There are no words that can express how great full I am Linda and Joe for accepting me in your studio with arms wide open. Suffering from Social Anxiety you gave me a sanctuary I could go to so that I can express myself through clay and place I could go to just to get away. You made me realize that there are people out there that do care. For those of you who are interested in playing with mud to create something beautiful in a care free environment I highly recommend Sunin Clay Studio.

This is a great place to unwind. LInda is so patient and nice. If you have ever wanted to try pottery, this is a great place to visit. She offers an intro class, she doesnt mind if you«mess up»(she can fix anything) and there are a variety of people of all skills who come thru this studio. On any given day, you will meet beginners, and highly skilled potters, and the atmosphere is always happy.

Throwing pottery is very therapeutic for me. Lots of folks buy their own wheel and kiln to create pottery in their own home, but not me. If you go to a studio, you are automatically part of a family. Yes, it’s probably as dysfunctional as yours, but it’s still family. Linda Pope, the owner is knowledgeable about every aspect of pottery. There are a myriad of classes for both hand-building and wheel. You can also opt to pay«monthly», meaning you have the skills necessary and like to do your own thing. There are also opportunities to sell your wares at local festivals/market days with others at the studio.
