Lunch while at work. I will be back! Great customer service and the food is good!!! The beef fajita tacos are some of the best I’ve had!!! The hot sauce is too watery, needs more texture and thickness…

Ordered breakfast tacos this morning and unimpressed for San Antonio tacos. I do not think I’ll try again.

The greasiest of tacos. Barbacoa taco had more onion than Barbacoa. Horrible hot sauce. Sells pizza and sandwiches. Worst of all. I don’t think they use flour tortillas. I think they use some kind of wheat.

I had this place bookmaked for awhile now so finally convinced my husband to try it so we stopped by this morning for breakfast. Nothing fancy– a few tacos. Typical order: bean and cheese, ham & egg, papa ranchera, and chorizo & papa. Ok. Here is the low down. Nice, nice people but the food lacks authenticity. You have to know how to make a real ranchera sauce. You can’t sell pizza and call the place taqueria. I get it– it’s next to a gas station but it’s still not cheap– $ 10 for 2 coffees and 4 tacos puts you up there with a «real» restaurant. That’s my experience.

This is a gem of a little taco place. The couple who run it are very warm and attentive. I hope they make it, they sure are trying.

Attached to a Shell Gas Station… HOWEVER, don’t let that skew your opinion before trying. Awesome El Pastore! Husband and wife team. Great food and morning taco specials!

Located in restaurant space of corner Shell station. Three recommended breakfast tacos on first visit. Barbacoa, potato/egg, chorizo/egg. Tortillas are fresh and tasty but leave room for improvement. Barbacoa lean, moist, condiment bar add ons fresh chopped cilantro, pico made for a good choice but still needed zip of the spicier salsa. Potato and egg, potatoes were not browned, peppered or salted, eggs were cooked to fluffy perfection. My personal preference is browned over transparent potatoes. Chorizo and egg was done to my preference, the meat was adequately browned and pieced before thoroughly mixing with fluffy eggs. My recommendation so far. One unusual thing I found somewhat noteworthy, each breakfast taco has a unique price, one only different by a few cents. Plastic coca cola drink ware, stoneware plates, medium weight metal utensils. ABC news on tv, wifi password given on request. coke sodas, horchata and lemonade 30 chairs, 8 dining tables, 2 high chairs, 2 booster Glass s/p shakers, sweet n low, sugar, large paper napkins. Plastic ware presented upside down in styrofoam cup on counter I am eager to try chilaquile and migas menu items. Also to give potatoes another chance with papas ranchera taco.
