By far the rudest staff of any Starbucks I have ever experienced. Good luck to you if AMBER assists you through the drive thru. She was not only full of hot headed attitude, but also proceeded to cut me off when I was attempting to add an item to my order. I literally had to wave my hands and ask her to please let me talk in an effort to finally complete my order at the window. TERRIBLEEXPERIENCE. I then had to pull forward and wait extra time because hot headed AMBER would not let me give her my order initially. Thankfully, the girl who ran out the rest of my order to me was understanding and nice enough to give me Amber’s name. To top it off, the drink was luke warm and lacked flavor.

This is the drive in location on the East side of Blanco, south of 1604. Not place to work and chat, this is a drive-thru only location. There are a few tables outside, perfect for the 80 degree October weekend. Service is so friendly! My dad and I have been regulars here since I was in high school, they will comp our drinks about every fifth time. They are so sweet, Laura has been here awhile and she’s great. Not sure if it’s the same management as the Starbucks across the street, but whoever they are they clearly do a great job. Drinks are just as good here as any other Starbucks. I feel like they tend to have less pastries, but that could just be a product of me stopping by late in the day. They did not have fresh fruit the last time I tried to order a banana, hopefully they have changed that. It’s been rumored that Matt Bonner comes here before each game! If it’s good enough for the Spurs, it’s good enough for me!

I’ve been here five times and two of those times my drink was awful. Tonight I ordered a venti peppermint mocha frappuccino. It tasted like crushed ice with a little too much mint flavoring with the occasional chocolate chip. The pumpkin spice latte I had two weeks ago tasted like, well I don’t really know how to describe the taste, it was terrible. One more chance for this place.

Was disappointed when I showed up to this Starbucks and it is strictly a drive thru. They have a walk up window and outside seating, with a restroom for customers. However, I was hoping for a typical Starbucks with indoor seating and Wi-Fi. I guess I could have researched a little bit more, but this Starbucks did not offer what I was looking for. I ended up driving a ways more to find a better Starbucks suited to my needs.

Normally I’m very happy with Starbucks. This was a disappointing exception. We had a very simple order. When we got the the window we saw the sticker did not match our order. The barista tried to make an excuse with a complete attitude. We asked if they would make them right. She took the drinks back and 10 seconds later said they were made right just labelled wrong. Of course they weren’t. If her manager or CEO experienced what we did someone would have been fired.

To set the record straight, this location is the tiny one with the drive-thru – not the one across the street next to Jim’s and TC. There’s Starbucks locations galore in this area but this one is my favorite when I’m in the go and need that quick cup of joe! This is a super tiny location with ONLY outdoor seating and a drive-thru window. Although the drive-thru line is often super long wrapping around the entire stop mall, I can say that this is THEFASTEST Starbucks in town. No joke, it’s worth getting in the line that seems really long(but really isn’t) rather than going across the street to the one by Jim’s with crazy parking. This location also has super nice baristas – they remember me and my drink order(my office is close, so it’s quite convenient) :)

Ok I am one of the Starbucks drinkers that started before the had the black card. So I know quite a couple of locations nationwide. I was near this one and got my usual drink and it’s just drinkable. I won’t go there a 2nd time it’s not worth it.

I liver near this Starbucks and it is very easy and convenient to have the drive thru option. They’re always quick and then you can jump right into 1604 when you’re done. Just keep in mind it doesn’t have indoor seating. Only outdoor seating.

As far as the layout goes, I love this Starbucks. Drive thru and outside walk up only, designed specifically for grabbing a coffee«on the go». Unfortunately, that is the only benefit. I have visited this location frequently when in a rush because of location and convenience, but am thinking about discontinuing. The coffee does NOT taste the same EVER! I think they might make the coffee extra hot because they think you aren’t drinking it right then, which makes it taste burnt and gross. Also, the workers are impolite. I get the impression that they assume they don’t have to be hospitable since there is no lounge area, but their sour attitudes go right through the window to the customers. They may want to work on smiling and saying thank you every now and then…

This location is really easy to get in and out of. It never seems busy and is always there when I’m in the mood for a latte. The drive-thru is a little strange(driving behind the building, around a corner, and up a hill) but the baristas are always very friendly and helpful. Admittedly I have never stepped foot into this establishment but just from what i’ve experienced at the drive-thru I will be going back.

I’m really surprised this Starbucks location hasn’t been created. This is the oldest of the three Starbucks locations in the 1604 Blanco intersection. This is the one WITHOUT the drive-through. Continually, this Starbucks location is my favorite because the people working here really know what they’re doing. This is a Starbucks that has regular visitors and not hipsters that pop in and out. So in general it has a more mature feeling. The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. My lattes always come out perfect. This is a great example of a good coffee shop, and a good Starbucks. I always come back!

My name is Krys, and I’m a caffeine addict. It started roughly 10 years ago, when I was a freshman in college and my roommate handed me a sip of her cup when we were pulling an all nighter at a local diner studying for an Econ exam. That first drink sent energy buzzing through my body. I ordered a cup myself. I stayed awake all night, felt like a million bucks, and aced my test. Since then, I’ve been chasing that first caffeine high with a vengeance, but few times since have left me feeling that awesome that was my initial experience. At one point, my habit was costing me upwards of $ 20/day, so I got a job at a coffee shop to ease the pain of paying for each cup of Joe. During that time, I learned about great coffee, and providing a fantastic experience for each customer who was paying $ 5-$ 7 just for a drink. Fast-forward to present day. I work from home now, so I spend a lot of time in local java joints sipping lattes and using up free wi-fi. Sometimes, I cheat on my local faves with Starbucks, and this location is very convenient when I’m on-the-go(as I usually am) so I visit from time to time. Now, the last five visits to this location have gone something like this: super friendly baristas, drive-through or walk up to a window(no café), order my regular drink: Iced Quad Venti Soy Latte. And five visits in a row, I’ve gotten the wrong drink. I hate to sound like a jerk, but when you pay $ 5ish for a beverage, you want it to be correct. Also, when you can’t drink milk, the mistake of whole milk instead of soy is not easy to swallow. Literally. So, I’m writing this review as a farewell to my friends — the incredibly friendly staff — at this Starbucks location. As nice as y’all are, I won’t be coming back because I just don’t want to continue paying for the wrong drink. And, as much as I’ll miss you, I won’t miss an accidental swallow of milk…
