse.

True story, you may pay a bit more here then a hole in the wall on a weekend but during the week this place has great specials. Live music like all the time and good service. Never have to wait for a drink because they have a ton of open bars with bartenders ready to make that money. The crowd varies and Thursday you can do 18+ to get in (* Weekends is 21 +) Its one of my spots that I like around town, if I am in the mood for that type of bar ~

When I am not playing (and sometimes winning!) poker I like to go see the bands. Two amazing breakout performances I can’t get enough of? SuperBob and Almost Kings. They are amazing. The drinks at the Falls change depending on what day it is so be aware of that since Mondays are obviously cheaper than Fridays. New light up tables in the back are a new bonus and they have a new bell outside… I don’t know what happens when you ring it. Maybe it’s a surprise.
Chris Cards is my favorite DJ there and with a cold Dos XX in your hand you can’t go wrong.

Overpriced !! 5.15 for a Dos x dressed … Its and ok spot. We ended up at the falls to check out some live music. This was a Friday night and the bar has three rooms one for live music, and the other two are for dancing. They have one room that is Spanish music, and the other is Hip hop. There was plenty of walking room the day we went. There was plenty of parking. I don’t think the $ 7.00 cover charge was cool but oh well we still paid to listen to some cool jams. Will we go back I don’t know yet, maybe if the band is cool.

Enjoyed the no-​wait time at the bars, the band 09AUG was on point with the covers. The dancing rooms were always moving with good music.

Went to falls last nite (Friday) for the 1^st time, and had a freakn blast! Bartenders were friendly. Really nice atmosphere to enjoy yourself and just chill. As for as the cover charge not sure because we weren’t charged. Drinks were on point $ 5 !

Here for the Metal Shop show and this place is getting ready for the 80’s vibe, not bad at all other than be here early to get a stool and a table of not get ready to stand. Drinks kind of on the weak side but the vibe is awesome.

I went here for a friends birthday not really knowing what to expect or how to dress. When I got here immdiately I felt a tad bit underdressed because I didn’t have on heels but that didn’t stop me from having fun. I really loved the set up of this club and the atmosphere. Immediately when you walk in there is usually live music and a huge bar. I never waited long to get a drink and there are a total of 4 rooms with different vibes of music. I really loved the hip hop room. Let’s just say I will definitely be coming back here because I really enjoyed the vibe!

always heard great reviews about this place especially on Tuesdays nights. Music was great except the first room at the entrance which was mostly rock and live bands playing. Drinks were good and the music was on point. The staff at the entrance were courteous although they didn’t let my friend in who didn’t have proper ID but they were just doing their job. Best part about the place… MEXICAN FOOD next door for your drunken munchies. Enjoy.

Wow this place is like the Chuck E. Cheese for adults minus the games and pizza. Ok, maybe not, but the Falls has everything you want in a night club.
Awesome staff, live music in the front room, hip hop in the back room, romantic outdoor patio setting, romantic back –back lounge room and bathroom attendants!!! Seriously, this place is amazing. Also, ladies? There are like 5 dudes to every 1 chick here. Your odds are looking really good for some casual dancing and drinks here.

The Falls is pretty cool as San Antonio night clubs go…

What’s not to like about $ 2 drinks and R&B and Hip-​Hop on a Tuesday night?!
The front room usually has a rock band playing but there is R&B and Hip-​Hop in the back…
Hot girls are few and far between but there are a few floating around here and there (still not bad for a Tuesday night in SA)
They even have a poker room now!
and a Bar on the Patio with the occasional live band
